INSTALLATION GUIDE
1) START HERE IF YOU JUST BOUGHT THE PHONE:
- Download and install usb drivers for your phone: http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Ap...&SC=EMEA_27
- Flash a recent bin (I suggest the 39 'cause it has an updated baseband); you can download it from here: http://tinyurl.com/34tq4yp; somone else suggests the 09... you can download it from here: http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/OS...amp;SC=EMEA_17)
- Afer following the instructions you'll have an up to date bin.
2) START HERE IF YOU'VE GOT AN UPDATED ROM BUT WITHOUT MALEZ RECOVERY
- It's time to install the malez recovery
- If you didn't, install your USB drivers now...: http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Ap...&SC=EMEA_27
- Download the malez recovery 0.5.4: http://www.multiupload.com/402AVV1SI9
- unzip the archive and click install-recevery-windows.bat while your phone is ON
- Your phone will reboot several times during this process
3) START HERE IF YOU'VE GOT AN UPDATED ROM AND THE MALEZ RECOVERY
- Almost done...
- Download ROM LS 2.1 (you'll find the links below)
- Connect your phone to the computer, activate the date-exchange by usb (once you've plugged in your phone a notification will appear, tap it)
- Copy the downloaded file in the main directory of your SD Card (Without extracting it) [Please Note: You've to copy this file in the MAIN DIRECTORY not in a sub-folder]
- Reboot your phone in recovery mode (If you did pass trought 'point 2', you'll find, in the malez recovery's pack, the file "reboot to recovery.bat" doubleclick it with your phone plugged in by usb, if you didn't, well, its better to download it from the point 2 or from this link if you're to lazy to scroll the page up: http://www.multiupload.com/402AVV1SI9 .
- Once you're on recovery's main screen you'll have to move through its menu by Volume UP/Volume Down buttons
- Go to "Flash/Test menu" and press the MENU button (the last touch button of your acer liquid, the one with three stripes)
- Press Menu once more
- Go to SDCARD:LS2.1 and press MENU
- press HOME (bottom left) and wait for the process to end
- Once this installation ends press BACK (the "<" button) to go back to the main menu, then press MENU to reboot your phone.
- If you want to delete added aps (the ones in /data) and to have a clean ROM it's the moment to do a "Wipe Data Factory", obviously the widgets of the removed apps won't work and you'll have to delete them from your home. I suggest to keep them cause they're very useful.
4) START HERE IF YOU ALREADY INSTALLED THE ROM LS
- Congratulations!
- The first boot will last a bit more than the usual, don't worry.
- Once you're phone is on, select your language and follow the setting wizard
- Once the wizard finised go to the apps menu and open LSsettings
- Here you can set the touchscreen sensitivity and many other things
- If you'd like to install the theme pack or an OC kernel (if you don't know what an oc kernel is don't install it, you don't need to); you'll find links below; every pack has got a README file explaining how to install it
- Tip: select HTC_IME keyboard by holding a textbox
- Once you've set the ROM reboot your phone.
- Now The ROM LS is installed and ready to use! Have Fun!
NOTES
- Once you've turned on your phone, tap the taskmanager widget to end every app you dont need
- Don't WIPE your phone after the installation or you'll lose every added app. If you accidently wipe it, simply re-flash this ROM.
- App + Data on SD may causes really problems to the system. Please, choose app on SD only

I faced with one small but very distressing problem. During typing SMS message I pushed Erase button several times and quickly. As result - a message receved by itself unfinished.(It happened again when I tested if i was wrong)
I newer saw this problem in LS 2.0. What's wrong with this one?

themes apps overclocking.... everything sounds perfect
the only problem i am having is with launcher pro ! i have the app for the plus version and i cant install it with astro or any other file manager !
any solution for this

you use the unlock launcher pro plus from the preferences
if your trying to use an older version that you downloaded then not much i can do to help with that

meaning that if you didnt pay for it you wont be able to unlock it?
that is not a bug and if your trying to get the pro version for free - that is why the app maker changed the way the pro version works and is no longer a seperate apk
so you cant steal pro anymore
pay for it or stop whining - its not a bug

i already paid for the app and i have a backup of the paid apk... thats why i want to use it and not pay for it again ... hope u can understand that

