change background in menu like pocket facelift?

hello,
i was just wondering if there is no such a program where i can change the background in the menus like pocket facelift? i mean the background behind the icons.... not the theme.

XDA-Developers Theme w/Cooked TMO 4.01.16 Menu font color

This petty annoyance has been bugging me for ages. When I use the XDA developers theme with a Cooked TMO 4.01.16 rom the font color for menu items is white.
The lack of contrast between the white letters and tan background makes it unreadable.
Anyone know how to change the font color for the menu items??
I know its petty but...

PS Can we nominate LumpiStephan & Makis for Sainthood?
This has been bugging me too. There may be a registry entry somewhere that we can change. I once restored the entire registry to it's original state (WM2003 default theme), and although the background was not changed to the WM03 default theme, the menu font changed from white to black. It makes me think that whatever registry entry was changed wasn't just pointing to a different .TSK file, but actually changed parameters of the theme (namely the font color). Anyone have any more information on this?
Shawn
I don´t have more informations, about this bug. But it´s the same for the German 4.01.19 ROM....

registry settings for the start menu font
Basically, what I've done is go in to the hklm/software/MS/color and set the key name of 39 ff ff ff ff
and there you go. the start menu color is now black

You can use the TKCreater found at http://www.funnysnake.com/. This allows you to change various parameters for your theme... very useful..
That's pure genius
Thanks for the fix.
hklm/software/MS/color then insert the key name of 39 ff ff ff ff
Worked perfectly for me.
I used PHM Registry editor to insert that setting without trouble.
TKCreater looks like a usefull application too
Thanks

Font colour lost - help please!!

Hi,
I recently had to do a hard reset and having re-installed various cabs and teaked TF3D, I noticed that the font colour under "Settings" "Sound" and "Settings" "Data" are no longer visible - i.e. the font isnow white on a white background
I have attached two shots of what I mean ...
I have trawled through threads and cannot find an easy solution ... would be grateful for any pointers.
Thanks

Easy solution would be to use a darker wallpaper

thank you for that - I have the HTC Black wallpaper on all screens except certain sub-screens - e.g. "Music" is black but "Music" "Library" is white (but with black font so not a problem here) and although the same applies to the "Settings" tab which is black, "Settings" "Sound" and "Settings" "Data" are white but the font is white too - baffled but hoping to find a solution ... been reading about changing font colours in manilla files but there are so many and without knowing which one to edit, it would be almost impossible to find
Sorry I don't have the answer (I have been looking for this myself).
I thought the font going white problem was to do with installing one CAB (possibly the +call history, +comm manager, + calendar one). I think the white font on the new comm manager changes the font colour for various other things too - might be wrong on this
I had fixed it once, had to hard reset, and broke it again. I can't find it in search, but this might prompt some memories or let you search it.
edit:
I have found the post
Solution thanks to NisseDILLIGAF

I think the grey font works on both, you might need to edit the colour manually though if you can't see it

[REQ] Change Manila TouchFlo3D Highlight color? How?

How can I change the manila touchflo3d highlight color?
Thanks,
Its not mine, just sharing it with you.
Its GREY, have a look how does it look.
Regards
Sid
That's great.
But just a question: the ball with the 6 ... the notification of new sms is still green?
It means that this cab change only the highlight and not the notification ones?
Yes it change only the highlight colour.
Have a look at drsquid's fantastic work over here. The CABs change nearly everything (the only remaining green I found is the one when you plug in the USB cable).
Edit: Just found that editing /windows/HTCUSBToPCPopUp.png gives me a completely green free phone. Nice!
how to get the focus colors actually in place!?
Hi - newbie here!
I have installed several of the highlight-color-change cabs but nothing has changed!
The cabs have run and installed but I've still got the nasty green color highlight.
There's obviously a simple extra step that I'm not aware of - can you help me further?
(Diamond 1 with Touchflo 3D)
Thanks!
Rob

[Q] System FONT COLOR?

First of all i apologize if this is in the wrong section, i was unsure which area was the best appropriate.
I am hoping someone has or can make a .CAB to change the color of the system font? Or if not this a Registry change?
I am stuck to using dark backgrounds just so the default white font color will display. If i (or anyone) tries to use a white or light colored background the white text literally disappears and you cannot read it.
Thank you.
bump....anyone
anyone......anyone at all?

This is set using the .tsk (task) file. You might need to build your own task file to get the colors right.
EDIT: Sorry, that is the "theme" file extension. There are many available on the Net.
