High Contrast

Shadow
Small
Medium
Large
Two Sizes
Normal - (Compensates for menu bar) - (Images only included for the heck of it)
Wide 800 x 1200 - (Used for applying as wallpaper with basic Android Image viewer)
To properly apply 800 x 1200 wallpapers:
Download images from 1200 folder to SD card, doesn't matter where. (Ignore ._files, it's because I use OS X)
Unmount SD card safely (You better not just unplug the thing, or I swear I'll find you)
Use the Android aspplications such as Astro or Root Explorer to navigate your Nook to the folder in which you placed the wallpapers
View image in the default "Android" image viewer and select the "Set as" button on the top
Drag vertical arrows until the entire 800x1200 image is selected and confirm the selection
Done!
Free use, please give credit where credit is due.

Does any one know where the stock wallpapers are stored. The gallery app acting strange, and with out out the file location I cant use any alternative software to choose a wallpaper. Also the wall paper gallery only sees files in its default directory. where ever that is. Thanks

[App] Push v0.01 (aka new Pocket Gforce)

Hi all on the last week some friends ask me to make some simple apps using the Accelerometer from HTC and other. I'm still up my neck whit work but some simple app's came true. So heres one...
Gforce Push v0.01
This one is really simple but me and my friends enjoy driving whit it all the time.

Atm all he does is...
First put your devise in landscape mode (it will return to normal in the end)
Prevents backlight Dim and Standby (it will return to normal in the end)
show Total (x/y) Gforce in the big Blue center label
show Total (x/y) Gforce in the bar on the right (scale can be selected on the options menu)
show direction of Gforce(or movement if you invert x/y in the options menu)
show update rate on the red label
show other debug stuff on the green label (x, y , angle and battery)
atm Auto Calibrate is not working reasonably well so don't use it.
How to use it....
I dint make a instaler so yoiu have to copy the files to your devise manually and the open
"Push" folder must be put in the device memory root!!!
To go to options just touch the label "Options"
to go back to main just touch the label "Main"
to manually calibrate click the right button on the Dpad
to close the app click the center button on the Dpad
Skins...
All image's can be change but for the moment don't use different sizes
To do list...
Make config file to save preferences and path for the "img" folder.
Put Auto Calibrate more reliable
Release v0.01

Thats it for 3 days of work.
Plz do comment.
Hi Ikari, I have downloaded your application. I'll tell you my experience after I tested it on my HTC phone.
Maybe I didn't test it in the right way, the arrow didn't point to the right direction that the phone was moving or accelerating. Nice arrows though.

Flash Pimp Clock

Loved the original idea from here:

Its basicly a different visual clock, to read the hours see the left vertical columns and for the minutes see the right 5-rows columns.
The PDF on the site above explains it better...
To use:
---------
- 5 colors to choose from, just press the bottom bar to change colors.
- If you prefer a 12-hour clock, simply click the left numbers after 13h.
- Exit with enter (keypad) or by pressing the top-right area.
- See the "normal" digital clock and date by pressing anywhere else on the screen.
Notes:
-------
- Needs FLASH 7, if it doesnt exit properly, you dont have it.
- Attached the CAB, already with the WM6.5 icon on install.
- Also added a separated swf file, to see it run on your NOKIA, PC or Throttle Launcher..
Enjoy.
Nice idea
Love it! thanks!
it would be cool if it can be a screensaver.
thanks twolf!
WQVGA issue omnia
just wondering if there's a way to make the excess screen on my omnia to default BLACK- then your app would be awesome
maybe even add function buttons - there's some promising update potential
awesome clock - would it be possible to simulate the look of a recessed L.E.D.?
looks good on my armband at the CLUB!!!
Great...very cool with the color options!
Sorry, the software I use for the EXE only allows VGA/QVGA, he doesnt even allow any extra options for the size or screen color.
Use flash pimp clock
I need a macromediaflash for use it. someone can help me?
found it
Yes, yes my first app for the htc diamond.
it`s fantastic........... I`m cry
Standalone app?
Just wondering... what is the program you are using for these standalone apps? I could probably use the same thing to make my own FlashGadgets play as standalones, which would make them work across a broader series of device platforms. Please check out my thread, and tell me what you think. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=630985

