So, I've been taunted by the Acer the day before launch at BB and had someone open one up to demo for me. After somehow avoiding the purchase I did more research and found the Asus release date and figured I'd wait. Well we all know how that went..
Anyhow as I sit here reading thread after thread deciding on the Acer now, or Asus later, I am torn about the screen quality. I have heard many things like "as good as Ipad" "way better than Xoom" the amazingly grammatically correct; "it Sux" or just "terrible"
I don't care about the dock....at all. Battery life, build quality and screen crispness i do care about.
I'm hoping this thread can be to discuss the goods and bads about the screen in as unbiased a way as possible. I would love for people who have interacted with both chime in!
The screen "quality" is fine. Text looks great (read for over an hour with no eyestrain). Videos look good. Viewing angles are even fine, which is unusual for a TFT.
But the glare!!! Yikes. I realize that the glare probably has more to do with the glass than the screen technology, but the bottom line is that they both contribute to my enjoyment, or lack thereof, of the screen.
I have a Nook Color and I can place the A500 and the NC right next to each other and the difference is dramatic in terms of glare. Sure, the NC has some reflection, but it's a great deal more muted than then A500 which is practically a mirror.
I don't have any particular problem with the screen. It looks sharp. Runs in 1280x800 resolution.
Some people complain about the grid that can be visible, but I have NEVER seen it during normal use. I didn't even know what people were talking about until I held it at weird angles directly under a light source (as in...10 inches away from my lamp).
The thing is a finger-print magnet though, so if you have OCD issues with that sort of thing you will always need to be replacing screen protectors or having a microfiber cloth in your back-pocket.
I picked one up from bestbuy a few days ago. The screen is very nice. The grid does bother me, but it's not often that I see it.
Games look good, videos look good. Everything is snappy
I don't have a transformer or an ipad to test it against but I think the acer is worth buying if you don't care about the keyboard dock on the transformer.
The screen itself is very good with decent colour and contrast with excellent viewing angles. As others have said though, you do get glare from the high gloss glass panel and it attracts fingerprints when you just go near it. With the right lighting direction I can see the grid in the same way I have seen it on virtually all capacitive screens.
Would I use any of this against the A500? - no. These issues are minor to me but I can see how for some they would be a more major issue.
I think the quality is really good but could use some tweaking. Why in the world are there no apps that allow you to tweak gamma contrast color and all that? Calibrating would make it much better but for some reason we are expected to keep it as delivered?
Also slightly unrelated, has anyone noticed if you use a 1280x800 image as a wallpaper it looks liek crap? What resolution do we need wallpapers to be in? The stock ones are too borring.

Look, the IPS display is "better"....that's that. If you need something with a gorgeous screen, wait.
Is the A500 screen terrible, bad, etc.? Not by a long shot. It's bright, crisp and the viewing angles are very, very good. The 'grid' you read people referring to, is barely visible and you'll only notice it on very lightly colored, black or white backgrounds, and that's with your face plastered to the screen. It isn't a deal breaker for many people but it might be for you. If you can afford to wait, wait....and make an informed decision and one you won't regret once you're able to compare them side by side. Unlike the TF, the A500 is in supply and I doubt they'll be running out any time soon so time and supply are on your side (for the Acer, anyway).

hahaha, nice to have a neighbor on this forum. Yep, the transformer has the best screen but the iconia is not that bad. I got my TF at Fry's. I saw an employee there carried 3 TFs to the stock room. I jumped on them right away, got one for my best friend and one for my brother. Both of them want the TF so bad. As for me, I am settled with the iconia at Best Buy. I just like the build quality and how it feels in my hands. If I knew, I could have got the last TF for you

I'm still deciding between android or I pad. I really feel I pads polish in multimedia is a big plus. I'm trying my roommates xoom and youtube doesn't even run without stutter :/
Netflix is nice on I pad too

Back light bleed through
Some transformer owners have complain about back light bleed through when watching videos.
hey in the past week i have tested the view sonic gtablet , the archos 101 and the playbook . the view sonic and the archos dont even come close to what the acer is i picked up the acer after i saw it at best buy today and i was impressed i also picked up the xoom last week but returned it after 24 hrs because the price 599 was on my mind the whole time i was playing with it .
the screen i feel is like the apple ipad which i have . i really can not notice the difference. and if anyone is thinking about the gtab and the archos dont get them if your not holding it at the right angle all the time your not going to see much.
I had the gtablet for 3 weeks and recently sold it and picked up the Acer A500 yesterday. I was also comtemplating on buying the Xoom at Bestbuy, but after playing with both tablets I couldn't justify spending the extra $ on the xoom so I went with the Acer and so far so good. It's like night and day compared to my old gtablet.

