How to install (only for FirstUA-Rom-V1.0):
Make a backup of all user's settings and programs with Titanium Backup
Copy FirstUA-Rom-V1.0_without_warez.zip and CF-Root-S5830-v3.7-b79_recovery.zip into your SD card
Flash stock KPH with Odin (if you allready use KPH or other KPH based ROM, you can skip this step)
Go to recovery, flash CF-Root-S5830-v3.7-b79_recovery.zip (If you already use ClockWorkMod 4.0.0.9, you can skip it)
Reboot into ClockWorkMod 4.0.0.9, check wipe data/factory reset. (wipe will delete all your data and settings, but it is necessary for stable work of this ROM)
Flash FirstUA-Rom-V1.0_without_warez.zip from recovery. System partitions will converted into ext4. (dont mount manually anything, all mounting automatically!)
Reboot your phone(first boot will take some time)
Restore your data with Titanium Backup.
That's all... Do not forget to activate your required tweaks in Tweaks program and reboot
How to update (from v.1.1 and higher):
Copy FirstUA-Rom-V1.*.zip into your SD card
NO need to do wipe
Flash FirstUA-Rom-V1.*.zip from recovery or CWM Manager (dont mount manually anything, all mounting automatically!)
Reboot your phone.
ROM included all system languages which present in KPH
Fill free to do wipe after installation, it shouldn't "kill" the system.
ROM DOESN'T include any warez. All warez app were removed.

Yeah defaults to Chinez, i was able to figure out where to change to english, still alot of chinez though...
Also having apps in sd-ext/app causes the phone to crash at startup...

Is there anyway I could fix the crashing ?
I know that there are tones of themes for MIUI, so I wanna ask if there is theme changer available? And is there any restrictions or I can just download any MIUI theme and apply it to the phone?

Yes you can apply theme with theme manager..but only for 2.2 version n below..

What I do is backup my apps with my backup pro..then I delete all apk inside SD ext app folder..reboot to open recovery ...apply ..clean data n dalvik/cache n reboot..no more app crash on startup ...

Curious though - I believe in addition to giving a different interface, options and apps, miui is supposed to run faster and better than normal ( I think I saw that said). Is it true here, or should I expect same performance as Khal's V4 but with MIUI this time? (which wouldn't be a bad thing)
Almost same on benchmark and lingpack score..v4 more free ram than this..but miui ui is smoother..but no support for HDMI TV out.....

That's fine - don't use HDMI anyways. Unfortunate about less RAM though since that is the weakest part of XT720. Guess we'll see how it is. Thanks
The higher I can get is 60 ++ ..50++ on startup..I like phone dialer response in this rom..nicee..
I can say all setting menu in English abt 95%...still in Chinese character is on miui market, notification toggle bar(with icon) ..n minor character in some menu(not obvious) .

i think fjfalcon made a boot3.img for the wanhu rom. i think its in the wanhu wishlist thread (not sure).

Ok thanks! My problem with APN is that i need the option to turn it off because i do not have unlimited data plan..
Any suggestions on how i can do this? APN manager from market kept on turning the APN on, so i was paying for mobile data even when i was sleeping.. heheh..!!

You can try to reinstall new one in 1st post. Install app as normal app, no need cwm

I havent tried to upgrade from 2.3.3 to 2.3.5. maybe it's safer if u go to 2.3.4 first

Im trying to install the stock 2.3.5 firmware, but I dont know how, when I extract the file I got just 1 file ( I guess is one package right? ), but I saw in some forum that you can not install one package if you are coming from another version ( 2.3.3 KPO in my case )
What should I do?, how do I install the stock firmware?

@consegregate confirmed that u can flash directly from KPO to 2.3.5 KS2
Ive successfully installed you Rom mate, and Ive to say that works perfectly, fast and smooth.
Got 2 little problems though,
1) I cant activate Swap on swap settings no idea why, but it doesnt turn to activated mode
2) I cant put de davilk cache on SD-EXT, due to a lack of space, thats whats my phone says, but Ive got mora than 1gb of free space on my SD card, so whats wrong?

Hey man thanks but got a question, Ive read some tutorials about how to part your sd card, but I cant find the answer to : How much space should I leave for EXT partition ( 128M, 256M, 512M, 1024M, 2048M or 4096M ) when Ive got a 4gb sd card. ( thats in CWM recovery )
I guess that ext partition is the one to install your apps instead installing them on the internal memory right?, if so, is it okey with just 512MB and the rest for my normal SD card usage?
And then for the SWAP size, just two second ago I saw a guy in a video who said that is good to set it up on 32 or 64mb rather than 0MB as Ive read in other post, so whats the correct answer?

Installation:
1:I RECOMEND WIPING 3 OR 4 TIMES. wipe data/cache factory reset
2:flash zip from sd card
3:in aroma installer click next agree, next install rom,
4:CHOOSE ADVANCED INSTALLATION, if not, it will install all the launcher and apps and you dont want that
5:there you can chose any modem you want, launcher, etc. EXEPT FOR THE KERNEL THAT YOU MUST SELECT ONLY glitch the other ones are not compatible
6:I FULLY RECOMEND DOWNLOADING SEMAPHORE KERNEL FROM DEV TREAD, WIPE CACHE AND DALVIK AND FLASH SEMAPHORE, YOU WILL HAVE A LOT OF RAM

1) I just installed the Tiramisu what do you recommend for proper use / better ROM?
1) After installing the ROM, I suggest you go Galaxys settings and adjust (if necessary) the colors and the mDNIe Mode
2) Settings In Performance:
- Processor Speed: In Cpu Governor personally have put SmartassV2
- I disabled the boot animation by checking the last option
3) can use the app NsTools to set, among others, the Overclock
4) To the better animation use app Spare Parts Plus and set Windows Animation and Transition Animation on Very Low
5) To set the lockscreen that you want, use the MiLocker app. If you want other LockScreen, go to the Online section where there are hundreds (you can also choose the lockscreen background)
Warning: You should do the OC from APP Semaphore only if you know what you do, because the oc with the above kernel is UNSTABLE!
2) How can I do to solve or at least reduce the problem of Wifi?
Solution: Try to flash the modem ZSJPG
3) I do not have the FM radio as I fix this?
Solution: Use the app Spirit FM. To hear the radio go to settings -> Regional Band Select Italy, in Audio -> Method -> Galaxys Danger in the Output Device you can set speaker or headphones.
It seems that 1% of cases (only the Galaxy S), the use of the app has broken the phone's speaker.
4) I have photos, music, contacts, duplicate / tripled how fix?
Solution: Clear cache and dalvik of app and media storage so reboot
5) What are the inverted GAPPS flashable with Tiramisu?
Answer: They are the main Google Apps and not (email, messages, contacts, etc.) with the colors inverted ie mainly in Black and Blue Very useful to save some battery (as well as aesthetically beautiful).
6) Can i help Development of Tiramisu?

That is the official stock odin file wait for my file please! (CWM Flashable)
u should heavily modify it now!!!
Also use the kernel with AOSP JB, it'll work!

change kernel, to allow OC up to 1500Mhz (governors?)
as I can see ur working on deodexed...
DARKER settings menu, cause white is just too... boring...
block ads
pre buzybox maybe?
power menu mod, to get into recovery and download faster?!?

also try out if the kernel works with AOSP JB, it should, when I talked to samsung officcial guys...

Yes on the Official ICS P7510 Port front cam is also working!
Will try to add extended power menu soon and will add busybox too in the next update!
