hello so i used a MIUI rom and i really liked it but sense to me beats it in some parts. i really loved the music player is really nice and simple. i did some research and found the MIUI_musicplayer.apk but it does not install in builds like the HD2, i have put the apk in the app folder but doesnt work, i tryed also to install it regulary and no luck. so if anyone knows how to or if any dev can port it, it would be great. im sure other people love this app.

yes because htc and microsoft are having "agreement issues" thats y its on htc windows phones but not android. My wife has an older android phone but its not htc and it got it.

Well thats why im here looking for someone who has uploaded it. My wife's phone has proved to be very stubborn to root or i would have done it already
And i dont believe windows uses apk format

Noob here, and maybe a noob suggestion. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
You said that your wife's phone got to install the apk. Couldn't you use ES File Explorer or something to back up the app and get the apk? I think you don't need root to be able to do that.
If you do manage to get it, I hope you share the apk here too. The Android market doesn't want to play nice with any of my devices when it comes to the Halo Waypoint app.

it appears as if this .apk is only for dual core devices. I just downloaded it to my Transformer w/o problem but it will not run on my Glacier.
To add, the app is also picky with regard to user location. It says not available for your country on my KF.

Its really disappointing that they hype this all over and they release it 8/10 customers cant download and use it. They hype it for months and never say that it couldn't run on single cores. Still trying to figure something out

I haven't had any luck getting the apk. I've heard some have but i don't think anyone has posted so i hope someone does if they have gotten the apk
Finally got it, works well on my Evo 4G using Miks Rom, and my friends stock Evo 3D. Here you go guys, hope it works for you all.

np man. I was going crazy looking for it last night but never found it online. Couldn't wait to get to work today so I can used one of our 30 androids to get the app for me and back it up. lol. I used an LG Ally to pull it and works fine on my Evo.
Works perfectly in Evo Shift 4G w/ official 2.3.3 firmware. Just wish I could move it off to an SD Card!

Unfortunately, I can't find the Tmobile US download link to the file. They only have older versions of it. Can anyone suggest a better rom, or provide me with a download link with the most recent version of the rom I linked to? Thanks.

Wait, what is that even supposed to mean?
It means nobody can truly tell you what from is the best..... devs work hard to make cool stuff for everyone to enjoy. To pick one devs rom and saying "its the best" would be a slap in the face to every other dev..... so its discouraged. All I can say is play till ya stay with a rom that suites ur needs......

I do believe I mispoke. I wasn't asking which one was the best, in that sense (pun intended) I was asking which one best fits the description of my needs. I will edit the OP so that it is less "directed" at offending anyone.
EDIT: I didn't ever call anyone's rom the best, I definitely meant that it was the closest rom I could find that fits my needs.

was not pointing you out , just means I should not tell you what I think is the best so I gave you a site with all the hd2 Rom's listed, you just type sense in search on that page and dig-in
Dungphp's Desire Z and Vivo ROMs are pretty good Sense ROMs. They have little to no graphics glitches, and are generally pretty smooth in usage. The links for the T-mobile versions are down though, but I had posted them up to Mediafire for a few people who wanted them- I can send you the links if interested.

Send away, man. Are they very graphical and aesthetically pleasing? I like roms that have a lot of animation. Also, could you link me to any tweaks and extras that come with the ROMs? I would appreciate that greatly.

Here's the ROM links. I had to split it into two files since Mediafire only allows 200 MB files [but it's fast DL speeds should make up for that].
Thanks a bunch dude. Question though, do I just unzip both parts, combine them in one folder, and then re-zip? Don't want to brick my phone.....

Use HJsplit to get the joined together .zip. Then put that on your SD and flash as usual.

I didn't just flick it. You cannot find beats audio and xLOUD which do not conflict with DSP. I have made the script on my own.
My phone is running cm9 4.04. Can I install the zip..??