LoL. Please clean the screen of the Iconia What a difference...
I'm a Transformer owner, but over the weekend I had a chance to play with both the Xoom and the Iconia in store.
The screen on the Tranformer is definitely the best of all three tablets, and this was clearly evident even without having the Transformer to hand to compare side by side.
However, I would still rate the Iconia's screen as "very good" (the Transformer's screen would be rated "excellent"), and significantly better than the screen on the Xoom (which I would rate as just "ok").

P.S. Just an FYI, but I'm keeping an eye on the Iconia forums because I'm thinking about getting an A100, not to troll regarding A500/Transformer comparisons!
if you want to see the real difference between the Iconia and Transformer, take a pic from the side with about a 150 deg angle.

It not a regular TFT screen , in fact there are 4 differents technologies ( TN, MVA, PVA, IPS )
Acer choosed PVA for the A500 , it provides the highest contrast ever measured on a tablet (1126:1) when the Ipad and its IPS Screen is rated (960:1) , but the latency is not as good as its competitors (even if asus came out with a trick , to correct that , by inserting a black picture every 3 images )
People tends to think that IPS is superior , but in fact it depends of the usage.
A500's screen might not be the best screen in the world , but it is for sure a very good one.
This is the second transformer I have purchased, received directly from amazon not even a reseller... This one the box has nasty finger smudges all over it and looks as if the box had been opened... but
Anyways... The issue being with this one is that (4) of the backlights are visable at all screen brightnesses. I did not have this issue on the other one I had (screen was flickering like short in the unit somewhere, so decided to return and order new one seeing as it would be faster then RMA)
Not sure if this is normal or if this is another reason to return this device as it seems like quality control seems to be an issue with this product.
Just seems annoying that is what I focus on all the time and not sure if this is normal or if I got yet another defective unit...
Please let me know if yours looks like this otherwise I believe I am returning this one and ordering another. This is unacceptable to me.
I just recieved another transformer from amazon today too. I sent the other one back and purchased this one. Both of the transformers have the same light bleeding like what you have. The one i just recieved today has a lil more light bleeding than the one i sent back. I'm keeping this one. Not going to send it back anymore.
That looks pretty bad. I have some backlight bleeding, but I have to go out of my way to see it (max out the brightness in a dark room).
Here is a picture of mine. And this is basically the worst possible combinations of maximum brightness, completely dark room, and solid black wallpaper.
The light bleed is only a little noticeable on the lower left side and maybe a bit in the upper right. But what is annoying me is if you look closely there is a small light color blotch in the middle lower area of the screen. Argh!

already requested to ship back to amazon... this sucks!!! but when trying to watch a movie the bleed is horrible.
I wish my original one from walmart didn't have a short in the screen (as you moved it the screen would turn on and off) because that one was otherwise perfect 100% no screen bleeding even on 100% brightness!

I'd return that. That looks horrid. You pay for something and expect to be flawless. Now I mean if this was on display and someone tried to sell you it, you wouldn't have bought it if it came with that flaw now would you.
Yeah, I'm going to return mine. I bought it from a local Fry's Electronics and I got about 10 more days left to do the return. And they don't have anything in stock to exchange with.
I'm still struggling with if I want to exchange or get a refund and buy something else instead. Need a few more days to think it over (and maybe a look at a few more Galaxy Tab 10.1 reviews).

Nothing will be 100% problem free... just look at the ipad 2 screen issues... the transformer and its dock are a 1, 2 punch... and they said for any future transformer line the keyboard dock will fit, thats a +

