any chance i could get a flash to remove the power controls in the pull down menu? I keep bluetooth on all the time and have never used wifi so its kinda pointless for me the only one if ever use is screen brightness and i dont mind 1 widget on a screen

Yeah if you get some pull behind this i wouldnt mind at all. Dont mean to single you out and say one person isnt enough, but with school and this i dont have a ton of time left for partying so......

I would love this too. I really hate power controls built in to roms, unless theres a way to turn it off.
Anyone know if there's issues changing the lcd density in this ROM? I've found it in a few now.

I myself havent tried it, but i would be happy to know what the case is.
It said that the am/pm was removed I did a clean install still there any ideas

I only did that for the themed version, so it is included in that twisted + Linear zip. i havent made more mods yet to truely customize things like that in my clean version just yet. but they are coming.

This is based off the AOSP Froyo Beta 4 ROM with some added CyanogenMod extras. Originally the ROM was being maintained by designgears with help from gtg465x; however, that thread is now closed.
Since that chapter is over, I decided to start a new one. No more beta ROMs. This runs wonderfully, looks great, and is open to anyone who wants to contribute!

Is this based off the last CDE-AOSP that DG put out? If so, it's as close as we're going to get to a true AOSP until source is released...but it isn't real, honest to goodness AOSP.
Edit: And not to nitpick (really!) but the inclusion of ADW as the default launcher is enough to make it non-AOSP...just sayin'.
It looks nice, though! There's a lot of people out there who want that AOSP look and feel and no one else seems to be working in that direction right now except for gdanko's 2.2.1 project. Keep up the good work.
I think what he means by real is aosp using the source code. Since we don't have it this is basically a theme with aosp accents.

These are some additional mods i made for you guys. All these are flashable zips. Please make a nandroid backup before flashing.
COMPLETELY REMOVE SENSE UI *UPDATED*
**I added a couple things back that broke voice search and other misc. items**
This will completely remove all remnants of Sense UI that can be uninstalled. Obviously contacts, dialer, etc. are still there. Make a nandroid backup before flashing so you can return to sense if you would like. This will also install the 2.3 GB launcher and Widgetpicker.apk. You can easily uininstall the gb launcher as well. Flash in recovery. Enjoy!

Okay guys, now that I spent most of my free time this weekend mucking around in our frameworks, it is time to release the beta version of Matte HD for you guys. I hope you enjoy my hours of piddling.

This theme is framework only right now, and I'm not even totally happy with it yet. In the coming versions I will be reworking the status bar and pulldown, theming more aspects of the UI, Dialer, etc. As always, it's up to you guys to weigh in on what direction you would like this theme to go. More color, less color, etc. Just let me know! The best feature so far of this theme is the modded AOSP lockscreen. I reworked the xmls so that now the AOSP lockscreen background image will be whatever is default_wallpaper.jpg in your framework. To get the effect pictured above I made a wallpaper with a transparent rip through it so that you're homescreen wallpaper shows through which creates a great effect. I also nuked all the text besides the clock. I will be posting a tutorial in a day or so as well as a PSD so that we can make different lockscreen images and use metamorph to quickly apply them.

Quick question. When I flashed it I had a neat wallpaper pop up that I hadn't seen before...but it went away when my normal wallpaper loaded up >.<

i would like to see a basic transparent pull down with no power widgets or rescent apps and also remove the verizon wireless text and make the box the text is in transparent ( like around the clear button) but still keep the new batt icon and 6 bar signal
and i would also like to see your pandora from you fascinate rom include

It is the same ROM that is listed in the Das BAMF thread (the themed version), this thread is so that we ask questions and get assistance with the themed parts and not the overall ROM.

The verizon wireless edit was wreaking havoc with the frameworks that's why I reverted it back. You guys also want one with no toggles?
I like the power control in the drop down but the white just seems out of place (unless you have another notification). Black with white icons or the tinted clear background like the rest of the pull-down shade would be an amazing change...

Looks good, but flashed so many goodies today on the remix I can't change now, lol.
Nice, the best ROM on the TB just hit a wider audience. Sense has grown on me though and I have no desire to leave BAMF remix
Haha good to hear it guys, this should hold over the purists. Will update accordingly with the others but should need way less "supervision" in this thread.. It's the tried and true base with no sense to confuse anyone. I'd like for someone versed in Android to help moderate this thread. PM me if ya wanna help out.

The battery mods will work with this ROM but will also theme this ROM with the Remix pulldown as it is all located in framework-res.apk. If you are okay with losing the pulldown in the above screenshot, by all means flash away.
PS: NOW, I'm goin' to bed.
Dammit. BAMF remix is so good and all the mods... Oh well downloading now ROFL.

