i upgraded my Niki from WM 6 to 6.1, after that the camera started to show green shadowed pictures, the pictures themselves are the same. Hope that this was a software problem, where somebody could help????

I never heard of that rom, and I suggest to flash another radio, and check if this solves the problem, if not, the rom isn't ok and you have to flash another rom also.
You can find a good radio in the Insomnia thread from d_train, I'm not able to give you the link now (I'm on my mobile phone now) .
If you want another rom in another language just go to shipped-roms.com (just google it, I'm not sure about the name).

I guess you do not need additional programs to the camera, because the rom is already there

Hello All,
I have a problem with my HTCP3300. I have no alarm sounds active (calendar appointments, tasks etc.)
There are some errors giving during work with it (error with exe.file).
I tried to find english version to reinstall it, but couldn't find enywhere.
I would be grateful if someone helps me with advise where to find english version or newer one in order to solve my problems.

Maybe you're searching in the wrong forum. Go to Artemis Mobile 6, there are lots of ROMs (Tom_Codon, Meschle, Fracoon....)
Most of them are in english (WWE).
Remember: Don't forget to run USPL before flashing or you will brick your phone...

I have been reading through the link you sent me, but I am afraid I am not that good in this.
I personally use the official HTC WM6 rom V3.7. Its from HTC asia but its in english (as that seems to be the primary language for a few places over there). Running for months now and all is good. Fast, no bugs, no problems on my MDA III.

Warning everyone, flashed this PDAViet V18 rom and now the phone dosent work, tried everything no luck...PDA fine just no phone.
I was using the PDAViet V17 rom no problem, I then restored my Polaris to the original rom, (hard spl v2), then v18 flash.
Seems a bit buggy compared with V17.
I've just installed it and all is working fine so far including the phone...
I just flashed and my polaris is working 100% including the phone using radio 1.64.08.21
I wish this dude would include opera,tomtom,touch diamond keyboard and pacman in his roms. They would be perfect then

Just flashed my polaris back to original WWE 1.25.405.1, by-passed ext rom loading extras and now phone is same?, I have just tried my sim in another unlocked phone and it works.
Rom must have killed my radio part of my polaris?

Thanks for that TorNaK, my polaris phone part is dead, got a good pda gps but no phone now...
Try to flash Murata Radio.
This ROM is nice and smooth, thanks PhamQuang.
Problem with FM radio though. It scans OK with sound when seeking but no sound from selected channels. I had a similar problem with swotos latest build so I think it's to do with this Xperia build. Audio Manager is OK.
No problems with FM Radio with v17 but it wasn't as smooth as V18 which I think it's a great ROM.
I'll try a Hard reset just to make sure none of the installed apps broke the FM radio.
Update after a hardreset:
1. No sound from FM radio.
2. Comm Manager still runs after you press Exit.

I have been flashing my P3300 Artemis and my old O2 Orbit for about 2 years now, and used all posted rom's with no problems like this one to date. Maybe the polaris is a more fragile device?, or the rom's are harder to master i don't know.

And what version is like official from HTC Diamond, becouse this ROMs are modified and added many programs, i want the hole ROM instalation WM6.1 for Hermes, you understand me??
There are NO official wm6.1 for hermes...they are all ported from other devices & cooked!
I know man, a said like official ROM, so where is on this forum the ROM for Hermes with WM6.1 which is most similar to "Hermes official" (if that will been)
So I look for hole ROM instalation without programs from user modificators
When searching for roms pay attention to keywords such as "clean" or "naked." These are usually stripped down and should be what you're looking for. Also, for many of the usually bloated roms they also offer "Lite" versions which don't include as much custom software.
Does that answer the question?

