com.android problem - Blade General

I have got a pop up message "Sorry -The process com.android phone has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." This pop up will not go away at all it appears straight after I press force close. This means I can not access any of the setting on the phone. I believe my SD may be corrupt, as when I try to system restore it just goes to reboot.
I have tried several things like trying to reinstall clockworkmod so I can get to the system restore but the phone just keeps jumping to the boot screen.
I have read in other threads about similar problems and use md5sum to check if I have the correct versions to install. I believe that many if not all data on SD is missing or corrupt. My phone is a brick and I dont have a clue where to start.
I have a orange San Francisco which was running japanese jellyfish 2.2.
All help gratefully welcome
Basically is there any way to wipe my SD card then install what I need onto it, then place into the phone to access the phones system restore to then reinstall every thing or at least access the phone to reset it.

Try put in another SD and see what happens.

i have a sim problem with app rootexplorer

My phone keeps rebooting with SD card inside

Can someone help me, my phone keeps rebooting, I'm on Villain ROM12 with Apps2SD, my phone caught some bugs, and it wouldn't vibrate with messages yada, yada, so I thought I'll just wipe phone + data, Dalvik Cache on AmonRA recovery mode, but after I did, when I rebooted my phone, the reboot screen keeps repeating itself, but when I take the memory card out and reboot, it starts up straight away, what should I do?
Please help.
Thanks

Please back up everything on sd to computer, and then use amonra recovery to reformat it completely.
Then do a full wipe and flash, and copy the essential files from your sd backup back on. Now reboot, check it's still ok, and then add your apps etc via something like titanium backup (the data for which was on sd, but was copied across with essential stuff)
Then reboot, and finally copy rest of your data across. If this works, you're sorted. If at any step it won't boot, just restart the process and don't restore that data.
Sd cards sometimes need a clear out.

Root and Lag Fix Problem

Ok, so I rooted my phone yesterday via "one-click root" and worked like a charm. I deleted alot of bloatware and used info in a thread here in the forums as far as what to remove (Kindle, MobiTV, Amazon Mp3, etc But I also wanted to do a lag fix. I came across a guy that had a lag fix that I wouldn't have to use a pc for that was just a update.zip file that I would install. I followed his YouTube video step by step and had NO problem all the way up until I rebooted my phone. When I did so, my boot animation disappeared and my phone went BLACK! I contacted him and he had me clear user data and sd files and clear cache from the recovery screen. Now when I try and start my phone everything boots up but when I get to my homescreen I can't stop getting Force Closes and this is what the messages say:
----------
Sorry!
The process android.process.media has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. dumpstate_app_201008310134_android_process_media.log has been saved. Use *#9900# to copy out log.
----------
AND when I try to open the Web it says:
----------
Sorry!
The application Web (processcom.android.browser) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. dumpstate_app_201008310147_com_android_browser.log has been saved. Use *#9900# to copy out log.
----------
And same for Gmail App when I try to open it.
And they won't stop popping up. Barely long enough for me to open ANY apps.
I don't know much about rooting yet but I know I probably need to re-install firmware or something that includes ALL the bloatware including the apps I removed with my Root Manager. I just need advice or a solution or something because its deffinatly making me mad!
Thanks for all your help!
Kyle
i had that exact same thing happen to me, but that was when i tried to revert back to non-lag fix. something errored out during the uninstall and i got exactly what you got, a ton of fc's. my solution was i flashed my phone back to factor stock using odin.
probably other solutions, but i chose the cleanest route, maybe not quickest.
Not sure if you would have enough time but you could try Fix Permissions on the Rom Manager app if you have it. If not you could try ADB pushing the APK and maybe you could open it before all the FC's. I have had that help before, but like said above quickest and easiest will just be to start over. Apply the lag fix first this time (you were probably already thinking this ) they seem to work better that way without any of these problems. For me at least
I have no idea where to start! I am brand new to this rooting stuff so I am LOST! REALLY lost! What is the first step for me? Do you know of anyone who can walk me through this?
It appears that more than one lag fix was applied. Start from a clean rom and start again.

Sorry! The process android.process.media has stopped unexpectedly. please try again?

So I tried to use the Windows phone android launcher that just came out, I made the mistake of setting it as my default launcher then a black screen comes up and I can't exit out of it, it says something similar to my title (windows phone android has stopped unexpectedly or something like that. I pull out the battery and remove the SD card and it still says it! at this point I'm pretty bummed cause I knew I ruined my second fascinate and I'm not in the return period anymore on this one so i have no choice but to fix my phone with your help...It doesn't end here, I factory reset it from the volume up/down/power/home button press, boot it up, then I get the force close issue! (had this problem on my last fascinate.) at this point I think I'm screwed, I try ODIN to restore back to stock, so I download ODIN, and drivers, and download The ODIN restore file for kernel try it in download mode, still nothing...so I download the recovery one, nothing... at this point I try to squeeze into my SD card even with the force close issue popping up literally every two seconds. I just delete alot of random things off my sd card, hoping it will fix it. nothing. I REMOVE my sd card from the phone, seems to work fine until I try to sync my gmail to it, FORCE CLOSE.... I'm not sure if it will make a difference but im currently downloading and will try the ODIN restore file for system. help is needed, I am a noob
one the file isn't in your sd its on the phone in the data/app folder. your going to have to get into adb and remover the file manully. also since your so far into this there is a new odin file in the development section that has EVERYTHING in one package just go ahead and do that to. when you can make it back into clockwork clear everything as well to make sure

[HELP] Applications lost??

Hi, I've a question here. Last night because I tried to remove and reinstall the Maps, but failed. It said I'm lucky (You know what i mean). I reflash and reset everything. But this morning I turned in safe mode, i can see the words safe mode on the left bottom corner. And apps all gone in applications. But in sd card still remain everything. Never mind, i just restart the phone and they all come back. This afternoon, some FC come out. I reflash and start all over again. This time it does't go to safe mode. But still when I'll installing the apps, some of them gone again, and come back after restart. What's the problem?? I use only lagfix K11b-500hz and fixed to ext4 and rooted. Can anyone give me some answers? Thanks.
Could it because i moved the apps to sd card and when external sd card was unexpectedly removed they'll gone for a while??

[Q] download unsuccessful

This problem has been bugging me for a while and i wondered if anybody could help me.
A little while ago i rooted my x8 2.1 and installed xrecovery. I backed up everything with xrecovery. A problem later arose with my phone so i did an advanced restore of a the data on my phone with xrecovery and now when downloading anything from the market, i get a download unsuccessful error.
Ive tried clearing the cache or various apps, (market, google aps, browser etc.)
Nothing works, i would like to avoid a factory restore if i can.
Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks
From my point of view , it has norhing to do with the restore and the other...
Check some other thinks...
-Try downloading from an other network to be sure that its your phone's problem.
-Check your phone and sd card free space...(no space to download)
-Check if you have the latest version of the market.
Thanks, ill check those later and get back to you, but im sure it cant be the network because it happens when im connected to wifi aswell
if ur problem is.. market just "starting downloading " so.. do this..
dont know wats wrong,, but i try to reinstall the market,,
download it from here use root explorer to delete the original, and replace with this,, try restating your phone after done... and try again..
its work on me..
Thanks, if that doesnt work il get back to you
It didnt work!
when ever i click an app to download, it waits for about 20 seconds then on the notification bar it pops up with Download unsuccessful
