No gsm internet in android

Hey guys,
I have a tmobile htc hd2 with hyperdroid 1.7. I recently upgraded from 1.6 to 1.7 and i initially noticed some instability in the gsm internet. Now it wont work at all. I have the apn set to epc.tmobile.com. It work in windows which also has it set to epc.tmobile.com. I also recently did the orientation fix from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=803242
I thought maybe that could have been the culpret but i copied the origional hyperdroid files (zimage, cifs.ko,tun.ko,bcm4329.ko) and it still didn't fix it. And honestly i cant remember if the internet work before i did the orientation fix or not.
Tech specs of phone;
android 2.2.1
kernel: 2.6.32.15r8.2-gb9e0all
bb: 15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14

[Q] How to change Defauly country in HTC HD2 Tmobile

Hi
I have HTC HD2 T Mobile whic was offficially unloacked by T-Mobile when I moved from USA to India.
Here the phone is working well on Vodafone nw.However I have following problems :-
1.1800 seriesnos in India - Unable to dial. It shows as 1(800)... & never connects.
2. Most of local cel nos 098....doesn't connect.I tried +9198...., 098.... but no luck. Some neetwork like Tata & Reliance work well.
Anyone can suggest a solution?

I think installing a custom ROM would sort this, read before proceeding though

You might have to dial 01191 + the number, that is the normal way to access India from the US. But that seems strange, because the access numbers should be via your local phone provider. I'm assuming you changed your SIM chip...
Be careful of custom ROMS - your T-mobile HD2 is different from the international version and will not accept a world wide ROM. The ROM has to be made for T-Mobile US.

Yes please make sure if you use a custom Rom that its made for your US model some can be used for both

My problem is limited to some nos. Most of the nos I can dial. Thats what puzzles me.
Like Blackberry, where you select the country prefix in settings, can I select the country in HD2? Or is there some registry tweak to solve this? I am using an India SIM card. There is no issue with SIM as I am able to dial all nos using same SIM in a different phone.
Is there a ROM update for T-Mobile HD2? Pl help with links...

I just flashed to wp7 and can receive and send texts but i am unable to establish a data connection. would this be a problem with the radio I flashed. I have a US hd2 and may have originally flashed a no us one at first but i have since flashed a US version but the data connection is still missing. Any help would be appreciated

RUn the HTC connection setup XAP
or manually add your APN settings found in the cellular section under settings

Htc connection setup can be found in marketplace, access through wifi, install and run

Sorry I can not help you get your data working but i just wanted to tell you something. you did not install a nonTMOUS radio I am sure of this because if you would have flashed a non TMOUS radio you would have a bricked HD2 right now.

i wonder if he does have a 1024 version of the HD2, you can get a US version with 512, if he did have a 1024 version and did flash a non TMOUS radio it would be shagged, so yeah....your right

[Q] MMS and RECEPTION problem

Hey guys~ I just recently got Android ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=881958) on my HD2 and I was having problems sending and recieving MMS. So I started reading the forums and found out that I had to change my APN settings. I have been trying several combinations and none have worked so far. On top of that, I have lost my reception completely so I can not make or receive calls/texts.
Anyone got any ideas?

You know, asking the right questions will get you the right result. More importantly what carrier are you on? Do you have data plan? What radio have you flash? What ROM/build are you using?

Hi, I have the same problems, I'm with the 2.08.HSPL, Radio 2.15, MAGLDR 1.13, ROM TyphooN 3.2.6 I'm with an Italian operator called TIM, I tryed installing APN from an app of Android Market that automatically configures it.. But no way..

[Q] Urgent - no Internet ?!

Hey,
since friday my phone wants to anger me. i used the stock miui rom with an language pack and suddenly i've got no mobile network anymore..
i reflashed the rom - nothing. Cause i had trouble more times with miui and internet i switched back to CM7 where all worked well.. but now theres also no internet connection
is it possible that some hardware is defect? cause i tried out 4 roms and all dont have any mobile connection (gps / wlan works well).
please help me :/

In your CM7 rom, go into Settings/Wireless/ Mobile Networks/APN Settings.
Get to where you can see what your APN settings are, and write them down EXACTLY as they are.
Then reflash the MIUI rom, and input the APN settings exactly as they are written down, and your internet should work.
