Last I checked, it explicitly says "Reoriented Sense" kernel in the title, and last I checked, there was only one Sense port currently being worked on.

Doesn't matter, it's only to gain access to recovery. Once they release alpha 2, recovery is fixed and you'll be able to just flash straight from the rom, without odin.

Its in the exact same shape as the i9000 port. If they release diffs/sources for v0.2 when they release it, I'll incorporate it over here.

No. Most of the files are device agnostic anyway. Just follow their instructions, to the letter.

I HAVE SENSE!!! lol,it booted up,running fine. it gave me the little (omg im bricked) computer and triangle error at first but then went to the htc boot screen and booted on up! thanks for this,of course ill only keep it until the morning because i need internet connection but its really nice to have it. you are the man!

No, because these should be functionally identical to the nightly builds. It's just a preference of optimized vs non-optimized builds.

No. RA needs to die. CyanogenMod and ClockworkMod recovery moved on to edify scripting a long time ago.

On the epic 4g touch forums, I got a new phone not long ago. I've been doing a little development on there, haven't posted anything yet (been developing for myself for now, to practice.) Maybe I will stop through here n try my hand at rom building, I have a rom I want to try to make. I haven't been using my tab as much since I got this phone (its got a 4.5 in. screen!!!) And since I broke the glass on my Iconia. Still works fine, but lately I've just been using my Iconia for Netflix while I use my phone. I want to do something a little extreme, namely get touchwiz running on the Iconia (not a port of the whole rom, just tw)

Not at all, its purely cosmetic. The LCD is untouched and the touchscreen works fine. Its been broken since about august, and still works perfectly, just looks ugly

I currently am running Thors rom v. 14.2, and it comes with his kernel. Do you know if that kernel will work with his? There are some apps for the Acer that wont work with his rom because it is recognized as an asus

"If you want to flash another kernel with this ROM, you do so at your own risk. I have no idea who's kernel will work with this ROM."
If you flash this ROM according to the directions in the OP, you'll be fine though

There's no "insert sim card" nag on this ROM, unless you've installed it on an A501, or didn't follow the explicit install instructions in the OP.

I agree too. Its a really cool concept but knowing me I'll fat-finger it and screw something up. Recovery is NOT a place I want to make mistakes. I'll still try it out cause it is a really cool idea.

"unofficial" is beta version that has some problem, "official" is perfect version that has no problem.

I've honestly lost count of all your posts that offer absolutely nothing helpful or relevant to the discussion.
I understand theres not much of a point to this. The main reason for this thread is cm10 as all the other cm10 roms don't have the stock cm kernel. But since I build the other ones anyways i figured I'd post them. And I'll post install instructions.

Because this is the only cm10 rom with the stock cm kernel. I meant there was not much reason to post any of the other builds

You'll likely receive a lot of flak over re-hosting/posting stuff as you've seen thus far, but if you're offering something you've re-worked in any way(which is what I understand you're doing) then I'd stick with just that and link to other threads in your OP if necessary.
If you compiled from CM10 source here we have CM10 kernel for Captivate (no datadata partition).
This is very interesting.
Thank you very much: if compiling went well this is really an important step for JB on Cappy and now we can run also official Pawitp builds.

Yes this is compiled from source specifically for the captivate.
And compiles with no errors
Ok so i have attempted a port of the galaxy note 10.1 jellybean rom, using CM10 as a base i have run into a bootloop you can download this link and try it out also will be my logcat
also if you can tell me how to fix this i would be happy to do it too

Have you tried other kernel, like eztery or godmachine's kernel?

no if you have it can you please try, I don't feel like installing another kernel, but will work on it

Did you split your boot.img and change the ramdisk image and such? While retaining the 500 kernel?
If you are going to port something, this is one of the basics.
Just changing a few hardware files, won't work.

No i knew i forgot something, did you read the logcat, i dont read logcat but i think it said that it had a memory error

Well, you said it all, probably there is no memory in the the place the kernel is trying to setup its stack, is your kernel an A500 one or is it from another machine with a different memory layout? because it smells like the latter.

Sorry to say this but you are a very unstable person, you already made another thread some time ago regarding MIUI in the iconia A500 but you did not finish anything and you quit and now the same thing happens again. You only make people get insterested in something and then you abandon the arena. This is very disgusting and rude for people who try to believe in the developers' work . But Moscow Desire gave you another chance but you did not take advantage of this oportunity-.
