Click to collapse
Yeah it's kinda weird, I would also really appreciate a solution.
I'd say you'll have to live with it. It's more of a process that the browser goes through when you click from page to page than a performance issue of the browser. I've seen this happen since I first got my G1.
Well that sucks... but I can live with it

Browser problems

Hello
I'm having problems with the internet browser. It used to function properly but recently it began presenting me with the squares and circles in place of words on all webpages.
Has anyone had similar problems? Or does anyone have a solution?
Thank you
Man.
I'm also experiencing this, for the last week or so, but only when using the quick search box on the internet tab of TF3D which loads pages "designed for mobile use". If the full Opera browser is launched pages load properly. I haven't begun to try and find out more about it yet.
I can't get it to work at all, internet tab or Opera. If you find a solution could you post it please.
Thank you
Anyone else with the problem?
Had the same problem but only when going to a site through the browser search function, if I manually enter the site address then no problem.
Same problem here for a couple of weeks. Thought it was the rom i was using so reflashed another and had the same problem.
Went into settings and enabled plugin's and havnt experienced it again yet. However im sure i tried this before flashing it again. May just be coincidence.
There is more people complaing on a google forum. Though not much info. Google "zeros and squares opera" to find it.
Hi, this started happening for me shortly after I got my phone about 3 weeks ago, I believe this is caused by Google's formatting of the pages, when you use the default search link, google reformats the pages for mobile. It worked at first for me, but then I started getting the squares/circles thing... Don't think it is a topaz/opera issue as after a hard reset it was the same. Figure something is up with google's mobile formatting currently.
If you go to the bottom of a page with the squares/circles etc. you should see the google link, so page is being displayed via google, it should say, "display as mobile or full page" or something like that, if you tell it just to show you full pages then the issue goes away.... but you are not getting the advantage of reduced size pages...

[Q] legacyschool.us.to website down?

Hey everyone,
So I've been getting a ton of messages on my YouTube channel stating that the legacyschool.us.to website is down. This was the main site where the CWR image could be downloaded from. I also used this site to get the EasyADB program to enable ADB for the NC.
I was just curious if anyone knew what was up with that site. Did something happen to it? I linked to this site in a lot of videos I made and I had to change it to another mirror. Not a huge deal, but I was wondering what happened to it.
Test link: http://legacyschool.us.to/nookdev/clockwork/0.1-ext4/
Thanks,
Alex
[This should have gone into the Q&A section, my apologies.]
Yup, down for me. Was trying to use it last night actually.

[Q] issue watching xda on a computer

anybody else having this issue?
today suddenly i can't use xda on my computer..
sort of..
i can log in but where i mostly can see how many pages a topic has behind the topic title and immediately go to the last page for instance now those pages are gone.
i can click the topic title and it opens but all i can see is the main/first post, all other posts are invisible, i can't see any page numers on the top or bottom and i see a button on the top wwich says thread closed.
but the strange thing is i can access every topic/and see all the pages thru tapatalk on my mobile..
is there anybody that has a clue what's wrong?
thanks in advance for all the help!
edit:
never mind, i got it working again.. it's still really strange because i haven't changed anything but it had something to do with the option how to display threads. i went back and forth changing some settings and suddenly it's back in the old setup.
but hey, who cares.. it's working again!

I'm getting "Website unavailable"
Click to collapse
Something with server provider
Web host has a green checkmark, so it's not that. It's something with the website itself.
But now it's taking too long since it started to be unavailable. At least for a past few days.
I regret that very much, because the site had very valuable info, and I need it like.. yesterday.
Guess I'll have to use Google's cached pages before that gets unavailable too.
Thanks anyway.
Still website not working, any alternative?

Browse through google cached pages like I did. Long and painful process for finding any info. Better to forget it, and move along...
Came here to comment on the same thing, Anyone know anything?
I was wondering what happened too... this was the only site I knew of to find x620 roms.