Hi there, first thanks Lainsuxeian for the amazing rom, speedy and beautiful.
Now question - for member here, does this rom has swipe as in slide your finger on keyboard to type a word? cause I can't seem to activate it.
Question 2 - Does the voice to text work? the icon is in the keyboard. however when i touch it, nothing happend.
Question 3 - Has any1 overclock their phone yet? which 1 is best in your opinion, stability? 880? 920? or 998? ....since they lainsuxian post 3 option, that's suppose to work, i'm still a litto affraid so i am asking every1 in here to see how their is doing, about 5 vote is good, thank you very much

This is it. Continuum v3 is here.
There are many things that I'm working on but this is what I'm able to give you right now. The ROM is stable and fast.
It was rebuild from scratch on JS7 base. All mods were implemented clean to the new framework and no files were modified than the ones that needed modifications for adding extra features.
The themed version comes with my beloved Sensation. I hope you'll like it.
I take, however, requests for other themes. I do not want foreign frameworks in my ROM!! They create problems including battery drain. So I will rebuild those themes on my framework.
This release focuses on battery life so a lot of parts have been tweaked to help achieve the best results
This version as well uses undervolting! If you know your phone doesnt like it or you wanna be safe, using 7zip, open the ROM,s zip, go to system/etc/init.d and remove S_volt_schedulerthan you may flash the ROM .

install this extension
restart firefox and click on the download link.The download dialog will appear, from the list of options, select DownThemAll! Chose a folder where you want to download and hit Start!
*Tip: for faster download, in Firefox go to Tools - DownThemAll Tools - Preferences - Advanced - Advanced download control and set Max. number of segments per download to 10 and hit OK.
This is a download accelerator so please do not try to use it with hosting sites like rapidshare and megaupload, it will not work. The only one I know it works is mediafire.
Instructions for making your own battery mod / custom icons set on UOT kitchen:
Extract framework-res.apk from the downloaded ROM (themed or unthemed, they will both work) or from the addons which are marked as UOT
Go to UOT kitchen
Chose what the type of battery you want. Play through the options and choose the one that suits you
If you chose SCB with %, Version Z, Custom type, colors, the next step is for customizing the types and colors. As well, is your choice.
If you chose SCB with %, Version [A-O](that O might change in the future) there will be a step to chose the type.
After this click next.
Now you will have an option to chose if you want to customize Icon types. This will change your notification icons, if you want to change them then select themed icons set, if not just click next.
Next step is to personalize the notification bar. You cannot use this function as the notification bar in Samsung ROMs is contained in twframework-res and UOT kitchen cannot process that file. So dont change any value and click next.
Now you may choose a custom boot animation. My ROM already comes with a custom bootanimation but if you wish to change it, I cannot stop you. So, if you want to change it, select from the dropdown menu /system/media/ (Cyanogen based ROMs) and then chose the boot animation that you wish and click next.
Now you will be able to chose a set of custom windows animations. It is fully compatible with this ROM so you can chose the one you like. You can preview them in the left after selecting. Click next when you finish
Here you upload the framework-res file that you extracted from the ROM archive. Click on first option of choose file and browse to the place you have framework-res.apk. Chose it and click next.
Now it will upload it to UOT server for processing.
You have to wait for the cooking to finish and you will be given a zip named UOT********.zip
Download that zip, put it on your sdcard and install it from recovery
You're done. You just customized the look of your phone by yourself. Good job, I bet it looks awesome

During installation there will be copied few files on your internal sdcard:
Titanium backup of themed launcher pro - be aware that this will rewrite an existing backup of Launcher Pro
Titanium backup of fancy widget
Sense dock and a blank icon in a folder called Sensation_content
After installation, go to TitaniumBackup and restore (App+Data) LauncherPro and FancyWidget
Hit then Home button and you will be presented with an option to chose your home screen.
com.sec.android.app.twlauncher is themed TouchWizLauncher
LauncherPro.. well, is the themed LauncherPro
Select Launcher Pro, long press the screen and add Fancy widget to your home screen. If the weather icons do not appear, make sure you have network location enabled. The widget needs to know the location for which the weather should be shown.