I understand. But it seems like my odds of getting a defect free tablet may be higher with some manufactures than others.
My iPad was perfectly fine, first try. I've had two Xooms, both were perfect pieces of hardware (just too heavy and too expensive). My luck hasn't been as good with ASUS though.
Problem is both of the tablets I want seem to have manufacturing problems. I like the Galaxy Tab 10.1 too (though the lack of micro SD is why I bought the Transformer). But even Samsung seems to be having manufacturing problems with theirs too. Seems like far too many Google IO owners have their glass popping out of their bezel. Ugh. And it's looking like the production Wifi model has this issue too.
Well i deliberately wasnt lookig for issues and i can say the bleed is worse on the tf than my ipad 2. Also, of all sites, this forum craaaaaawls on it. Laggy as hell
XDA seems to really hate Android browsers. Haha. Opera Mini works MUCH better here though.
I thought I'd post a sample of the light bleed vs iPad 2. Both at 100% which frankly I'd never use this dark. However, the other shot is 50%.
I kept them small rather than two megs each. IMHO neither is acceptable at the price point. The tf changes with pressure the iPad 2 doesn't. The transformer is worse.
I have bad luck with screens. Also there are about ten stuck pixels seen on a black screen, I'm sure more if I run the color range.
Would you keep it? Don't think I will be. :/ and the iPad is getting exchanged.

But I notice this in only %1 in my daily use, because I am not using it in dark room on dark screen at full brightness
What bothers me more is speaker disbalance (right is normal left is only 30% as loud as right). But if I have to wait for RMA I won`t take it to RMA because I just love it too much and don`t want to wait for stupid RMA.. Maybe I will give it to RMA after 23 months (in Lithuania there is 2 Year warranty)
BTW I contacted seller and waiting for answer and if they will not exchange it i will live with these issues

just received my 3rd one in today. few dead pixels throughout the screen and then one big area that is washed out about the size of my thumb.
amazon refused to exchange this one and now says i have to go through asus. BULLSH**
i have to return mine due to the backlight as well, its got a bleed that seems like its getting worse every day.
also from amazon! i really dont want to send it back either

If you go to the bottom of the page on this site there is a arrow down box that says XDA 2010, switch it to XDA Classic and the website runs really smooth then.

this is exactly how my current (3rd) is. the other two had bleed, but not as defined as this one's is. the others were more diffused.

First and foremost, I'm not hear to start bickering with anybody...just here to share. Yesterday, I received my TF from BB via UPS. I was anxious to get it but at the same time had fingers crossed being that there's been quite a few documented issues both hardware and software related. As I turned on the device, the first thing that was blaring at me was there was screen separation. This was under the bezel where I could see the white of the black light clearly. Not the same as light bleed (there was some of that also). I went ahead and setup my account but had already known at that point that I was going to at least replace the unit. Initially, the unit was on 3.0.1, but after the battery had charged to about 70%, I got the notification that the 3.1 update was available. Now prior to me updating, which in all honesty wasn't a ton of time, I was experiencing FC's left and right. Believe me, I'm not the drama queen type, BUT IT WAS FREQUENT. Next thing I noticed was that, albiet not to thick, the tablet was quite heavy..a fair share of fatigue after holding for a short spell. In the TF's defense, I know a Xoom would have been equally taxing, as would an Iconia, etc.
Now I had been in Best Buy the same day that my TF came in the mail and saw that the Tab 10.1 was being released the next day (today). BTW...I live in NYC and was at the Union Square location. Fast forward to today; I was contemplating what I was going to do. Should I replace the unit with another and take the chance that everything is okay or do I choose something else. Low and behold, greatly due to the fact that there have been so many reports over various forums, I chose the Tab 10.1.
I've just had it a couple hours now, but so far here's what's evident. It is quite a bit lighter and more comfortable in hand.There's just about 0 light bleed. The colors are brighter on the Tab (take that as a pro or con....the colors are 'Galaxy S' oversaturated). There have been 0 FC's and the Tab is noticeably more responsive even when compared to the TF after it updated to 3.1. I'll miss the TF's widgets and extra cloud/DNLA services even though I never got a chance to hook it up. It's good to know that there are already accessories available that are made just for the tab. I bought a book style case for it from Belkin. '
All-in-all, I felt a bit let down enough by the TF to quickly decide that it wasn't the right choice for me. If any of you are feeling the same, I pray that provided you don't have any major hardware issues that Asus and Google can straighten them out with future updates. As for me, I prefer to take a less tentative unsure route.

Keyboard Case? Not sure. I saw the Keyboard today, but don't know about the case to be honest.