I have a great idea.
Create a single thread, and out there you can add what mods, zips, 'bugfixes' you can or want which you have 'modded'.
Rest assured you won;t get a ton of thanks as you have been getting by multiposting and spamming, however you WILL earn the respect of the other users, trust me.

Pretty sure it's for GB only as the original post by Rock said it's for GB only. But hey, no harm in YOU being the first person to test it now is there? Seeing as to how many people are interested in whether it works for cm9.
Just a side note, if you do test it, I'm 99% sure it'll mess your sound up as it's meant for GB. But hey, who knows.

Fortunately, to my surprise and joy, it worked perfectly.
I installed as follows:
1) I formatted the SD card and did a hard reset;
2) I installed RC1 Cyanogem GAPPS-gb-20110828-signed signed_BeatsAudio xLOUD;
3) rebooted the system;
4) I installed pro PowerAmp; 5) The PowerAMp not work, ****!
Point Positive: works with RC1 Cyanogem and Music.
Minus point: Does not work with PowerAmp! and we loose DSP manager.
Even without the PowerAmp the sound quality has improved greatly, and is noticeable in the bass and treble. If you Goggle for Music is enough, use it! It's worth!
Final Thoughts: If you are not a DJ who knows exactly how to create an equalizer optimized for your headset and style of music you are listening to use the "BeatsAudio xLOUD" because despite losing interesting management tools and the best music player the market gain in sound quality.
I'm using this with GTR rom from neko and i haven't found any bug yet

Hi, I'm the developer of the XperiaSense With Sense 3.0. I told to one XDA user that I will make XperiaSense with Sense 2.1. I have some troubles with the PC (still), and it's hard to make the ROM. My last idea is not XperiaSense, but TripleSense. What I mean with this, it will be Sense 2.1 + Sense 3.0 + Sense 3.5. It can take a month if my PC will work (it locks files, but I can't unlock them.). It will be Sense 2.1 launcher (for speed), Sense 3.0 weather, Sense 3.5 music player (Beats, Dolby, SRS) and Sense 2.1 lockscreen. Please tell me if some apps don't works with Sense 2.1, it would be a lot of help for me. The ROM is not maked yet, so you users can write the suggestions for me here, or PM them.
sense 3.x lockscreen, not the sense 2.x one please, or atleast, make a patch for it.
i can help if you really need to... its quite easy:
have a sense 2.1 based ROM
add the files of 2.x lockscreen (or 3.x... PLEASE)
add the files of the 3.0 weather
add the files of the 3.5 music app
all of the files with the apk, and other required files. like the soundfx file for beats and SRS...
see? i know some porting stuff
i just don't have the time to make an actual port

If you know porting stuff, we both can make a ROM. I can bring the base and the apps apps I want to be in the ROM, and you can port sound etc.

The mods are very good, can u make the ''swipe to remove notification'' mod? I will add Sense 4 sound too, especially the volume sound.
EDIT: The file volume-1-7 is not .mp3, but .aac. Tried to replace with old sounds on my Vision, the sound stopped working when I used volume buttons (ringer mode etc.). Tried to remake it to .mp3, still nothing. Any ideas?

i dunno how to impement the swipe feature, i guess i should read the guide again... about the sound problem, try using a file converter to convert from aac to mp3...
btw, what rom are we using as 2.1 base?

I asked Virtuous Team if I can use Virtuous Sense for my* ROM. They said yes. I choosed Virtuous coz they makes best ROMs I ever flashed.

Great idea, but I don't have time tomorrow School takes a lot of time, especially learning German. (I can help german people with their ROM problems). But I have time today, I will add some apps from other Sense versions, sound from Sense 4.0, I will upload it to u in PM. Add wat u think is necessary And.. TripleSense is a weird name, maybe something other?

DSP manager is easier to implement than Beats... i'm with dsp.
i downloaded a kitchen and will start learning development soon... i don't know if we can continue, maybe we can, maybe no... we both don't have time, i have school too. we'll see
