Open ROM Manager, scroll to the bottom and choose All ClockworkMod Recoveries and pick the version you want.
Awesome is the older version required?

I'm not sure if it's required (probably is) but it's definitely recommended for some ROMs. It's easy enough to switch between versions. What is it you're installing?

Sometimes there would be network issues when using ROM Manager to retrieve new version of Clockwork Mod. It prompts "no internet access".
Any suggestion on this issue?

Android already came with auto-rotate. Settings/Display/checked Auto-rotate screen
Yeah that is ticked. But home screen doesn't rotate but most apps do .

Hmmm sounds like something is wrong with your ROM. Try reinstalling it or try a different ROM. My home screen rotates without any problems as long as I have Auto-screen rotate checked in settings.

Hey
rafdroid is based on the desire hd, that home screen doesnt rotate.
if you want home screen rotation you need a desire z based build, or one of the newer sense builds with this feature enabled
Or use a launcher app such as go launcher, adw or launcher pro

If you have Clockwork Mod Recovery installed on your HD2 you can download the zip file straight to your HD2 and then move the zip file to the root of uyour SD card and flash it using CWM. If you used cLK you could use ROM Manager to dowload and in stall a new ROM.

I think dps manager is for Android 2.3.7 an arhd is Android 2.3.4 if your using the ones from the cm7 builds. I believe the energy sense 3.5 Rom has a working dps manager in it you could probably extract the apk from the energy rom zip an try it

That's the old froyo stock desire NAND ROM from DFT, the first NAND ROM for the HD2. You'll need to flash MAGLDR 1.13 (chances are you're on an old version since you have that ROM) followed by CWM (with the correct partition size) and a new ROM. Check the guide in my sig as for how to do this.
As for why it says the device is a desire, the build.prop in that ROM identifies the phone as a desire so that it's compatible with the Play Store.
so i insatalled device manager / htc sync manager and it does not detect my phone. Running windows 7
is there any way i can just go back to stock everything and i can jsut start over?

You don't need HTC Sync manager. If you want to start over from stock, just flash the stock RUU from the bootloader but I don't really see why you would. Personally, I'd just enter the bootloader, flash MAGLDR 1.13, flash CWM in USB Flasher mode in MAGLDR and then flash a new ROM in CWM.