Call it the luck of the draw and I hope I continue to be lucky, but as I'm using I haven't encountered anything as yet. But again, this is just after a couple hours of use. I will tell you this much though, there are certain options that I can't seem to find on the Tab...such as the option to have the Tab be seen as a desktop device so less mobile pages load. As far as the microsd, it's not that big of dealbreaker for me as I don't necessarily need to have a ton of movies or music on the device. I'll be able to hold a decent share, but it was never one of my major objectives to load the baby up like I would an ipod or my mac. I may change my tune. I guess time will tell.

Could you do more test for us if possible? What is the load time for the browser? Is there lag when typing on forums like xda? How is the battery life? Thanks

This is where your rant fell apart for me.
The reason the colours are so saturated on the Galaxy S phones is because of the SuperAMOLED screen they have in them.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 uses a traditional TFT panel which is absolutely nothing special whatsoever, TFT is the most basic screen technology you can get right now.
You are imagining things, dust and light bleed issues aside the IPS panel in the Transformer is far, far superior to the ancient TFT panel in the Galaxy Tab 10.1.

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a PLS panel which is suppose to be an incremental improvement over IPS with even better viewing angles and brightness.

What are you talking about??? The 10.1 US verison runs on a PLS screen which is a IPS panel....Maybe you're thinking about the 10.1V which was release eariler this yr.
I dunno, just looked on Samsung's website and it said 10.1 WXGA TFT panel.
I guess it may have been the non-US version.

The tab has a pls display (better than ips) not tft. And the saturation has nothing to do with being an amoled or not. Samsung just likes to increase the saturation on its displays so they look more appealing

That is just a very generic description for 1280x800 LCD. Even IPS panels are WXGA TFT. That isn't suppose to tell you what kind of panel it is, be it TN, VA, IPS, or PLS.
So the description is correct, it's just vague in not including the panel type.

Learn to read, this fact was already pointed out by at least two other people. Jesus, do people just enjoy kicking someone while they are down?
Also, I'm still not entirely sure. I'm looking at some sites and I see a lot of them listing a WXGA TFT display.
Edit: Okay, I guess this link confirms it. I still don't care though, I just went through two months of Transformer back-order bullcrap and I'm guessing it will be the same story with the Galaxy Tab for a while.

Yeah, but when they just say TFT it usually means the crappiest kind. If they had something to advertise they would (well looks like they do, not sure why they don't advertise the SuperPLS panel more).
I'm still undecided what to do with my Transformer. This is the second one I've had. Sounds like my first had the same issue the OP has with his and my second has a light colored blotch in the middle of the screen.
Both tablets have some very positive qualities. So hard to weight what is going to be more important to me.

+ mini HDMI
+ netbook style keydock
Galaxy Tab 10.1
+ lighter and rounded edges (more comfortable)
+ better speakers
+ PLS display
+ LED flash
+ just better looking
Almost afraid to say it, because I detest custom UI, but I almost want to give the Galaxy Tab 10.1 a + for TouchWiz UX. The demo of it actually has some very nice looking features.
Because of the lack of micro SD I almost certainly will need to spend $200 more for a 32GB Galaxy Tab 10.1, versus the 16GB Transformer I'm using now with my 16GB micro SD card. So the price difference is greater (I am sure I need more than 16GB for a tablet).

Sorry, my experience has been that people like to gang up. Someone makes a clerical error and makes a misinformed statement, one person points out this error and it should end there. But usually you get a dozen other people join in and say the same thing just to feel good.
So yeah, sorry that I misunderstood your intent.

Almost afraid to say it, because I detest custom UI, but I almost want to give the Galaxy Tab 10.1 a + for TouchWiz UX. The demo of it actually has some very nice looking features.
Because of the lack of micro SD I almost certainly will need to spend $200 more for a 32GB Galaxy Tab 10.1, versus the 16GB Transformer I'm using now with my 16GB micro SD card. So the price difference is greater (I am sure I need more than 16GB for a tablet).

Same here. My TF is on its way to Asus for Repair. My display went dead after 1 months.... Before, having an sd slot was very important to me, but now its not cause I pretty much stream all my videos from my server at home with plex. What I like about the 10.1 is the battery life (engadget review) got 10 hrs, and better speakers. I am going to purchase 10.1 next week from Bestbuy and test it out. IF its good, then my TF will go straight to Ebay.

Im typing in the browser now and there is a bit of lag, but one thing that makes it a bit easier is that the Tab has haptic feedback. The TF didnt or by default it was turned off. The lag is definitely there though.

