[INFO] Bluetooth Keyboard/Mouse Test [vid] - Eee Pad Transformer General

first off, sorry for the poor video quality: already invested in a new digicam, but it's coming from japan, so i should have it in a couple weeks
so... i went ahead and tested out the bt mouse and keyboard connectivity on the transformer...
both peripherals simply work and paired without any issues... the scrolling on the mouse is capable throughout the whole ui and most relevant apps such as polaris and dolphin browser... the right click acts as the "back" command as it should...
not much to say about the keyboard besides the fact that since it gets recognized as a keyboard and not just a "generic input device," the sw keyboard gets disabled [just like if you were to pair the device with ASUS' own keyboard dock]...
ps- i searched for "brooms" on amazon :^]

I am using my pure with a Ps3 bluetooth keypad. It is really cool.
You'd have too see it .I will post pic later.I had a fuze and I miss the hardware keyboard.also you can dial the phone remotely and also use bt earpeice at the same time.I am using duttys holy grail roms they are excellent. The keypad looks like something batman would own.they sell them everywhere.
How do you pair this with a window mobile phone???
I'd like to get the IGo Stowaway for my Pure. It's only $24-$30 right now.

optical looking audio plug?

Ok my Mac Mini of all sorts had an Optical out port that almost exactly like the Headphone jack port on my phone, (black dot at the bottom of the headphone jack) So I'm wondering if it's a feature not mentioned but I couldn't find anything in the tear downs of the phone.
I know it seems silly and like a power hog option but was wondering..
picture of the said cable type that would be used.

what would you even plan on doing with that? plugging an audio out from a computer into a phone seems incredibly pointless.
I do agree unless you are a dj and have the nexus one or a 5000 sound system and want perfect clarity.
like I said seems silly but from the looks of the plug it could be one.

Audio box ?

A couple of the guys at work dabble in audio stuff; boxes, speakers, homemade amps. etc.
Does anyone here do the same ? Have you made a dock for your N1 ? What about at work ? Headphones are ok and all, but sometimes, you just want to make some noise !
Pictures help ...
I made a dock for my phone out of the box that it came with. I found an old ipod dock with some small speakers in it and a business card holder and I created my very own dock out of the box.
I'm planning on writing a blog post on it soon, with details on how I made it and will probably end up posting about it here again, but since you created this topic I felt the need to share.

"The two devices look great together, as you can see above, but they work well together too. The keyboard works, of course, but so does the touchpad, volume keys, and mouse/OK button (long press for right-click function)."
Imagine if we could pair our HD2's to this keybord... it would be so cool with a working keyboard with working mouse and volume buttons.
Can it be done??
Brgds... /Tubgirl
Hmm... Am I the only one who thought this was really cool?
If I knew this would work on the HD2 I would run our and buy that keyboard today already.
That keyboard feel like it was made from cheap plastic. I almost bough one for my PS3 but decided not to because of how it feels after about 10 minutes of use.

A500 USB port and ps2 keyboard?

I have a funny setup - love it, actually... I am using a A200 right now and as luck would have it, my 20+ year old buckling spring IBM tank PS2 keyboard works perfectly via the active ps2/usb adapter into the USB port, right out of the box. I haven't seen many tablets with full sized USB ports, but I do see the A500 has it and I assume it should also drive the usb adapter since the A200 does fine. Can anyone confirm that? I dig being able to use my ancient mechanical clicky key keyboard with a newer tab - but would like a little more hot speced tab.