Started clicking around, disabled auto sync and some other things (not sure what) but it seems like it's not auto dl now.

I can't seem to get it working either.
FactoryROM is a new Android Developers group consisting of MyComputerDoctor, orkillakilla, and Grand Prix. I'm getting a ghosting effect when I choose a different skin and the text in the notification bar is black and barely readable when I get notificatons. Just two things I've noticed in the two hours running but so far very fast and smooth.

What do you mean by "ghost effect"? and can you take some screenshots for us so we know exactly what's going on?

Describe the ghosting effect? I have never noticed it. And the black text is being addressed tonight.
Looking forward to trying this. Whats the differnce with this and Gingerbreaton 1.1?? Or the new one is teaked up more. I hope you guys use lock screen 3.0 in future

This ROM is a combination of Gingerbreaton and KillaSense out under the FactoryROM brand. We have talked about adding the 3.0 lockscreen in the future. We will keep you updated.

I'll upload a sepcific file to fix that, you're using a theme that has transparency and the framework does not support transparency on the default rom. I'm uploading a fix for the black text now you guys will NOT have to wipe data to update it, I'll upload a flashable zip for those who want transparent themes.

Like orka said, combination of our roms. Has some tweaks from his rom I did not know about that I really like and power control widgets. Has his and my heart in soul in it, you should enjoy it.

anytime - couple of minor bugs but thats all understanable - will have to spend some dedicated time and let the dev know...

Flashed and running it , VERY customisable ....even more than a standard AOKP build. Apex launcher as default with a landscape dock as standard.
Loving it so far ! Lil bit buggy but still usable. ( Icons , wallpaper and widgets not in the ROM )

My Initial Thoughts
Well I'm extremely annoyed - I was promised a few bugs (OP) and there are none! Drat! I wiped everything within an inch of it's life, then flashed the ROM followed by inverted gapps. I have not had one force close, no burps, no screen flicker, nada, nothing bad in 6 hours of heavy running.
This ROM is as smooth as , well, teflon - easily the equal of any CM10 I have tried. I noted with pleasure the toggles and particularly the "put the screen to sleep toggle" (I like to save mechanical switches whenever possible) and I can never understand why other devs don't include this very simple toggle.
Truth is, I will be using this as my DD on my GTP3113 - I'm not sure that any significant improvement is warranted.

I'll be sure to pass this over to the dev - I flashed this morning, tinkered with some settings, etc. Haven't tried the inverted apps nor tried to drop Jonsels awesome kernel on it - wanted to let the dev know if anything came across this forum, I'd be more than happy to relay over to him, etc.

The camera is borked - I think this true for CM10 generally (no way to exit app) so I d/l'd Camera JB+ and will use that. Only issue so far.

camera's working fine for me
This rom is really nice. I flashed the inverted gapps and after several hours of steady use I haven't even had a stutter. Kangorade was the very first rom I flashed on this tab and this is the only one I've used since with this many features. Amazing job guys. Best alpha ever...

Only major issue I had when I first flashed it was, Superuser was having problems allowing permissions and it froze up once or twice and had to do a hard reboot.But it seems to have settled in now and is playing nice. Froze up a few times initially when using some apps as well Maybe it was a bad flash from AOKP ? who knows ....
Really Impressed with it so far , nice to mess about with and customise that little bit more than you can with AOKP. Pretty cool you can edit build.props ( even though i use Rom Toolbox to do it , but a good feature to have none the less).Themes work well on the ROM.
Apex in landscape is a blessing !!!! Customisable settings menu as well . For the first build its pretty damn good , will be my ROM of choice that's for sure.Cant wait for the next builds to be released.
Only thing that i can fault is when you install an app and the icon is added automatically to your home page it seems to be cut off at the bottom , but deleting the icon and adding it from the app drawer again remedies that problem ( anyone else have that ?) Not sure it that's a problem with Apex as I'm using a theme on it with custom Icons.
On the navigation bar when you add new icons they show as "reflected " in the selection menu but don't seem to work in reality , but I'm making some new ones that you can add pretty much exactly the same as the ones in the ROM with a reflection, anyone wants them send me PM and i will send them over.Got a few more to do but wont take that long.
Apart from that its a sweet ROM ! Loving it big time

You're always left out on these. I was flashing 3100s on my 3113 but obviously mine has no phone function :silly:
I'm digging this so far. Can't seem to find anything wrong except for getting the screen to rotate when using trebuchet. Besides that all is hunky doory. Thanks! :thumbup:
