i was download the chinese version, it was a error when i flashing it country ID error, please help me out of this. i was get the rom from FTP

i came across a branded HTC dual touch but its got all these branded software and stuff but i dont like it..
i have try downloaded the original rom but when it tries to update, it just stops at 1% and then saids error this rom is not for your device..
can someone direct me to the right area i am a newbie..