Again, I'm not here to bicker or say mine is bettrr than yours, I'm just sharing. However, at the same time I'm not imagining things. The colors are very bright. Similar to what i have seen on Galaxy S phones. Moreover, that's not necessarily a pro. I am more partial to colors being closer to neutral.
So I know there have been tons of threads regarding light bleed in the Transformer but what I'm wondering is if the issue has gotten any better with the newer units. My 45 day return window at Best Buy is coming up and I'm trying to decide what to do. I have some light bleeding on the bottom right of my unit, but it only really bothers me in dark rooms. However since my wife tries not to use lights very much in our house, most rooms are dark. I haven't had any other issues, and I would only consider exchanging it if I knew that the newer ones have gotten better on this front. I got mine in mid May and I assume they've had numerous shipments since then. Have the new models gotten any better on the defect front?

I also notice very minor light bleed only at the bottom about middle area so I would say that most likely this issue hasn't been resolved but I am afraid the new one I get tonight will be worse.
I will post up tonight when i get the new one and let you know if it has any bleed....most likely it will. Even the display models at 2 different Best Buys has it. I got mine from Office Depot so that is three different stores all with light bleed issues.
I got mine last month from Best Buy online and it's fine. No bleeding, no creaking, no problems of any kind (except the occasional PEBKAC issue )

Just got mine from NewEgg for $389/fs. So far, no issues. It's a black-sealed, Serial# B60 model. I can't detect any light-bleed, no creaks/cracks. Only had it a few minutes, but all seems well. It was packaged very well from NE with peanuts in a large box. I can't detect issues with the speakers either.
It had Android 3.1 preinstalled.
Also, it has all my phone (EVO) apps installed within minutes ... not sure if that's new to Google or something, but never had that before. It did it automatically when I signed in to Google.

what was the serial number of yours...b6?
Bought mine in Singapore last week, no problems whatsoever. Is from the recent manufactured batch, B60K serial, TW firmware. Love it, no regrets!
Bought mine Saturday at Compusa , went B&M in case I had to take it back. i have a slight amount of light bleed at the bottom middle right. Not sure if I'll take it back, it doesn't really bother me, but I did just pay for a new product so it should be perfect right?
I returned my first one due to a dead pixel and minor light bleed in the bottom middle of the screen. I just got my new one in yesterday and I can not find a single issue with it. Serial number b60.

Yes the one I got yesterday was a serial b6. The one I got today is a b5.
They both have\had very slight light bleed (at the bottom) but I think I can deal with it.
This new b5 is a little worse than the b6 but almost not so much to really even bring it up, but I will. So I would say that it is a crap shoot which sucks. I turned it on at the store but it wasn't dark enough to see the problem. I have seen some that are very bad that I couldn't live with but both I have had I could/will live with; unless they get worse over time.

I would normally agree with your logic about it being perfect, but with these IPS screens it's very hard to totally do away with the light bleed. Even the iPad2, as much as Apple praises their build quality, has light bleed. Mine did and so did my wife's.
Hell, my 46" Samsung LCD has some light bleed in the corners (we refer to them as "flashights").
I think if you get a TF with minimal light bleed, mine is very small at the bottom, you are doing well.
So mine is a B40K series. It sounds like if I can find a B60K series it might be worth it to exchange?

I am going to take my in for a replacement @ Fry's tomorrow as well! If I call ahead of time...will they tell me if they have a B60 in stock? =/ Seems like there are more success stories with the B60...I have light bleeding out all over the bottom...and on the left.
Some people doesn't seem to know what light bleeding is, so i will not believe anyone saying their TF is just perfect without seeing actual pictures of the screen, in max brightness and low light.
That happend on other forums a lot, and after explanations a lot of them admitted that they were wrong.
Same thing with unbalanced speakers, creaking, screen responsiveness etc.
Or... maybe not all of you there are as perfectionists as some of us are, and that's fine. But don't make us envy your perfect products.
Mine (B5) also has one light bleeding spot on the middle bottom (about an inch from the edge) and the screen responsiveness isn't as great s on SGS II or iPad2 (or maybe it's Honeycomb's fault), bothers me a little, but overall I am happy with my Transformer. It's making my life easier a lot on four aspects: saving my laptop (on which i spent a lot and doesn't deserve to be stressed sometimes all day long just for browsing; I am saving it for real work and there are days now when i don't use it at all; also, TF is way better than my wife's iPad 2 on this reason), my smartphone (who's battery now last for 2 full days because of transferring the light browsing, reading and media consuming in bed to the Transformer), my injured back (from using the laptop at desk all day) and my eyes (beacuse of the reason no. 2, with the smartphone replacement for some stuff).
LE: Conclusion: Stop complaining or bragging about it, and just make it worth it's money using it.
Has anyone yet commented the speaker balance in the B60K batch? More experience sharing on the light bleeding wll be appreciated too.
My B50K has passed its refund windows, but I could sell and buy a new B60K, and lose about $100. I need more info to decide...

I havew a B50K and it's perfect. Thinking you will be getting $100 worth of something additional with a B60K is just insane.
i'm hoping they've worked out the creakiness in B60...my B40 was really bad.

Said perfectly. I've had a B40, a B50, and 2 B60s. ALL had light bleed to various degrees.
The B60s seem a lot better but they still have light bleed. While I don't doubt there may be a few transformers out there with no light bleed, I'm definitely skeptical of the claim that someone has a transformer with no light bleed whatsoever.
I do a lot of reading on my device and I like to read with white text on a black background so light bleed shows up immediately. The light bleed on the B60 I am keeping is minimal enough that it doesn't bother me even in this condition.
I think it is well known now that the A500 displays poor color saturation. I am wondering if there is either a third party app or a custom ROM that allows me to fix this issue?

Not to me, I am very satisfied with the A500 colour saturation
i dont know I get great colors and saturation , now I would say the camera isnt all that good but I dont really use the camera so it doesnt matter to me

I am basing this off my personal observations as well as many others who have noted the same issue online.
Displaymate reviewed the screens of all android tablets a while ago and confirmed user observations that the A500 demonstrates poor color saturation. You can read the article here (http://www.displaymate.com/Acer_Iconia_ShootOut.htm).
You can also find many others who note the same issue with this model if you search Google. It should be apparent if you compare your tablet to other displays unless they are of an equal caliber.
I doubt it is the actual LCD hardware which is causing the problem, which is why I asked if there was a software solution where you can adjust display settings like saturation, contrast, etc.
The A500 does not have the greatest screen. No, I am not going to hold my breath and cry about ICS not here yet, no, I won't start a faceyspace petition, no, I'm not going to claim I'm putting my A500 on Craigslist.
I love my A500 and plan to keep it a long time.
But the screen is not that great. It does not have the best contrast (blacks being really black and not gray), it could be brighter, the colors a little more saturated.
But it's a tradeoff. No Android tablet is the best at everything, and I chose the A500 because it did have a lot of features I wanted compared to the others. The cameras, the 2 different sized USB ports, the construction, yada yada yada.
You MIGHT find some software tweak that could possibly adjust the screen a little, but you're really up against a hardware limitation. Compare your screen to a mirrored hdmi signal to a good TV. It's the screen. It's not great.
The only issue i have with the display on my a500 . When we are in bed Reading .. my better half complains that my screen is to bright. She tells me to roll over so its not blaring in her eyes or turn it down. IT Needs to go lower brightness.
everyone who i have seen my tablet say its looks amazing. I to will be using my a500 for quite some time.I See no need to jump onto a new device 450.00 and 1 year old. i want a 17.3 I7 Laptop next .Would get check book taken away if i try buying both.
Just a cheap screen, want better color performance step on over to a top tier tablet.
It's a 262k colour screen. What do you expect?

After spending time with a super AMOLED plus screen, I can't say the Acer screen is anything more than adequate in any catagory. And compared to other Android tablets, Samsung is at the top... in fact, they're at the top everywhere. Even the new iPad, since Sammy makes that screen, too.

I purchased this tablet about a year ago before the Transformer came out and the only other HC option at the time was the Xoom, which was a hundred dollars more expensive than the A500.
I did notice at the time that the color saturation on the A500 was slightly poorer than the Xoom when I purchased my tab in the store but that that difference didn't seem to overcome the price gap at the time. It is a minor issue I have with my tablet and no, I do not plan to see my tablet which I have owned for a year just because of it - I simply wanted to know if there was a way to adjust it which is why I created this post.
I don't understand why everyone here wants to attack and question me with rude or snarky comments which are OT. I am not attacking anyone or anything I am simply making an observation and asking if there is any way around it.

sorry just read a topic in here that got me moody, I have really only seen color modification on led screens i could be wrong, but i think what you see is what you get
