[NoDo ROM]HD7_HTC_Europe_3.03.502.04_Radio_5.66.09.09a_22.46 .50.21U_NoDo, by ansar - HD7 Windows Phone 7 Development

Dear forum members,
I found interesting this ROM due to, except a newer 7390 platform, is including the following apps:
- AT&T FamilyMap
- AT&T myWireless
- AT&T Navigator
- AT&T Radio and
- AT&T U-verse Mobile
Here are some more improvements:
- A newer ROM Radio and
- Speach recognition over the network
So if one is or will be in US with an HTC_Europe branded device can benefit of by unbranding to this one
As an option an AT&T SIM card can be used to get all privileges
AT&T does not yet provide an update to 7392 NoDo
Finally beware that this ROM supports English and Spanich only
In the following A, B, C and D sections is described the flashing process
of the NoDo unbranded ROM: RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_3.03.502.04_Radio_5.66.09.09a_22.46.50.21U_NoDo_Signed_by_ansar
A. Pre-Requisites
If your HD 7 is flashed with a ROM of the following releases:
1. RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_1.16.401.01_Radio_5.51.09.06a_22.30.50.09U
2. RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_1.54.401.01_Radio_5.51.09.29_22.32.50.10U
3. RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_1.60.401.01_Radio_5.52.09.16_22.33a.50.10U
4. RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_1.69.401.01_Radio_5.54.09.21_22.33b.50.10U (Nodo)
then you can flash the following NoDo unbranded ROM and when you like you can comeback to your previous ROM
In case your HD 7 is flashed with a different of the above 1, 2, 3, 4 ROMs but your Firmware version at your phone settings>about>more information
is of the form xxxx.yy.zzzzz.401 i.e. with characteristic value 401
then you can also flash the following NoDo unbranded ROM, but you can comeback only to one of the above 1, 2, 3, 4 ROMs
B. Downloading

Extract the downloaded zip ROM files with an unzip / 7zip utility in separate folders of your choice

Hi,
Camera is very good indead
If i remember well ambient sensor worked ok too
Regards, ansar

Didn´t see any difference to 1.69. Ambient light sensor didn´t work and the camera didn´t shot better pictures. Perhaps these issues must be solved by MS?

Battery life seems okay... reception, I cant really say at the minute. will report back when I feel I have used it for quite a bit in places I know..

Hello, I update with this rom but no french language ?
regards, Prof

Finally beware that this ROM supports English and Spanich only

Hi ansar,
What do you mean by Speach recognition over the network
Do you think I sould take a look for HD2?
Other thing: people were talking about light sensor, do you know if there roms in witch it's works.
I thaught it was a HD2 issue before but it's seems not.

Hi,
At Settings>speech and on NoDo ROMs you have Enable speech recognition over the network
This is also valid for Non NoDo ROMs on US operator ROMs as TMOUS, Sprint and Canadian BellMobility
Also at Settings>brightness there is Automatic adjust
Check both if work on a NoDo for HD2

I was thinking (and hope) that was working automatic with light sensor (and not only the option)
Don't know what is wrong with that...
Thanks a lot
PS: If there is another build-in 7392 rom anywhere could you PM me? Still need some mui files for some languages to be sure all is ok.

Although NoDo ROMs implement the Enable recognition, only specific operators/networks support it

Hi,
This is also Great-Britain code but with added info for the Australian operator, already analysed.
Not pure WWE i.e. 0x0409.
Thnx, ansar.
This worked a Treat
Through work aquired a Mozart with Telstra Demo(Store) Rom. Very furstrating as it wouldnt hold settings and kept playing that damn video.....
Downloaded this rom (following the links from here and trying a few download mirrors until I found one that worked)
Turned off Phone
Held Volume Down Key while Pressing Power Button (This turns the phone on and launched Bootloader)
Connected to PC Waited about 5 minutes while Windows auto detected the drivers and installed what it needed
Right Mouse clicked on the downloaded Rom and selected "Run as Administrator"
Followed the prompts.
****NOTE**** When it got to 10% the phone rebooted - LET IT!!!!! DO NOT TOUCH IT DO NOT DISCONNECT IT - Just wait -The computer will redetect and about 10 Min later VIOLA - All sorted nice and clean WP7 HTC Mozart (with a with Telstra One Hub - which aint that bad) - Whacked the 3 Sim card in - Downloaded Connection Setup Wizard from market place and a few minutes later was sending and receiving MMS etc
Thanks for the ROM
Hi,
can you tell me if there is still only English UK as the display language?
Or is it possible to select a different display language with this rom?

