[Q] a missing kernel - G2 and Desire Z General

amazinglarry had posted a few items up here, and allegedly had them taken down and all mod comments point to finding the stuff on "HIS OWN WEBSITE" only problem is his profile doesnt have a website listed, and a google search doesn't work either...
and surprisingly... the mods lock up anything referencing him quickly... hopefully i can get an answer before an overzealous mod locks this up as well.

Twitter tab - delete old tweets?

Oddly, I can't seem to find anything searching all over the place. I have it set to 50 tweets, but it seems to have ALL the ones downloaded since I got the phone.
Is there a setting I'm missing to kill the older ones? Anyone have a link to a discussion that I'm missing in my searches?
There is a thread, and mentioned elsewhere.
You have to do some deleting manually.

Thanks for the link - will have to see why it wasn't matching my search terms later.

Autokiller in Fresh Toast?

Do you guys still use Autokiller in the new Fresh Toast?
I use it. Dont really want to go and use the task killer so i let the auto killer do it. I set it to aggressive. Keeps my phone fast.
Many people use it. The only reason flipz stopped including it because he noticed it was reporting your location to the dev. The dev since then has removed it from the app.
ALSO THERE IS A SECTION CALLED.. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Please post in the right section from now on. The only thing that belongs in Development is something that you provide to others to use for your computer, phone or others means of developing towards "android" or "htc hero"
yes, i have flurry analytics included to better understand the usage of my application, and it also collected location information, but i have disabled this feature a few weeks ago...

why would u need location info and dont give me that "to better understand your clientele" crap.... thats why i dont use it anymore i dont want flurry analytics or location info being recorded
I have already reported to the creator of autokiller that the app doesn't seem to function anymore on most of the 2.1 roms ive tired. It's a shame as it used to be a really useful app.

Android Market Shows No Paid Apps Anywhere

Please ignore this thread. Noticed that others are having this issue as well. Should have used search instead of just looking at threat titles

[Q] Apps AND Services safe to remove?

Yes I have read the stickied thread, but it isnt being maintained and i believe the list to be mainly applications. Services also run, so could people let me know which ones they have safely removed or blocked? And i will test and confirm the result, for my own reference and for others if they read.
Thanks guys

It still is up to date, 2.3.3 only added some more facebook stuff you can remove. Feel free to post it in THAT topic as that's what it's there for.
Services are mainly comming from apps to...
oh god another thread without even using the stickied one.. you can reply there
oh god
Just seems sensible for somebody to maintain it, im used to sticked threads being updated not with posts here there and everywhere but litrelly update/edits. So services are listed in that thread to? Looked like just apps to me
Apk files contain apps, widgets and services. That's why it makes sense to define safely removable APKs which, if erased, will be gone with their related apps, widgets and services.

Enabling multi-user functionality?

So just got my hands on one of these. One thing I noticed/realized that would be a big deal for my intended usage is being able to enable multi-user functionality so each person that uses it can log in to their own profile.
So far on researching I have seen very little discussion on this matter. At best I see no option in the stock rom and no mentions in third party roms. If this is indeed available in third party roms I would not be averse to giving them a shot. I have also seen build.prop edits to enable that and they seem to be the same edit across devices so I'm assuming it is a standard android thing. I haven't had a chance yet to root my Player but is there a chance adding these build.prop options could also work on the stock rom?
Thoughts? Btw, I have already updated to Marshmallow however I did find a post around here that seems to indicate it is still relatively easy to root so once I get time today I am going to go down that route regardless.
I've seen a workaround that has you side-load gmail apk onto the nexus player, which in turn lets you add an account. Then, there are some apps that check for multiple accounts. Haven't tried yet, I think it might no longer work with YouTube like it used to.
Let's get this escalated to google - star this issue to get it some attention.

I would really like some info on this! cr08 if you are going to mention builprop edits please at least consider linking the info you refer to haha thanks!