I actually upgraded ROM to 3.54.255.3 but I am facing some problem with bluetooth. I am unable to receive any files. Can you please guide me.

what rom did you use? go find other roms that has bug free!!!
Rom Version is 3.54.255.3 I downloaded it from some link present on this forum I don't remember now, I cannot find any other ROM for my device
There is a whole section of this forum DEVOTED to ROMs... Go to WM06 part, thats where all the newest ROMs are to be found.
Just make sure to Hard SPL your Hermes first or you may be looking at a brick...

u have to install bluetooth stack.....I did so after getting receiving problems in bluetooth after flashing my jasjam with pandora 6.1 naked rom.the problem was that the incoming beam wud fail itself even if the other device is visible and connected.now the default bluetooth prgrm is not at all used.the new stack works perfect and much better..........if u r lukin 4 a clean rom for tytn try the pandora naked rom.I had probs like keyboard mapping(do registry edit or dwnld advncd configuration tools and select english in keyboard options*it needs .net framework) and bluetooth.other than that its good

I am sure all went well with no problems, however I have noticed I am missing my HTC Contactes on the Home Scrren Tabs. I went to start & found HTC Messages / HTC Calendar / People / Music / Footprints / Peep. I am sure before the flash I had HTC Contacts?????
I have also tried to tidy the Start page up by creating folders and moving programs through Explorer which seems to work ok, However I created a Folder called HTC Programs and moved all the above into this folder all went ok. I rebooted the Device and when I head back into Start Menu the above programs have returned & also they are also located in the HTC Programs folder that I created. I have tried Cut & Paste with no luck.
I am sure its something I have done wrong, however any help would be great.

Your fist problem.... Have you tried a Hard Reset After Flashing the ROM... And please confirm that whether it's a TEST Rom ??? If so you can leave it alone...
Second problem.... I also have this problem... so dont worry mate, it's seemed like that is the default option of the ROM....

Ok.... It's better for you Hard Reset after each flash.... even twice ... If the problem still there you have to concern about download progress .. It's possible when you download and there are some thing make your file become "bad".... so you have a bad flash... You should re flash it or re- download.
Yes, there are much different between Test Rom and Official ROM... You better use the Official ROM... because it's the most stable for daily use. And if that was a Test Rom...so it's not full functional mate... If you are in Europe .. I recommend you flash back the Shipped ROM from WWE or EU... and wait for some days cause a new WWE ROM is coming soon though... so take your time... and cheers
TIP: When you flash a new ROM ... let take a look around all the function whether it works or there is still a bug, do not setting up everything cause it wastes your time... For safety, you should use the Official ROM from HTC... because it's reliable for your daily activities.
By the way... you should use Microsoft My Phone to back up your data. I know there are some applications can back up well but there will be the error to your device if the Core Function like (HTC SENSE) in latest ROM is the newer version compare to the previous. There will be somethings not compatible together... So let make your decision mate.... Happy Flashing

Ok... here is the rapidshare link for the HTC Official ROM 1.48.405.2 click here
And I also include the latest radio 2.07 as I Know it is a very good radio for HD2 atm ...After flash the ROM... quickly take out your battery and do a Hard Reset, then try to flash the RADIO ... it's also like the way you flash the ROM mate... then hard reset again and boot up the device Then take a look over the functions in the ROM... but it's shipped ROM.. so dont worry
Tip: you should remove your storage card while upgrading the ROM...

I have downloaded the new Rom, however not impressed.....The Phone reboots, and Win starts...No Set-up screen alowing me to update my Tmobile settings. Infact all it dose is go straight to the Home Page. Nothing set-up at all.....
Are you haveing the same problems.....

Oh no..... it's weird.... mine work fine... everything work in order as the previous shipped ROMs... I think you should hard reset the phone... take out the SD card... and see how it works again...If this cant sorted it out maybe you need to reflash or re-download the ROM though....and hard reset 2 or 3 times after flash... Just hard reset and take out the battery and hard reset again.. just make sure everything "clean" after flashing new ROM...
Ok... I give you the official link on the htc home page , so you can download the real Official ROM just go there and insert the Serial here HT9AZNW00968 then download the WWE ROM....

pack your hd2 up and all the accesories you have for it
and ship it to me and i will put the very best A number 1 rom
ever made on it then i will test it to make sure its perfect
and then i will send it back to you
