Hi I thought it was impossible to brick my xperia X10i since the bootloader is locked. I was experimenting with a latest MODROM and after installation tried for root permission through Z4. Then everything went wrong. Stuck on Sony logo.
I switched off the phone and then tried to repair by SEUS; didn't work.And then tried to flash through flash tool ( attached is the error msg). In both ways I'm getting error msg.
Now when I switch on my phone the sony logo comes briefly then a triangle with an exclamation mark within and the phone becomes black.
Does anyone have any ideas ?? Please help
MOD you can pls delete this thread. I tried again with SEUS repair,this time removing my microSD card and it worked

Hi everybody,
It seems that the root procedure I used went wrong!
My Note was perfectly working but I miss some "root" applications, that I was used to on my SGS2...
So I used this tutorial to root my phone:

Once the procedure complete, the phone was booting, boot animation, White samsung glowing on black screen and finally rebooting!
I don't know what went wrong... I try to reflash the stock firmware KJ4, without pit, and it removes the yellow triangle, but the phone is still stucked at bootscreen, and rebooting and rebooting again!
Please help me? What can I do? Is it really good for trash? Whould be my first...

Try flashing from Odin with the pit file.
I tried that, seems not to work at first glance...
Then I return in diagnostic mode and do factory reset and wipe and finally...
IT BOOTED!

i installed ics pureness via cwm wiped everything and rebooted the phone but it got stuck on the first boot logo and stays like that for hours.. also it is not getting detected by flashtool and any other softwares.. plz help me unbrick my phone
I assume you've tried reinstalling the ROM using CWM?

I've once flashed the stock rom to my Lenovo device because it had stopped working and was in a boot loop. That was successful but then it broke again. Then I tried doing the same thing again, but this time the SP Flash Tool gets stuck at 32-35% and then gives me the same error every time. I always get error 4008 and now when I try turning it on it prompts the Lenovo logo screen but in the corner it shows => TOOL DL image Fail.

Having the same problem I have followed all the fix in youtube but none of them fix it, i hope someone will help us to get rid with this.
suddenly my x compact just died in a very strange way, i have photos which i need to recover from it before i good use xperia companion to reset the phone..
tried to boot a twrp image ,but by the looks of it since my bootloader is locked ,its just says that verfication failed and reboots
recap:flashtool is saying that it failed to load file:too many links ,cant seem to understand what it is
I have a Nokia 6 Model TA-1033
In the middle of an OS update the phone seems to have bricked itself. When I power on the device it gets stuck on the powered by android screen and goes no further. Even with phone plugged into a charger no recharging icon is shown.
When I go into recover mode and select factor reset I get an error message "failed to find a device for partition system"
Is the phone bricked or is there some way to flash a new stock rom?

Is there a ROM I can put on the SD card and then install from card via the boot loader. I have been searching from a file to download but cant find anything for a TA-1033.

Did it happen while installing april patch ?

Yes it happended wit the last OTA update.
Now when I beet it goes to the powered by android screen, but when I try to get it into bootloader the android bot flashes on screen then dissapears.
