Did you flash to the latest baseband version xxx15?
If not flash your X8.. instructions is here..

I have the xx15 baseband.. its still not work.
so in stock rom, where did u find its working.
it fail on dmesg | grep X8Gesture.
fail on multitouch visual, maps, galery, browser, angry bird.

It doesn't work in stock browser but will work on opera/angry birds etc. I'm talking about stock rom. This is not real multitouch, it's fake, so you have to do it like in the video put one finger and then the second and it will work, also you should put the second finger oposed to the first and not in a straight line.

It works every where if you install it....
Stock browser just dont support pinch zoom.
(Try also to active it while you are opening the notificarions, and see what fanny thing happends.)

i tried with minicm rc2 who also comes with dualtouch enabled, but it doesnt work... maybe is a problem with my phone hardware...
anyway, i will try racht's rom
does it come with real dual touch i.e can i use it in games ?!!

no, it's a fake dualtouch, only for zoom
I give up, tried racht's rom, jerpelea's rom and ponanovn minicm who are supposed to have preinstalled the module and... it doesn't work!! , tried also with the new version of the module by andrej456 (manual installation on my stock SE rom E15A 2.1.1.A.0.6 baseband xx15) and nothing happens...
a shame.. im thinking that is a hardware related problem, i bought my phone on march, maybe it has diferent hardware :S (i really dont know about that kind of things...)

Same tried every rom going and each and every module. Auto install, manual install, even tried a friends xrecovery backup. E15i bought in March 2011 Must be hardware....

I had try to custom floyo roms on my phone and its succes..,but why its so many bug and error.,for the sample, radio fm its dissapear.,camera cannt work,some application with force close sometime,flash player can instal but cant use and force close when me plug in its,n64oid cant instal,and its be reboot it self..,so many bugs..,its nice rom but to many bugs..,any one know what the best custom roms and where i can get it?..thank yours so much for give me a suggestion..

before you install custom rom,you should read what works and not working..and x8 cant use flash player...maybe you can try minicm rc2...the only thing that does work on it is compass..
try to factory reset / full wipe
for me,its really stable,only a few bugs,likes 'sdcard safe removed' issue after heavy-usage phone

Try miniCM. It's the most stable rom, atm. Compass dont work, but everything else does.
Issuse with sd card safe to remove is on all custom xperia series rom, due to custom kernel is not finshed yet, bootloader not cracked yet.

some of the things you mentioned aren't actually bugs, it's just we can't get flash and n64oid working on our devies, ony any roms, because the armv7 cpu is needed, these apps don't support armv6 devices. btw, you can install n64oid on 2.3 roms, however the app gets FC after loading a rom.

MiniCM is the best right now but dont jump to RC2 yet . there are a lot of other roms developed using minicm base like the nexus rom which have been uploaded by the devs . spend some time reading through the development forum to get the idea.
They all have the standard bugs tho. Elelinux is supposed to best in terms of random bugs but minicm has everything working including camera and hd video recording.
P.S - gingerbread roms are also really good but there are some sacrifices to be made there .

There is no multitouch or dualtouch yet. Download andrej version gesture x8 it works pretty well its not like pinch zoom ... in andrejs just put 2 fingers at the same time and it works ( this is just zooming in and out ) i hope i help you ... i am noob in android but i know something ;p

thanks for response, btw i was talkn bout the same pinch zoom feature bt mentioned it as dual or multi touch coz most of them do..... nd i wantd the guide to intsl dt update. i installed it using xrecovery bt nothing happened... so need help...!!! do i need to install the gesture file, if yes how..?

Because I love Racht's CM7-85 and I don't want to change rom, can anyone tell me what are the camera and led notifications libs or whatever needed to get the camera(VGA) and led notifications to work? I've seen that they both work in XGin 2.0-3.0...

thanks but it didn't work...I copied these files +libcamera_client.so, changed permissions, but it says can't connect to camera...
anyway, I guess I can't do that...lets hope that racht will fix it...

well,their thread says it turns the hw accelerator on....but i havnt tested it....wait let me preare an updater script..

It's the one I tried yesterday, but it won't work.
I have flash player 11 but works wery well on my x8.
Dont install FP as system app [wont work]. Just install and dont move to Sd card.

What do you mean? I don't move it to SD card, but I install it like any other app (using Astro or another file manager)

sure, remember extract the lib files and push to data / data / find the flashplayer files and put into the lib files inside. reboot the wipe cache , d. cache , reboot .
