WM 6.5 _ HELP on CAMERA!

Install the topaz camera instead of the rhodium one?
Use dutty's 5mp rhodium camera hack!
Moved out of DEV
did you change the fullscreen mode ?
if not, the resolution is lower cause something cut off

camera only take pics in portrait mode, why?

hi all. i have dutty's r9 installed in my blackstone, which is a great rom btw, but i didn't like to lose the zoom in the upgraded camera, so i reinstalled the original hd camera app.
zoom came back and camera seems to be working fine, but now the shots that i take are not being saved in landscape mode anymore. i tried two different cabs of the original camera and this is happening in both of them. any ideas of how to fix it?
thanks in advance.
man, no one knows? plz, this is annoying me. =(

[SOLVED]Topaz WM6.5.5 camera problem

I cooked my rom using the latest Da G WM6.5.5 SYS
All works fine, except the htc camera.
Wen I open my camera, all is fine, but if I take a picture or if I take a landscape picture, wen the camera rotates the screen is all black, sometimes all I can see is a little square in the middle of the screen.
Does anybody knows of a fix?
btw: im using the latest S2 drivers and packages
See screen shots attached.
Thanks and regards
MOD Edit: Solved issue
i have the same issue with the HTC mega camera but i nevertake it so much importance due to the dependacies in htc mega pkgs... this is interesting
what sensor sdk are you using....the one from S2 that matches camera?
Thanks for the reply.
Yes iam using the sensor sdk from the s2 rom that matches the camera, in fact im using all the ext packages from the s2 rom.
In WM6,5 (com3 I think) it works fine, just in wm6.5.5 that this happens.

i guess its possible that it could be the sensor sdk you are using not being compatible with wm 6.5.5, you should at least try the one from rhodium 2.07 and see if it works...i dont have this problem with rhodium S2. also you could try another camera from topaz that you know has worked for you in the past..maybe an older one and see if it will work with your current configuration to help narrow down the problem.
Hi,
Maybe you can try Topaz camera instead of Rhodium.
If I'm not mistaking the camera is depended on streamingsdk, mhub and dshow as well.
I finally got the camera to work proper
I had some auto gyrator reg edits messing with it
Thanks for the help guys

Hiii there, i have same problem with my HD, could you teach me step by step how to fix this problem? Big thanks to you all, master..

[Q] Autofocus on HD2 (video recording)

Sorry for my English...
Hi..
I have a question.. why the WM and now android does not working autofocus during recording? but the WM7 - HD2 is not problem (autofocus working absolutly normal) so I ask where is ptroblem? why is the WM 6.5 and Android is not functional ? the question is specific to software it already or root in the heart of OS ... ?
this feature I would very welcome ...
Thank you for answering
I can also confirm, shoot videos is much better than on WM6.5.
Autofocus works reliably and it is only beta WP7
I focus so much about HD2's recording video with autofocus ability but up to now, there are not ROM Android can do it
