What tool are you using for converting scripts?

updater-script can be converted manualy but i dont know how to convert update binary
EDIT:you can also use this tool http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=903598
EDIT2: this program works but got wrong mount path for example it is not /dev/block/stl9 to mount system you can use newest minicm to check that.

Thanks. I tried it before, but without success.
I gave it another chance and I manually changed mountpoints like this:
/dev/block/mtdblock0 on /system
/dev/block/mtdblock3 on /data
/dev/block/mtdblock1 on /cache
and it works (tested on FroyoBread themes).
I used update-binary from ClockworkMod Recovery thread

which rooting guide did you use? did you change your kernel? you need to replace the bcm4329.ko file in /system/lib/modules with the one that corresponds to the kernel you are running...

Just a sort of "duh" reminder to always read things carefully before you do anything.
For example I quickly read the title of this thread as "Wife isn't working" and I thought "Tell me about it"

ok.... DOWNLOAD THIS then put it in the directory with adb. In command prompt navigate to the directory with adb then put these commands in
adb shell
mount -o rw,remount -t ext3 /dev/block/mmcblk0p25 /system
exit
abd push bcm4329.ko /system/lib/modules/
adb reboot
your wifi should be fine after this.
Ok, do I need the terminal emulator? To type these commands

no you need adb... google android sdk download install
if you can't figure that out copy the file to your sdcard then in terminal do this
unplug phone
mount -o rw,remount -t ext3 /dev/block/mmcblk0p25 /system
cp /sdcard/bcm4329.ko /system/lib/modules/
this should fix it... might take a reboot
Which version do I need? 2.2 or 2.3
great now my SU permissions are denied....

you probably didn't root properly and only had temp root then
That makes sense. How do I get rid of clock work mod. I'm just gonna go back to stock. This rooting is

It's really not that bad. You just need to slow down, take a breath and follow the instructions and everything will right itself.
Some people always think that there is a one-click solution; when in fact you just need to follow a few precise directions. Key word being 'precise'.
If you want to unroot and go back to stock, check my sig for unrooting.

I read in another post that this version of CWM only supports the sd-ext so those of you that like romracers recovery can just keep that.
CWM does support ext4 though and it has for the last couple of point releases I think.

Yeah, 5.0.0.1, is available from the website directly.

Well it defaults to the ext-sd, if you have one. Otherwise, I guess it defaults to the internal. The install .zip. and backup/restore features are all automated now, in terms of you not being able to select internal or external; i.e. if you have a ext-sd installed, and you simply select backup in CWM, then the process starts automatically, without giving the option to select where you would like to store the backup. I didn't care for it, and went back to RomRacer's; more options + colors.

Yeah. I'm having trouble with it too. Will not perform a backup at all. Asking to ensure I have v4.4.0.0 or higher installed. We'll yeah, I've got 5.0 installed!
Going back to romracers as well.

So we all should keep sticking to romracer's 4.0.1.5-atrix3.2 Recovery ?
