Check out Ebay, especially the ones for Vodafone branded equivalent of Uni, I believe they have the lightest silver of the lot. Next one is HTC, then JasJar with O2 being black. I personally prefer black O2 cover with blue key lights to my dark silver JasJar with red keylights, so I changed the housing and the keys The complete housing sell for around $45 USD with hinge sold separately.
Vodafone V1640, even. Someone on here was selling his and posted pics, so you can see the color of the housing, if you find the thread, that is.

Anyone know where I can get a decent case for my Hero? All the ones I've found online are £20ish and enclose the entire phone. I want one that allows you to use the phone while it's still in the case.
Seen a lot of ebay for £2.99 but they are all from Hong Kong with up to 14 days for delivery, I may have scratched it by then!
You could opt for one of the "invisible" plastic wraps that are available - they start at about £10, but stops the phone getting scratched at all...

I have the one from MobileFun, it arrived this morning having ordered it yesterday afternoon. I got the clear one as I have a graphite hero and it fits perfectly. Has a couple of "notches" in it so you can still use the volume rocker effectively and the holes for the camera and mic etc all line up perfectly.
I highly recommend it, think it was £12.45 including delivery, which as stated was very fast, so good value too.
There is a similar on eBay to the one on MobileFun for £2.95 inc postage and the seller is based in the uk

My Hong Kong case arrived today 7 days after ordering and I have to say I'm impressed. It's a good fit and has all the relevant holes and indentations. It covers right to the screen edges.

I got the gel case from Mobilefun and made a mistake, ordering the black rather than the clear case. I am delighted with it - the thing arrived the next day, fits like a glove and the black is more of a tint, so my white Hero looks mighty fine in it. Highly recommended...

I have the Blue one on O2 in the UK.
I have the Blue one - I'm from Denmark.
The blue one has only been shipped in small numbers to a select few stores, it should become available somewhere in the middle of May. The Gold one is not available yet and should see deliveries near the end of May.

huh I just bought the gold one xD, and I really like it =) its not overly shinny, its really classy I think, but its only my opinion

Ah! They probably shipped a few of those to select markets as well, then. I don't actually have direct insight into the shipment files, I just go by what I know from providers and a few big companies.
I've had the blue one for a week now (O2 UK) I pre-ordered the day before the Black & white ones were being released as I got a good deal. I'm not sure why there was a delay cos as far as i can tell the only difference between the black & blue one is the back cover i.e. nothing else is blue on the phone. Ok the box has a blue bit on it.
the first thing I did was to put the phone in a Spigen Neo Hybrid case (which is really cool) so I can see any of the blue anyhow...

So I'm from India and want to buy the gunmetal grey version of the M9+ but it's not available anywhere. So I was thinking I'll buy the silver on gold version and buy the silver metal panel when it comes out. Does anyone have any idea what sort of prices an original panel would look like?
