[Q] Do you think the wqxga display will be in the 10.1? - Galaxy Tab 10.1 General

Would this be a good thing compared to wxga it was slated to be released with?

The Pentile display has already been completed and is available to Samsung, so why wait if it's almost equivalent with Retina display technology?

If only! (and pleeeeeease freaking include the microSD slot)
If they wait and release an updated Tab later this year they will be annoying the crap out of a lot of people.
I think it's going to be best to wait now and see when they are planning on releasing the screen - and or including quad cores. If its happening this year I think I'll wait. There's nothing worse than buying something that is blown away 1 to 2 months later by a product from the same company.
I think it would be better they delayed a few months and released it with the screen, quad core, and microSD, it would definitely blow the iPad2 out of the water and iPad3 isn't due until 2013 so they would have a couple of years grace and time up their sleeves to blow the iPad3 away as well.

Go ahead and annoy. I like it.

I really like the ui and widgets, i say we keep an eye on this one!
"Enter the Coolpad N930. This new Android 2.1 powered handset features a 3.5 inch ASV capacitive LCD display (800 x 480), 1GHz processor, ceramic buttons, and a titanium shell. Android purists will most likely scoff at yet another custom UI, but it looks like owners of the Coolpad N930 are in for a treat. The handset’s custom UI treatment appears to offer a total of twelve home screen panels, an application dock, and some pretty elegant widgets.
No word on pricing or availability, but we’re hearing that Coolpad will be releasing more details on the N930 during the P&T / Expo Comm China in October. I’m sure most of you are probably going to stick to that EVO 4G or Galaxy S that you picked up last month, but I’m pretty sure a handful of you might actually consider importing the Coolpad N930 from your favorite cellphone import shop."
Is that TAT Home Cascades being used on the music widget?!
Oh wait, China.. could be stolen idea's.
Waiting for a dump, this is the first device with TAT Home?

Dell Streak 7 knock-off with phone & gingerbread

knockoffs are often meant to be downgrades from the true deal. In terms of Dell’s Streak 7 tablet, its KIRF version actually has just a few advantages over the genuine deal — it might make phone calls, has an even bigger (3000mAh) battery, comes preloaded with Android 2.3, runs at 1.2GHz, and happens to be cheaper at slightly below $180 unsubsidized. Obviously, its 7-inch WVGA screen depends on resistive technology for touch input, it only has one core, and there is no evidence of this Gingerbread installation actually running, but are you actually gonna let such trifling details stand on your way? Hit the source link to get an eyefull of this Welldone tabletphone mashup — it could not be real, but it’s definitely red!

I would definitely get this if it didn't have the resistive touch screen.

I would !!!
Yeah a nice utopic idea, but with the current technology you might as well grab a brick to your ear. The battery would have to be huge, I know the full HD recording sucks battery like crazy and just look at how thick the Samsung camera is. Now imagine this with a 5.5 inch screen and you'll see how that would not work,
I would already love if the camera could also be used as a phone. That way I would probably get the Note 2 and my wife would keep the Camera, as she loves taking pictures of everything. Too bad it's just a fancy camera with Android on it, and only time will tell if it is worth it.
Samsung should allow simcards to be put in the Galaxy Camera like what they did in their Samsung W880 (http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_sch_w880_amoled_12m-review-398.php).
I'm certain if they did this, the Galaxy Cam would be the most serious rival to the new iphone as the hype is already here for the Galaxy Cam! They would only need to advertise it as a smartphone camera shooter like what Nokia did with their 41mpx pureview.
I think the Camera is a great idea - if the next generation really improves the quality of the sensor it would be almost perfect for everyday photography.

Google Pixel Trounced Apple's iPhone Over the Holiday Weekend

Personally I realized why Google held back sales and deliveries for November 21-23 to 28th now.. Imho to deliberatly elevate sales/activation numbers artificially for this date..

Lol, now that's how you put a positive twist on a small number (actual phones sold). They are on pace to sell what, 3m by the end of the year, where Apple sold 45m iPhones just in the last quarter? Love the enthusiasm, but its a very sensational headline.

Considering Apple has had about 9 years to build up the iPhone brand, I think it's a good number for the Pixel now that it's just starting out.

im sure oneplus 3 owners said the same, then BAM... there was the T model less than 6 months later. never say never in the tech world. with the snapdragon 835 incoming google will for sure want to step it up somehow.
I would hope they don't rush this time and plan it out and come out with a better phone. 2017 and no waterproofing is crazy. Also I'm sick of these metal/glass "premium" phones. I beat the hell out of my GS5 for 3 years. It was always in a case but no screen protector. It's been soaking wet, covered is dirt/dust, dropped, etc.. there is NOTHING wrong with it. Not a single mark/scratch/dent. I have a screen protector and case on my pixel and I'm still scared as hell to drop it and have to worry about it for however long I keep it. It definitely will not hold up as good