As most of you already know, I'm a DIE-HARD Eagles fan and love to show it!! Its almost like I've been on a mission to skin anything and everything I can to further rep my squad. I came across this application called MWC3(Marshall WaitCursor 3) that replaces the default Windows Mobile WaitCursor. It's not a way to skin the existing one (shellres.96.dll), but a standalone application that offers a new concept of wait cursors. I created several sets of team waitcursor skins for everyone that work great with this app.
All I ask is if you like and use my work it to leave comments or suggestions. Huge thanks goes to the developer, xda member, Marshall07 for this amazing program.
Get the app fromHERE(XDA) or directly from the developer's site HERE if you don't already have it.
How to get my skins working..
- Install MWC3.cab to device memory.(Note: Uninstall older versions of MWC before installing version 3) and soft-reset
- Unzip and copy the folder into the root of the MWC3 install directory. So it should be..\Program Files\MWC3\"folder goes here"(unzipped)
- Now navigate to start, MWC3 folder, and open MWC Config. Slide your finger across the screen from right to left to access the next page in settings. Now scroll thru them until you find the team cursor. hit the green check mark and you all set.
- the speed at which it rotates can be adjusted by editing the cong.mwc3 file using notepad.
You can also find random cursors I've made throughout the thread including Halloween(page5), Thanksgiving(page6), and Christmas(page7)

[Theme] Windows Phone 7 UI+Launcher+Music (All Droids)

Pretty Simple Theme,
You will need CM7 (Because of its T-Mobile theming engine)
You will need to know how to sideload APK's
Any Droid should work (or any phone for that matter)
Step 1 (Install Launcher 7)
Get Launcher 7 from market
(Donate version doesnt have ads, i suggest getting it. you wont be disappointed)
Change default launcher to Launcher 7
Step 2 (Make tiles Blue)
On the homescreen, press menu
Press 'Launcher7 Settings"
Change the tile color to #ff19a1e2
Click the blue swatch to confirm
(Do not set status bar options, the theme will do this)
Step 3 Install the CM Theme
In Market, get MinimalBread
The Install will go into your Theme Chooser app
One side effect of the theme is some missing features. so far i havent seen any big ones
Select it, Install then Reboot
Step 4 Music App
now what inspired me to make this tutorial was the music app i saw on Engadget,
Article Here
Download Here
Software Updates Here
Install the APK to your phone
Hold down the music Icon in Launcher7
Press the Pencil
Change the Application and look for Fede's Music App
Now your phone has the Windows Phone 7 theme,
Any questions? Feel free to PM me
You should add screenshots
+1
please add some screenshots
Looks great, thanks for your efforts.
Post some screen shots please.
Regards

Very smooth launcher for my old milestone, only Launcherpro works better.
I wont change it to other ones for a time.
But it is still a mimic, not identical to real WP7.
This is from my samsung focus:

There it is..
Well, I'm using the donation one. And yeah it's running pretty damn smooth!!
i think android is better than windows 7
Like this theme! Thanks a lot for showing us the methods to apply it.

Fitting Wallpapers

I'm looking for a good background on the screen, if I open the screen setup I see a square block instead of a rectangle block,
if i use a 1280x800 image is always cuts off a part of the image.
does someone know the resolution of the square box?
of does anyone have a link to a wallpaper pack for the Tab 10.1?
Greetz...
I been struggling with this same issue since day one. I too tried using the same Res wallpapers with the same issue lol. Soo I did some experimenting. For me what worked was a combination of two things. First off I use 1280x1024 wallpapers and I use quickpic to apply them. Here's some screenies to compare gallery and quickpic..

This image I'm sure ur familiar with. Nice n square and not cropped as we want it to be.
Here as you can see the crop toll within quickpic fits the rectangle horizontally quite perfectly and only cutting off the image at the top and the bottom. This is something that has become quite acceptable to me lol. Well I hope this helped

Wallpapers that fit
I too was having this problem. Even using Zedge would render blurry, non-fitting images. After some trial and error, I found PicSpeed wallpapers (https://play.google.com/store/apps/...1bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5zcnNkZXYud2FsbHBhcGVycyJd) and everything that I've loaded from there has been cropped and adjusted properly. I did find that I get my best results by picking the default settings, which is the one that allows the wallpaper to scroll. Not my app at all, but it solved this problem for me.
Good luck.
best solution till now for wallpapers i found
i use app in google play called wallpapers bay to get nice looking wallpapers with tablet resolutions and save them as download them then use app in google play called simple image wallpaper to set them i enter the app from from live wallpaper !!! and then find the name of installed app then enter it enter setting and browse image in gallery then set it sooo decent looking