Unfortunately English only...although you fan change your locale and regional settings.... Frustrating for me too because I want to Install Bahasa Indonesia but I cant figure that our yet.
Does this also include radio?
Im curious...does the rom package includethe radio as well? Im tempted to attempt the Asian Rom So i can possibly get the Indonesian language pack. Been a Telstra Mozart this operates on 850 3G I would want to minimise risk of a lockup by trying without radio.
i found link but admin is not allowing me to post link as my user limitations as all
all links are dead and i found link to post but cannot post as my limations
Someone able to reupload this?

http://www.filefactory.com/file/b48..._1.28.111.03_5.52.09.16_22.33a.50_RELEASE.exe
DO NOT TRY TO FLASH THIS ROM FOR ANY OTHER DEVICE EXCEPT MOZART!

THNX a LOT!
Hopefully it fixes my problems with sending text messages.
Will I lose my data (mainly my SMSes) if I install this update?
//EDIT -> according to several forums, I will lose my data...
and I haven't found any solution to backup my SMSes - yeah -.-
Is there anything I should regard or be aware of before updating?
//EDIT -> I just tried updating my phone and don't know how. It boots in the bootloader (RGB-test with some data on the device, SPL, the SD card, ...) just fine but the RUU doesn't find it.
I'm trying to flash it from a Windows XP machine - is there anything I have to take care of before I can flash it?
Or is there a real step-by-step manual for total dummies (I've flashed my HTC Diamond several times before without problems and have got no clue, why the PC won't find my Mozart).
The update process cancels with a CONNECTION ERROR [260].
will the hspa work on it from the tmobile usa after flashing this rom???
Invalid vender id
I have
INVALID VENDER ID
T-Mobile
Is there already a solution?

nice greetings
Do you have the German T-Mobile version?
Mine flashed without any problems (after solving the driver problem...).
I have T-Mobile Austria.
but that this should be the same, right?
Greetings
Well, I'm not exactly sure.
However, if you think about the update failing with a wrong VENDOR ID - I guess it makes a difference.

are there any big noticable changes after flashing the new rom?
or is it just a minor security/stability update?
Be careful when uninstalling TMO apps
ROM is working very good, more fluent than stock version 1.25 - no problems found yet.
Still noticed the same problems with the stock ROM after uninstalling TMO shipped apps. When I uninstall Navigon the BING Map "Search" and "get directions" is gone/does not work anymore. When I remove "mediencenter" and plug in the headphones the phone is neither accepting nor able of making calls. However reflashing solves the problem - but you can't get rid of those TMO apps without losing functionality.

According to some other sites (just google the version number), this rom ships out with new devices. So no, it should not get you blocked, as it's a legit update.
Flashing is fairly easy: Backup everything you can, start you Mozart in Bootloader mode (pressing volume down while powering it on), plug it into your PC via USB, install the drivers if needed (done by installing Active Sync in XP, Windows Vista and newer should automatically find the needed drivers), start the updater and follow the instructions.
There is no official changelog, but several people think that the animations are smoother, the touchscreen reacts faster, ...
Seeing that there is no official changelog and the only thing we can do is assume what could have changed, I think there's no sense in discussing this. Especially since you can find several threads in other forums that discuss the changes in various lengths...
I haven't noticed any new problems after the update, so I guess it's at least as good as the previous version.
But this are just my thoughts

No you can't flash the HTC_Europe version, only the TMO_DE version.
TMO_DE stands for T-mobile Germany
HTC_Europe is the generic software for the non branded devices.
Doesn't make any difference except the useless apps you get from t-mobile.
But after you delete them everything is the same.
And for the record, You don't have to flash your phone at first... Installing new firmware IS flashing. so you just run the RUU and make sure zune is running and phone is running, not in stand-by.
And be sure to backup everything you want to keep, haven't flashed my mozart, but i think you lose all data when you flash it.
Sure someone else knows that.

