[GUIDE] Flashing Your First HD2 NAND Android Rom [For Newbs]

Another day another self confessed "n00b" decides to override common sense, common sense which would dictate that when you enter a forum you read the sticky threads and use search before asking an OBVIOUS FAQ!!!
Plus you've posted in a development forums when these forums are clearly for posting dev projects, not for asking questions when we have a dedicated question forum.

Question answered in post2. If you have anymore questions please post in that thread.

How about creating a sticky n00b guide?

Just got my hd2 today and looking through the boards im confused.
i understand theres new roms, loads of extensions and some critical apps but i dont know where to start.
Could someone please create a new thread thats just for n00bs, that gives an up to date guide for getting the best out of a factory fresh hd2?
im not talking about anything too specific, just the latest (or best.most stable/fastest) rom (and how to flash) and some general guidance as to the most popular apps to install off the bat (theres got to be some commonality there).
thanks guys!
there are at least three sticky guides to rom flashing on the rom development section, the hints and tips sticky in this section is also a first stop.
as to questions like"best rom"..that's a completely subjective question...everyone has their favorite.
course, if you wanna write a new guide no one will complain!

[Q] Bluetooth issue with NDT SENSE 3.0 PYRAMID BASED V5.0

Hy everybody,
first of all, I'm sorry for the very bad english, I come from Italy and studied english some years ago...
I've built the NDT SENSE 3.0 PYRAMID BASED V5.0 rom this morning, and had an issue with bluetooth... I'd like to associate my HD2 europe with a Cellular Line BTC6 bluetooth headset I bought a month ago... When I used it with the Typhoon Cyanogenmod 7 I had no problem at all, but now with the new rom I can't associate it anymore... I think this issue is caused by the fact that the headset is bluetooth 2.0, and in settings->hardware info of my phone is written bluetooth 3.0 instead, but I don't think it's 3.0 indeed. What can I do?? I hope you can understand, but if not, please tell me and I'll try to explain in a better way my problem...
Thank you in advance,
greetings
Francesco
HD2 has Bluetooth 2.0 I think...
Hmm maybe you should post that in the thread of the ndt rom because they can help you better than the common guys here
Maybe the rom has Bluetooth issues since its a sense 3.0 rom, but as I said the dev or anybody else reading the ndt pyramid thread can help you better I think.

I fully agree with you, but I can't post my question in the NDt thread because if I try, this is what appears to me:

You Can Contact Me On Skype At corbo987corbin or message me on here
1. Please search before posting
2. Please use decent grammar, one long sentence is actually rather difficult to read
You expect us to read your post yet you quite clearly haven't read anything at all before posting this question. If you had searched in any way (your question is essentially 'how do I flash NAND Android?' you would have found tonnes of threads asking the exact same thing and numerous guides. I've found this to be the best guide.
This post is wrong in so many ways:
1- Your title is not descriptive.
2- You didn't search before making your post.
3- Your grammar makes reading your post very hard, and you are using incorrect terms. (wtf is tand? sp?) .. I know you mean sd & nand, but you should care for your readers.
4- You want us, to contact you, on Skype, and guide you through the installation? haha, sure, we will .
^Fix these and I am sure you won't even need our help. (considering you've done #2)

be reliable to run.

Any advice will be appreciate

Hello,
The place where you posted this post, is intended for development only, i.e. no questions should be asked here. Please, for any further questions use the HD2 Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and General section.
To your question: We really can't tell which version would be good for you as it differs from one person to another, but you can read this post I made a while back that should help you decide which version to choose. That post also tells you how to dual boot if you want to.
And please use the search tool next time. If you had used the search, you would have found the same post I linked you to as well as many other threads that ask the same questions and get the following answer: "There is no best ROM."
