[Q] Dead TF dock battery, pls help! - Eee Pad Transformer General

Hi all of you!
I didn't charge the dock over a week or more (maybe 10 days), just use it with the tablet from time to time and see only normal blinking red(not fast blinking like some said if battery is very low).
Last night the tablet charged up to 100% with no issues, however 12 hours later I have a keyboard dock with a constant blinking orange LED that will not charge. I tried charging it with the tablet attached and without - no change. The adapter doesn't even heat up when trying to charge the dock which again tells me that something in the battery on the dock is not accepting the charge.
Pls tell me what to do?
My friend bring me this bundle from London(Comet) but I live in Bulgaria.... and just don't know what I have to do..
P.S Hmm something interesting-after I received the 3.1 FOTA update on 03.06.2011, I successfully update the tablet and after that dock-station with 0209, but I received another update 0209....maybe a week ago and update it again-it comes again successful and that's all ..hmm don't understand nothing

Internal Switch for the Docking Station

Hey,
Like many of you , I was forced to send my docking station back to asus for replcement becaue it never charged .
I got it back after 4 days - They told me they did not replace it , instead they switched it on . They told me there is an internal switch in the dock that was off , preventing the dock from charging.
I was careless enough to mis place the service reciept that mentioned "Dock switched off" ...
Anyhow - has anyone else heard of this "internal switch" ???
background - i bought my dock and transformer togther, the dock failed to charge even once - when i instlled a dual battery widget - it told me the dock was on 14% percent charge and draining , all the time... and the red light kept blinking once it reached below 14%.
It was steady red when i plugged it in for charge, however it never charged.
I sent it to asus where there were several ppl with similiar issues.
Yeah, there is an internal switch inside the keyboard that turns it off and on. It's on the edge of one of the circuit boards. I saw a picture of it in a thread, but can't find the thread now. Which is a shame, because I've been looking for that thread for about a week now. If I find it I will also let you know.
I also had a dock that wouldn't charge, and just RMAed it a week ago. I had completely forgotten about the switch.
I also had a dock (B40 version) that stopped charging so I RMA'd it to the Grapevine, Texas location. It has been almost two weeks since I sent it in and the repair status currently shows:
Waiting-[WB7] Wait for Technical Support From ASUS
It has been like that for almost a week now so I'm hoping that I'll receive a new unit or get an update soon. This is truly disappointing that we have to deal with such flaws like this.
Bob Smith42 did alot of modding on the keyboard and fount the internal switch.

Look at the 3rd photo....ie SW1001

So is this simply a matter of turning that switch on, or is there something else that must be done?

At least they were honest about what the problem was.

Tab Thinks That It Is Charging, But Is Not Plugged In

For some reason my tab thinks that it is charging (i have a lightning bolt in the battery icon in the botton right hand corner, when i go into tab info it says "Charging AC", and when i bring it to the unlock screen it has the batter % and "charging" underneath it. However, i do not have the orange or white charging/ charged light on the power button.
Does anybody know why this is happening to my tablet and what i can do to correct it.
I have tried plugging it in and charging it, resetting to factory defaults etc but nothing helps.
Thanks,
Mike.
Wowzer !!!
if the system think that it's getting juice... you might be the owner of the tablet that never die and lasts forever... LOL
see the positive side to things
J/K ... someone will come along with help and answer
maybe you could try and re-flash it with the latest full rom ??
i wish it never did, however the battery % continues to reduce.
I am not yet rooted so I cannot reflash.
I have spent a couple hours talking to Acer today, they have told me to ring high level support haha.
Just my luck eh
Took the tab back to office depot and got a replacement no problem
Lost my screen protector though
Mine does this as well.
The icons are all indicative of charging and yet, it's not plugged in.
I thought the upgrade to 3.1 from 3.0.1 would fix that but it did not.
Mine no longer does this. I think it needed a full charge to "set" the battery or to calibrate the charge detection software.
I dunno, all I know is that after the tab finally got a full overnight charge while it was turned off - suddenly this issue is no longer.
Same goes for the touch screen not responding while the tab was plugged in. That issue is gone as well.

Charging issue

I have only had my A500 a few days. It is not rooted but updated to OTA Honeycomb 3.1. Otherwise it is as it came out of the box. The last two mornings, after being on the charger all night, it showed it was still charging and was only at about 60% charge one morning and 80% the other morning. When I unplugged it, however, the indicator (and "About" screen) showed it was at full charge. Use the remainder of the day would suggest the full charge indication was correct. Has anyone else come across this issue? Any suggestions?

My device sometimes does this but it's probably just a slow refresh setting on my rom.
I just don't look at the status of the battery but use the light on the power button to know when the battery is full.

Fully discharge, no sign of life

Hello there,
i've had problems again with my battery of my Nexus 4 and i wanted to try a really full discahrge. By full i mean waiting the turning off of the phone while in the recovery mode.
The last time i did that, i plugged it in the charger and all went almost fine (at the beginning a red led started to blinking without screen turning on; after a while it started normally).
This time the phone isn't giving any sign of life. Any hint (excluding the official assistance)?
SOLUTION:
I've pluged/unplugged the phone from charging so many time that probably electron by electron the battery charged enough to start (LOL joking). By the way, after few plug-unplugs the red dot started again to flash, then finally after a few plug-unplugs it just starte from nothing :|
leave it on the charger for at least 1 hour
my friend has an asus memo pad and it got discharged to 0% and it took him 1 hour to get it up to 5%.

Lenovo K6 Note charging issues

Hi guys,
Recently I've noticed that while charging my phone, sometimes it charges normally (that is 2h14mins to full), but sometimes it changes randomly to some weird 4 hours or so. Estimated charge time changes during one charge randomly. I am on nougat 228, using original charger that came with the phone, plugged to a wall, not using the phone during charging. Also, I have heard about this battery calibration method, can it fix this issue? Not sure whether nougat update could have caused it.
PS: The phone is new, like a week old.
My phone has got the same problem, also if phone is turned off it will take a long to charge, did you find a solution?
