Question for those of you who may have the Galaxy Tab 10.1 (new model, the more slim tablet):
In this model, Tab 10.1 (new model) is already installed Android TouchWiz Honeycomb 3.1 for more on UX?
No, give me that watching videos of this latest model ... I do not see any part of the famous "TouchWiz UX" ... (Am I blind and not see it? ... Or really comes preinstalled IF ALL skinny new 10.1?

No, it is not on the currently shipping retail models, and the I/O edition did not get it on the 3.1 OTA update, either.
Reportedly TouchWiz will come in a later OTA update.

Good news for them as samsung has released a new ics rom optimized for samsung distributed galaxy notes. Stable version with fixed emmc bug. So all the peopke who are still not stisfied with their custom rom or are still unable to find a good one or who still cant figure out how to root their note, samsung has released what they really need.

How do you know the emmc bug is fixed in this ICS version?

Installed this. eMMC Chip Revision 0x19! In otherwise, still bad according to bug checker. Is it possible the checking app is, excuse the pan, Bugged?
AFAIK, there is nothing new in this ROM kernel, as this ROM appeared OTA today, otherwise it was released more than wk ago.
waiting for responce from OP regarding his statement, otherwise should be reported to Mod, as it may misguide and more bricking will follows.

To All in this thread, to date....... there is no known stable fix for the emmc bug Yet........ Chainfire, Original_Gangaman, Reinbeau,Myself (oka1) and other Elite Developers Will SOUND THE TRUMPETS !! once a correct fix is out.

Facebook page of samsung pakistan stated this and i am searching that post. But they replaced it and are busy boosting about their siii. I called the samsung distribution and they said they will email me and after verification. Well this is a non-wipe version and after upgrading i had my usual GB stuff restored and optimized for ics.

Unfortunately, the link is not working and the Android version is not mentioned (most probably another ICS 4.0.4 with bug fixes or so). Does anyone have more info on this release? Or has a link for this firmware? Thanks in advance.

The latest one is P7510UBLP4 ... released July 2013 for Brazil.
And as expected, its still ICS.
I'm going to flash it in awhile because I need a stock tab for office email use.
Too bad I am already happy with a few months of using Android 4.3 (CM10.2/SGT7), but my iPhone was sold so have to go legalize the tab again.

Looking to either purchase S4 or One (probably what everybody debates). Looked at the Omega 5.0 thread and saw that we are on the 5th release for "final stock firmware"? I am on AT&T in the US and was just wondering, where exactly are these firmwares coming from? OTA? AT&T is VERY slow with updates so you may forgive me for my confusion. All these firmware updates are 4.2.2 so is it just bug fixes? Not really following (I'm currently on a S2 Skyrocket and we've only had 2 updates like ever from GB to ICS to JB and that took literally YEARS)

Not really. It rolled out what seems to be a soak test in a couple of territories and has since seemingly pulled it. The german DBT / multi CSC version wasn't even rolled out via OTA only through Kies.
Now it's unavailable on kies leaving users like myself with unbranded German DBT (CSC model) devices completely unable to flash it without downloading it from external sources and using ODIN.
Lollipop 5.0.1 seems to have gone officially into 'limbo' and were all guessing what this means for us. Perpetual wait for 5.0.2 or 5.1 ? Why did they stop rolling it out ? Are they going to fix and update to newer material design contacts/dialer/messages in a new lollipop version ?
Basically we just don't know and as per usual - play the Android waiting game.

I'd rather wait for the 5.0.2 version that the S6 is shipping with than use the current version. Or even better jump straight to 5.1.

you're right. Actually it's getting pretty bizarre. Samsung was hinting a Lollipop release in October 2014 (I know....hinting is no date) That was FIVE MONTHS ago without any information from Samsung. I HAD to install the DBT lollipop rom because my device was working very bad on KK (out of the box lot's of lags/crashes - had it tested but no solution) It's a better now but i'm not happy i'm actually still running a beta.
Right now Samsung is more focused on the s6. We have to wait but it's a bit strange indeed.

Here we are, holding the Note 4, and I don't know about you but I feel very not proud of my flagship phone.
I'm a first time Samsung user but I'm going back to the Chinese. Huawei treats me like a God every time I buy a flagship from them. I bought the note on a drunken whim. I love the pen!
However, is too expensive and I hate feeling like a school-child waiting for goodies.

The 5.0.1 Lollipop rom is apart from some small bugs fine. If it was a soak test, why have they released the sources for it?
What ticks me off so much is the freaking lack of device priority in this update nonsense, not one S5 or definitely any NOTE 3 should be getting this update before the Note 4, we paid the big bucks for it; we should have top priority since it's the newest device (apart from the s6, but still that's far off) . and apparently the Sprint Note 4 is getting the update roll out today when T-Mobile says they haven't even received the update from Samsung yet. This is really starting to tick me off. Next flagship Windows Phone rolls around I'll be out of this game, I didn't have to wait for carrier approval, I just got it plain and simple without wait.
2 us carriers have it now

It has already been said a million times and confirmed by Oculus themselves...The delay of Lollipop has nothing to do with the gear VR...
Those of you who are so eager to get Lollipop while having the N910F variant, just flash the Polish firmware and there you have it...others with the N910G/H will have to wait though.