Thanks for the answer!
I thought that I have to set the mozart in the bootloader mode, in order to flash. When I was telling it "flashing" I meant something like hspl like we had to do on the HD2, befor we could flash custom roms or htc roms on it.
edit: and is there any possibility to go back to: 1.25.2250.5 firmware (now installed on my phone)?
and last question this 1.28 version will not breake my warranty, right? It'S a normal t-mobile rom, isn't it?
Guys, I'm not sure I fully understand everything so far.
I basically have a Telstra (Australian) HTC 7 Mozart. From what I gather, I cannot flash this on my device until it is unbranded, is that correct?
hello to everyone.
I have a htc t-mobile mozart Germany but I live in Venezuela and I can assure you and proven DepNet.com for both 1.25 and 1.28
posted on this page to a friend Football and run to perfection
and also I can tell you that my phone came with 1.25 and the 1.28 istale him but then return to 1.25 and all is well.
and the echo for several times trying to place the Spanish language and if anyone can help I'd appreciate it forever
@ WinUser009:
HSPL was needed because we used to flash cooked (and therefore custom-made) ROMs, which were not signed by HTC or any other company able to sign them. These ROMs are unmodified and signed, which is why you can flash them without flashing any unlocked HSPL first.
Bootloader-mode is just a different mode to boot in - it does not need any changes to your phone!
I don't think that there is a possibility to go back to 1.25.xxx - but honestly why would you want to? But I have to admit that I have not yet tried it...
As to the warranty: that's a complicated matter...
This firmware is not official and my new Mozart (I got a new one after sending it in) still had the 1.25 firmware installed (someone posted that newer phones should ship with the 1.28). So there might be a person detecting that you flashed it yourself, if they keep sending out new phones with 1.25 preinstalled.
However, the phone I turned in had 1.28 flashed and I have not received any complaints when I sent it in for a replacement. So I guess it is up to your shop but it should not pose any problems!
@ameel
You can flash as soon as one of these things happen:
- custom roms are released that don't check for the carrier information
- you unlock your phone (somehow)
- Telstra releases an update
But as of now you can't flash these T-Mobile roms on your Mozart.
@minino405
Sorry, but I didn't understand your post. What did you try to tell / ask us?
I hope I could help you with some of your questions

Also installed on Bell HD7 and everything works even after changing region. still have copy and paste. My only concern is the fact that it's a Telstra ROM not Bell. Also the Keyboard only has settings for English UK. Besides that I happen to miss unlocking and side-loading apps. Hope someone comes out with a hack like the chevron team.
Thanks ANSAR for the work appreciated

Hi !!!
This ROM is TELESTRA not BELL....
Thanks for your work man.
Ok ran this rom since I flashed it...everything is working perfectly EXCEPT I can't send an mms..no pic text. Seems I can receive but not send..i did run HTC connection setup a few different times. Anyone else running this wanna try it out and see if it works? I'm gonna flash back but I'm gonna miss the damn copy and paste now that I've had it again. Lol I'm one of the few that use it many times daily. .ah well..
EDIT...looks like it was just a network problem, long as no one else has an issue I'dsay were still golden...thanks again ansar!
So after flashing this rom and enjoying it for some time, i decided to go back to the original rom since i think i prefer the benefit of unlocked phone to the NoDo update.
However, after flashing the original rom from bell, chevron unlocker doesn't work on my phone any longer.
Has anyone tried this rom and gone back their original rom and have been able to unlock their phones?
thanks