This is a wipe release, backup your apps with TiBu. And, yes, is fully compatible with UOT kitchen.

I guess what I should of asked is do I need to go back to stock Eclair 2.1 as per the general instructions for installing a ROM? Or can I just use clockwork recovery.

Not necessary. If you are running a 2.2.1 ROM currently, you dont have to.
I didnt go to stock for a month now and I flashed god knows how many times.

-Transition animations may not work on builds not produced by CyanogenMod Team[default left unchanged].
-May not work with builds not produced by the CyanogenMod Team.
-Problems often emerge when used with "typhoon" builds, none that are serious have been reported, however parts of the theme have not been applied.
-For some users, using Rom Manager's "Fix Permissions" may solve issues involving FC's or "invisible windows" (none have been reported)

-Lockscreen is not CM lockscreen it is Widgetlocker[$]

Theme Installation:

Boot Animation Installation:
[tip: use R/W permissions in your file explorer]
2)Use a root-file-explorer(I use "Root Explorer" but something like "ES File Explorer" will be fine) to go to "/system/media/" and rename "bootanimation.zip" to "oldbootanimation.zip"
3)Copy "bootanimtion.zip" from where ever you downloaded it to(likely the folder "download" on SD Card) to "/system/media/"
4)Reboot phone to make sure it worked.
Screen Transition Installation:
2)Copy "fold_MM.zip" to folder "AndroidThemes" on SD Card.
3)Go "App Drawer=>MetaMorph"
4)Select "Unzip/Extract new theme"

1) are you rooted?
2) clockworkmod is a Recovery...which is only available to those who are rooted
3) go find out(from someone else) what the word "flashing" means when it comes to android
4)flash "old scripting" first... if it fails then you need the regular file.
5)DONT FORGET TO BACKUP!!!!!
in any case if you dont know what something I said means, then GOOGLE IT.

How do I get the keyboard to work on my phone? I tried flashing it, but it sent me back to the stock CM7 settings and didnt have the keyboard anywhere

I know the regulars hear me mentioning a possible merger.
Official word spoken now.
AtomicFusion will no longer be developed as i have thought long and hard about this, fact is that KH3 has be by far superior on everything.
And only having one device and no interest in running both roms back and forth I have
decided that the best thing to do is merge both projects into one.
Feeling like i need to get back to my roots here i will continue to Develop KH3
on the formerly known Nuclear thread ... and as part of the change the Rom Name is following suit...
From Now On It will Be referred To as "Fusion II"
Leaving me and you with only two bases (froyo KB1 Fusion) and (Gingerbread KH3 Fusion II)
I have spent long hours modding the incorrect frameworks and miss matching files...
Very frustrating to say the least, so the idea behind this merger is to make it easier for me to develop a quality rom that lives up to the TeamPhoenix standards and you the users standards.
I have cleaned my working folders and have pulled a fully functioning Factory.rfs from my device.
and before i start dishing out mods i need to make sure that every body is on the same page and has matching firmware on their device.
Trust me its been very hard on the KH3 build so far between Ruger and I, because what was working on my phone did not on his and visa-versa.
I admit it was my bad for working in a rush when we started and not taking the time to categorize the files properly. Sorry all.

Installation Steps:
Download Atomic Fusion 1.0 odin and current AtomicFusion zip
Backup your stuff, by whichever means you normally do.
Please factory reset and wipe/clear all you can before Odin flash. And see post #3 for known issues and the fix needed for now.
Install the proper drivers for your device and operating system.
Run "AtomicFusion 1.0 Odin" in order to get the proper bootloaders. If you already have the I897 GB bootloaders you can skip this step. If you paused to ask yourself, then YOU DO NEED TO START HERE
Place your phone in download mode and wait for odin to "com" your phone. You may have to wait for drivers to be installed. Once you see "com" in odin, press start.
Once odin has finished and your phone has completely rebooted, copy Atomic Fusion 1.5 to your INTERNAL sdcard
Reboot into recovery and select "Install zip from sdcard".
Select choose zip from sdcard
Scroll to the Atomic Fusion *currentversion* and select
Once the install has completed select "go back" then "reboot"
Wait a few minutes and proceed to slowly restore your apps. If you backed up your apps with TiBu, do not restore data, just the apk's

