Why angrybird lag on o1 - Optimus One, P500, V Themes and Apps

Why even at 784 overclocking it lag on stok rom .while work smooth on galaxy fit at 600 mhz
Sent from my LG-P500 using XDA Premium App

I have CM 7 beta 6.4 From Mik, Francos Kernel v15, overclocked at 768 and in some levels i have lags too. Or for a few second on the begening in some level. Quadrant test about 1300, linpack about 9 MFLOPS, Neocore about 57 FPS.

Probably because of lower resolution

It is not resoution as galaxy fit has only 240-320 resolution.i think lg is not make good rom for this use poor quality hardware

My angry birds is pretty smooth after I give it like 2 seconds to load. You should get off the stock Rom and flash like cm 7. It's so much better.

Thats exactly what he means... it lags on Lg O1 because it has a higher resolution and doesn't lag on Galaxy Fit as it has a lower resolution, higher resolution means more processing power required... is what he is trying to say..

But cm7 rom was camara fm bug and other so i want to loose them and also eat battery
Sent from my LG-P500 using XDA Premium App

Nov in CM 7 Camera works fine and with Francos Kernel it eat 1% battery per night

try chainfire3D

Have you tried to enable jit and hw acceleration?
They improved a lot the performance in my O1.

Somebody confirm this.

Its reported to work on our device even though we don't have the required 1GHZ Proces.

Haha really? I guess I tried it a few times with some thd games with no successes. and I can only confirm that chainfire does work on our phone because it allows us to change the texture size etc. Other than that, I doubt that the nvidia, qualcomm or powerv plugins actually work.

tried on devoid.franco, but got kernel panics

I had lots of lag when it was stored on my SD card. Moved to internal storage made it much better.
When I upgraded to class 10 card I could move it back, but it still lags a tiny amount on certain levels, but is mostly fine.

[Q] Choppiness on notification pulldown

any way to make it smoother like it was on 6.1 ? it was bugging me since cm7 was released.
its MUCH smoother with latest kernel.

If you want cm7 i prefer for you for now #18 release. It is working on old kernel but IT WORK... I'm using this release but i flashed kernel 4.1 you should too. The new kernel is amazing fast and smooth but is still bootloop and we must weit.

i dont have a flashable version of it, but it's included in the latest nightlies (but be careful, if you dont follow instructions in the thread you may bootloop - nightly #25 seems to be your best bet)
i dont think choppiness went away with #21 and later. im using smartass governor and still pretty laggy. not close to cm6 or sense pulldowns. i wonder if other devices with cm7 has this issue?

well its waaaay smoother than before for me, i dunno why its choppy for you.
ive watched some videos on youtube with other devices pulldowns on cm7 and only wildfire seems to have this problem. maybe its related to lack of gpu or armv6 cpu i dont know.

can you take a quick video of your pulldown animation if you have a camera i really doubt its smooth as i think.

Sorry its sort of big for like 30 seconds but i recorded with my ipod nano, and considering that its a VGA recording of a QVGA screen and that the point of it is the smoothness, i didn't want to sacrifice quality any more.
yea its slightly better on your device can you tell me your performance settings and cpu speeds?

JIT on, surface dithering on..
cpu is at 691/264 smartass, although i get the same smoothness on 518/264 ondemand as well. BTW, its actually a little smoother than it is in the video.

I'll try it when i have downloaded data.
Edit:
game version: 1.0
Rom: miui 2.1.13 by ret4rt .35 kernel
Cpu: 1.4ghz conservative
Chainfire: No
Result: took 7mins to load first mission. After that, while ingame i faced lots of fps drop. Game runs with lag. If someone has latest cm, please test. Cm7 has better quadrant.
Edit 2:
game version: 1.0
Rom: miui 2.1.13 by ret4rt .35 kernel
Cpu: 1.2ghz performance
Chainfire: yes, no plugin, 16bit textures on
Result: First load took about 3 mins, game seemed to run perfectly in the beginning, so no lag this time

I think cm7 might do better. Try it yourself Maybe it will run. If it wont, update to official 2.3.5 beta1 and then to cm7 or miui. It has its risks, but its worth it. better cam, and most importantly BETTER 3D

Hi, i have edited the build.prop file, trying different stuff that came up with google. No luck.
The market does recognize my phone as Desire HD, but it still does not allow me to install it.
Is there a tutorial somewhere that i can use to verify changes?

Hello,
I have the MC3-v1.1.0...it works very well...no problems!!!(flight mode= so there are no crashes!!)
u8800..ICS 4.0.3- v2.02

How to improve those Aspects to get a better score..?
Ps:1:no overclocking done and wont do..!

Only things you can really do without changing roms / kernel is over clock. You could probably get a better class sd card but don't think that would make a huge difference on performance score.

Don't forget to install setcpu after flashing the rom. My recommendations:
Min 200mhz max 600 for great battery life but slow phone
Min 200 or 300mhz max 800 for average performance
Min 300mhz max 1ghz for good performance and so-so battery life
My phone works stable even on 1.1 and 1.2 ghz but then I get big battery drain.
Another tip: default phone dialer is very slow/laggy. I use exDialer from playstore instead

Battery will drain faster, phone will be warmer. Some CPU's can't handle 1GHz so your phone may lag and you will have to change to a non-oc kernel.