[NoDo ROM]Mozart_TMO_DE_1.30.401.01_Radio_5.54.09.21_22.33b. 50U_NoDo, by ansar

Dear forum members,
In the following A, B, C and D sections is described the flashing process
of the NoDo unbranded ROM: RUU_Mozart_TMO_DE_1.30.401.01_Radio_5.54.09.21_22.33b.50U_NoDo
A. Pre-Requisites
If your Mozart is flashed with a ROM of the following releases:
1. RUU_Mozart_TMO_DE_1.23.111.05_Radio_5.50.09.18_22.24.50.09U
2. RUU_Mozart_TMO_DE_1.28.111.03_Radio_5.50.09.18_22.24.50.09U
then you can flash the following NoDo unbranded ROM and when you like you can comeback to your previous ROM
In case your Mozart is flashed with a different of the above 1, 2 ROMs but your Firmware version at your phone settings>about>more information
is of the form xxxx.yy.zzzzz.111 i.e. with characteristic value 111
then you can also flash the following NoDo unbranded ROM, but you can comeback only to one of the above 1, 2 ROMs
B. Downloading
You must download the following 2 ROMs:
1. Download this zip ROM file: RUU_Mozart_TMO_DE_1.30.401.01_Radio_5.54.09.21_22.33b.50U_NoDo_by_ansar
2. Download this zip ROM file: RUU_Mozart_TMO_DE_1.30.401.01_Radio_5.54.09.21_22.33b.50U_NoDo_Signed_by_ansar
Extract the downloaded zip ROM files with an unzip / 7zip utility in separate folders of your choice
C. Flashing Process
In order to successfully flash the provided ROMs you must follow these steps:
1. Flash the ROM of the above (B.1.) extracted zip ROM file
2. After flashing Mozart will automatically enter again in bootloader mode
3. In the screen of your computer the ROMUpdateUtility will report an ERROR[270]
4. Ignore it and exit from ROMUpdateUtility
5. Now flash the ROM of the above (B.2.) extracted zip ROM file
6. After flashing your Mozart will boot normally
7. Exit from ROMUpdateUtility and proceed with your brand new ROM
If you do not want them you can delete all operator apps, in order to have more free RAM
Beware, in WP7 deleting an application means it is deleted from ROM
D. ROM Flashing Instructions
In order to flash a ROM follow these steps:
1. Press and hold power-on/off button to power-off the phone
2. Press and hold volume-down button and then press power-on/off button to enter bootloader mode
3. When your phone enters the tricolor screen bootloader mode, release volume-down button
4. Connect your phone to your windows 7/vista/xp pc/laptop with a usb cable
5. Verify that your phone will be identified and relevant drivers will be installed by windows os of your pc/laptop
6. After completion of (D.5.) above, check the usb message connection on your phone screen
7. To flash the ROM go to your pc/laptop folder where the downloaded zip ROM file is extracted
8. Double click on the ROMUpdateUtility.exe file and strictly follow the instructions on your pc/laptop screen
Till next version enjoy!!!

yes i would like to know the same.
also if this has Autofocus on Camera (focus without pressing button)
and someone check if this got bing voice search in uk or us region
ansar do you mind explaining why we can only come back to tmo after that? even with goldcard?
and why do we have to flash it two times like unbranding without goldcard.
i also wonder what the term "unbranded" means in your case.
it doesnt have t-mobile startup logo? thats the "branding" isnt it?
ahh but i see, is this official or hacked rom?
because i think its using htc europe bootloader and not tmo
[ROM]RUU_Mozart_TMO_DE_1.28.111.03_5.52.09.16_22.33a.50_RELEASE
111 is tmo, 401 is htc europe

Hi,
If you see the ROM title is addressed to Mozart TMO_DE, i.e.CV 111, operator and unbrands to CV 401, i.e. hTC_Europe
A return to TMO_DE is possible, if one wants to go back for any reason to his/her initial operator
Regards, ansar
Is this an unbranded ROM?
as far as is understood, yes
it uses htc europe bootloader, but tmode rom
so no tmobile startup logo, but all tmode apps inside
I have TMO/DE 1.28.111.01_Radio_5.52.09.16_22.33a50.10U...
out of the box.
can I flash my Mozart and unbrand it?
can I apply the guide above?
thanks.
But no possibility anymore to sideload my own tryout homebrew apps, if I'm right?
And will it be possible to get future updates? (see Microsofts statement about the forced nodo update)?
Sorry for the questions. Too much information at the moment en too little time to receive all of it.

Thanks Ansar,
I did install this Rom. It works great.
I noticed that the flashed ROM is the 7389 built.
When connected to Zune it is possible to update to 7390 As you told me.
But I've been looking all over Xda and the internet to find a solution to get Chevron working or another way to sideload apps for the 7389 built. But I can't seem to find any. Can you give any link to the other way you mentioned above?
There's only one way I seem to find. Flash a 7004 or 7008 rom, Chevron unlock, apply registry hack and update. Since I need to use this rom of yours to unbrand it, its not really possible to revert to 7004 or 7008.
As you can see I'm a bit stuck in getting it unlocked again.
Anyway thanks for your time and help!
Regards
Update Error 80070005
Hi,
After upgrading to this rom, I keep getting the error 80070005 when I try to look for updates through Zune, which seems to be a permission issue. I do have a notification on my phone that there is an update available. Just can't get it to download.
Did I do anything wrong during the update procedure? Anyone else had this too?
Thanks!

Good guide, but am in infinite loop on step 16<g>!
Its just that I have a goldcard handy and was wondering what would happen if I installed the rom direct with that?

Unfortunately the answer at issue a change MAC address, can only owners HTC Spark Europe, they were first full update 5.10 the full package driver.
That there invented by the sages HTC & Co
Any chance for additional languages, for example 0415 Polish?
And is this ROM updatable via zune in the future, or not?
does this rom require us revert back to NoDo before HSPL/RSPL? or can just HSPL/RSPL from 7.10.7720.68?
