Samsung has a smart watch on the way, a company executive recently confirmed. “We’ve been preparing the watch product for so long,” the company’s executive vice president of mobile Lee Young Hee told*Bloomberg. “We are working very hard to get ready for it.” Samsung recently introduced the Galaxy S4 with a bevvy of accessories, including a smart wrist band that can keep track of calories burned, distance traveled and more, but this is an entirely different product.
Screenshots from*Samsung’s alleged smart watch leaked in mid-February, showing off what appeared to be a version of Android and the “Altius” moniker. The shots suggested that users will not only be able to check the time but also check maps, control music, manage their inbox and more.
Apple, too, is allegedly working on an iWatch, and we imagine there’s going to be a race to the market in some form or another. Samsung’s executive didn’t say when the watch will hit the market, although the urgency in hits quotes suggested Samsung’s working to get it to market as soon as possible.

LeMall is at the epicenter of LeEco’s industry-leading e-commerce experience, it is one facet that ties the entire ecosystem together with a single-stop e-commerce platform that breaks the boundaries of platform, content, device and application.
Considering LeEco’s amazing success in India with the launch of its #SuperPhones Le 1s and Le Max, and its burgeoning LeMe Community filled with outstanding #SuperFans, it doesn’t take a genius to realize that LeMall is going to be yet another success in a year that has already been very successful for LeEco and its community of #SuperFans!

LeEco CEO Jia Yueting: “Apple is outdated”

It’s often said that first impressions are the most important, so make each one count.
Such is indeed the impression Jia Yueting inevitably left in his first international television interview.

Mr. Yueting, the 43-year old CEO of China’s LeEco conglomerate, was recently interviewed by CNBC
during this past weekend’s China Entrepreneur Club event, and had a number of bold statements to offer,
including some very critical ones pertaining to Apple.
Mr. Yueting called the house that Steve Jobs built “outdated”
and cited such a belief as the reason Cupertino is losing momentum in China:
One of the most important reasons [for slowing sales]
is that Apple’s innovation has become extremely slow.
For example, a month ago Apple launched the iPhone SE.
From an industry insider’s perspective, this is a product with a very low level of technology…
We think this is something they just shouldn’t have done.

Honor Fans/Consumers Meetup (India)

In continuation to expand the reach and meet up with fans & consumers, Honor India, on 25th August, at Delhi, organized a fan/consumer meet up to get their valuable feedback, complaints, feature requests etc and provide solutions/explanation to address their queries. This was 3rd meet up in the list followed by Chennai and Mumbai. This meet up was for mainly Honor 6X and Honor 8 Pro users.
We shared many feedback, questions & answers and requested for some feature set which we would want to see in upcoming EMUI/phones. It was more of a feedback session and we, along with Honor officials, had a good interactive session.
Fans shared their views, questions, complaints/feedback and also suggested few of the things for community expansion/enhancements which Honor officials took very positively and provided thorough answers and for few of the questions raised, they assured that they will be taking it up further with R&D to work upon, like uniform OTA for all the devices, few of the bugs raised like theme issue, camera lag etc that they will be working internally to provide a better end user experience.