Glad I was the first guinea pig for this last night. People, if after using Odin and you see the android guy with a yellow triangle and exclamation inside, just:
1) Pull battery and power back on. (should take you to recovery)
2) From recovery perform a factory reset/wipe data, wipe cache, wipe dalvik.
3) Reboot system from CWM and it will boot right up with the Galaxy S boot screen.

Just had a weird issue with my phone not getting signal for a brief minute. It went away, by itself. This happened at home where I normally get three bars all around the house

Can this be flashed from Stock Eclair(Stock Bootloaders)?
Or, it needs to have Captivate GB Bootloaders 1st?

Speaking of bootloaders, I notice in the ODIN pic that it flashed the sbl.bin but it doesn't show the boot.bin. Isn't that the secondary bootloader without the primary? I'm a bit noob-ish, so I have to ask. I get nervous if I don't see both, knowing bootloader mishaps are a surefire hardbrick.

The Sense 3 Version available from TSN and Rom Manager.
First boot takes a super long time, after wiping the Dalvik cache, it has to rebuild it, and at reboot is where it happens.
This is a deodexed ROM now so the cache files build as your use of the device develops. T His means you will have faster reboots the longer you use the device but on the flip side you will have a lengthy booting process on first boot.
After rebooting let it sit for about five to ten minutes.
Walk away and grab a coffee cause your gonna wanna stay up and play with your newly MODDed ThunderStick all night...
(to install ThunderStick Notifier you can just hook up your phone with USB and answer yes to install TSN. If you answered no previously go to Window Explorer and open up the Virtual Drive with the ThunderStick Icon, Copy TSNUPDATER.exe to a folder of you choice and run it this will download and install the latest version of TSN)

wow.... that was probably the most beautiful boot animation I ever seen.

I'm running ThunderStick now and I have not had any issues. I have had the phone unplugged for 7 hours and used it moderately and it is still at a 90% charge. Voice and Data connections are flawless.

This rom is Blessed w/RIDICULOUS Speed and Spectacular. I don't think it evens consider OCn..Curiousity is always there though..

ThunderStick Notifier is a windows app that allows you to receive the latest updates and mods available for your device. It is packaged with the ThunderStick GenII and you will receive the option to install it when you plug in your phone to your PC with USB.
If you opted to not install ThunderStick notifier, all you have to do is plug in your phone and a virtual CD-ROM drive pops up in windows explorer. On this virutal CD drive you will find an EXE file named TSNUPDATER.exe. Put this in any folder on your PC and run it. It will download and install the latest version of TSN. On this virutal drive you will also find USB drivers for your phone and the VZW Media Manager if you like that Run the TL-Bootstrap.exe to install VZW Media Manager.
This feature sets a new Bar for the ROMS you normally run on your phone and will make setting up and modding much more user friendly. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Just gave TSN another update, you will get a notification of this soon if you haven't already. This will help resolve problems with ADB installations.
There is now a button that pops up in the lower left corner if your ADB installation is not detected.
This button will let you enter the path to adb, and will let you use adb from the command prompt as well from any folder location. (sets a path environment variable)

Update to 2.1.1 will enable OTA Notifications
You can only update to 2.1.1 if you have a v2.1.0 installed.
Do not do this with any other previous version

Update to 2.2
Woke up to the update symbol. So, without hesitation - off I go into update land. I select the one with the sense 3 (love that lockscreen). Doing this through the ROM Manager.
Stuck at splash screen on reboot.
Tried again - stuck on boot animation.
Battery pull - still stuck at boot animation.
Help.
Was running 2.1.1, only wiped Dalvik
Until this, I was having a great time with your ROM.
