I recently say a you tube vid of someone playing android games on a big screen hd tv, with the atrix, my question is how do I do this? I have searched high and low but dont see how, my android just displays a motorola logo on my tv when I hook up the hdmi...
Its called hdmi mirroring. Both greyblur and gingerblur have this feature, if I remember correctly. But I believe it only works in portrait, not landscape.

Tried this just now with Gblur. Used webtop mode and played a game, okay a few games, of Angry Birds on the tv. It does work in ladscape. Double tap and hold to pull the bird back. Just awesome. I did not try the hdmi mirroring. Maybe later..

I purchased this today. I have been a HUGE fan of the LD games since the arcade days (remember those places?) and I must say that I was floored at the quality on the Play. Man, pocket DL...the *real* DL (not those side scrolling GBA remakes!)
I hope Digital Leisure brings more of these to the plate. This is just fantastic! I wish even more now that the Play had HDMI out!
Dragons Lair is cool on the play. There was talk of Space Ace for Android in the spring

Yes I have that as well. It brings back happy memories of the vast amount of tokens I dropped in that machine when it first appeared in the arcades.

I got the hdmi dock for the original 7" galaxy tab,
Cut the ends so it fits the 7.7,
Hooked it up and picture came out fine but have 2 issues,
Screen gets locked in horizontal position and stays locked even after I disconnect from the dock, restarting is the only way to fix the issue,
2nd I can only mirror the display so screen stays on if I am playing back any media,
Is there anyway to switch the screen on the tab off,
So I only have the video output on the tv???

Missed out some info,
Once docked screen is locked in horizontal position,
If I playback a movie it plays in landscape,
But once removed from dock screen is locked in horizontal position and restarting is the only way to fix it...
You can try 'rotation locker' app, from play store. In Motorola Droid3 it works well, preventing automated landscape to portrait changes.

is there a app which switches the screen off on the tab,
so i only have video out on the tv...
Stuck the official Polish on last night (KOT49H.N9005XXUENA6).
All is well except video playback with the video app. The videos are played in a small square in the middle of the screen. Seems to be the same for a linked facebook vid and one played off storage on the device. No settings option available. Other video apps like youtube play in full screen just fine.

Are you opening the videos from inside the video app(stock) or from another app? e.g file explorer

Just noticed mine was the same, but it was because the default view was "List" - I changed it to "Thumbnail" and they animated again.

Here is my setup: Android nougat stable, exkernel with cpu clocked to 2499 and gpu at 918. Got the Taskbar app, freeform window mode in enabled, a chromecast (Though I might get a mhl cabable). Got an otg cable along with a usb hub and mouse/keyboard in the mail rn. Tv is 32" 1080p. Let me just say second screen completely blows andromium or any other cast app I've tried out of the water. There is a slight lag but it's surprisingly really low. Check out the photo I took

You just saved me from wasting my money. I just assumed it would be supported because for it not to be is the most lazy ridiculous crap I've encountered from a Google product. Now I'm disappointed
@tdct12 I highly recommend you try underclocking it(cpu). The performance is actually better for me, even in benchmarks. Try it!
Hi, i got a graphic glitch, sometimes when i watch video on youtube (youtube application) or when i watch small animation on twitter (embedded videos inside twitts). It's not each time, it's sometime, i cant get to know what is producing it. I did a screenshot of the issue i encounter, i want to ask you if anybody ever encounter the same glitch on the S4, or another phone as well? Any idea what's coming from?

same with me its funny how nobody has a fix for this problem or even bothers to help out google is bad and will always be bad unfortunately
