[Q] two questions: Subtitles and Camera issues - Galaxy Tab 10.1 General

1. Is there a way to encode "soft" not hard-burn subtitles into mp4 files. and if so will the stock player recognize this? I really like the 5.1 surround experience on the stock player, this is why I like the stock player
2. Is anyones front facing camera angled in a wierd way. My front camera seems to be angled away from the screen. For example to do video chat I have to tilt my galaxy tab down so the screen is facing towards the floor to a certain extend. I was wondering is that all tablets or just mine? I have a 14 day grace period before I can replace it.
Thanks in advance

anyone??? anyone?

The first question is a no. You have to hard-code.

Distortion in album media player.

I have noticed an unusual bug with the HTC Album video player and I am unsure what it is or how to fix it. It seems to only effect videos recorded with the HD2 (videos recorded with my old HTC Diamond play fine) however these same videos play with no problems using coreplayer.
At random points in the image frames there are elements of distortion sometimes these points turn green other times they are just blurry. These points like i say are random but in the same place and time frame each time an individual video is played (does that make sense? lol). I managed to capture some distortion with my mobiler. This is quite mild really, I have seen worse and I have seen this same video play with that bottom section completely green for half a second or so before settling correct again.
Any ideas guys? Anyone else having this problem?
Incidently this video is of my cat attacking the missus through the fence when she was gardening lol.

[Q] Turn off display while outputting video?

Hey all,
I'm outputting video from my vibrant to my tv using a 3.5mm to rca cable. Video outputs fine, but I was wondering if there is anyway to turn off the phone's display while playing video or movie. By pressing the screen off button in the video player, all that happens is a touchscreen lock, that's it. So perhaps I'm missing something? maybe there's another video player out there that can achieve what I'm looking for? if anyone can shed some light on this, it would be much appreciated, thank you
Kevin
+1... i'd also like to know if this is possible... but hopefully a good video player that plays divx...xvid..and others alike...
I think you would actually need a video player that will actually support the vibrant's tv out feature. As of yet, there its no way to turn it off...how else would you control the screen then?...

[Q] Rear camera filming

Hi
At one time I tried to record a video where zoom in and out was used. The problem was that the zoom out after zooming in for some minutes causes the video on display and the recorded file to become corrupted on the right side of the video.
Can any one verify this problem ?
That was the first trying to record a video on the new phone on a particular occasion and a surprising issue was on display.
Then I didn't use the camera at all for few weeks.
Then after a few week trying to replicate the issue and it was reproducible.
What do you think?
So no body is interested in this issue or is it just my phone?

[N910G][VIDEO RECORDING] Clicking/Popping noise while recording videos-

Hi I've had my galaxy note N910G for about 3 months now. I have a problem when recording videos from the camera.
There is a random clicking/popping sound in the video. Initally i thought maybe I'm moving my hand too much or my finger is touching the microphone, but no....that is not the case. The pops come even when video recorded keeping the phone stationary on a table. When heard on earphones, the sound appears to come from the left side. I don't know what's wrong with my phone. Is it hardware or software fault ? What can be the solution...... anyone here who can help ?

Video playback issues - Screen goes black

I've had the Nexus 6P for a month now and video playback has always been wonky
Every few minutes the video and audio feed cuts out and then comes back a second later. It happens on Mx Player and VLC and it's infuriating me. Was thinking of trying a custom rom to see if this fixed it.
Anyone else have similar issues or some advice?
