I have installed CM 7 RC2 on my Legend.
The Google Apps I have installed using the ROM manager, but I can not start the market and i can't create a Google Account.
The android market opens and a second later the Homescreen appears again....
plz help me... and sorry for my bad english....

which country are you from?
it seems that you are from a sanctioned country and couldn't reach market from your country's ip addresses

My HTC Legend have Google maps 3.4 factory intalled,
Anyone have problem with installing Google Maps 4.1 on Legend? cant find in Android Market, tried from google's site unsuccessfully .

i had no problems installing the update to 4.1
The Legend is experiencing problems with some apps. The problem seems to be that the Legend model is not know yet by some localized Markets.
In the Netherlands apps like Layar, and Hyves can;t be found on the market or installed manually, Google Earth doesn't boot up. And in your case updates aren;t successful.
The problem is know by google and HTC and is being worked on. The reason seems to be that the Legend isn;t available everywhere till April.
I'm using Legend in English language and so far no problems with apps at all. Update to the Google Maps 4.1 was smooth as expected.

No problem here in Italy. As soon as I went in Android market, in download section I found the mark "upgrade available" for google maps.
It's running fine; I believe (as somebody else has already wrote) the market is depending by the county. Probably yr country is in queue to get the update

I think here in Europe is only 4.0 available as 4.1 working only in USA (for now )...
Earth doesnt boot, anyone manages otherwise?
Google maps 4.1 installed from the marketplace without a hitch. I'm in France.

I´m terribly searching for a google stock calendar *.apk (checked the XDA search, google...sadly with no success).
...I switched from Biffmod to MDJ Desire HD and now I´m missing the native nice/simple/white google calendar...really don´t like the HTC Sense alternative
Is there a possibility to get the old (Nexus?) calendar back?
what you can do is to download the google apps of Cyanogen, it includes the Calendar app.

Thank you for your comment!! I´m a little overwhelmed by that thread...as far as I can see I´m not able to install gapps on the Desire HD Rom, am I?
NOTE: You need to flash the correct Google Apps for you type of device. Please refer to the chart to find out if your device uses medium-tiny (Tiny), medium (MDPI), or high (HDPI) density Google Apps.

As I wrote in the 1st thread, I´m on MDJs Froyo HD 4.3 now (HTC HD2!)...which version do I have to install?
if anyone here can help me to restore the user application market? I have uninstalled the market through a titanium backup because my apps continue to send error messages, then I installed vending.apk I find on this device after I search through the root explorer, but I can only go to my app, and my application can not access market as ussual

I don't know if it will work but search for cyanogen gapps. You'll have to extract the vending. Apk yourself

I've done it, and finally I can get into the market.
But the look of the market such as the appearance of the os 2.2. and 2.3. and not like the appearance of honeycomb market, and no single aplication can i download.
Does anyone could give another idea?

I have the same problem with the market and it I tried the nookdevs.com method but I get a market that keeps asking me to login and saying I'm already logged in with this account and now I'm trying to update but the update fails I think its because of the market

i've installed the CM7 Mod ICS FINAL
and in there i find google music 4.0.1.501
and with this one i cannot connect to the google server
to listen to my music in streaming...
now i tryed to install the last version 4.1.511 from the apk
but it return me error ...
how can i upgrade it ?

i need to know just how upgrade google music having the apk...
To upgrade, you will need to clear the data from the application (in settings) and also the cache. Completely uninstall the old version. Then install the latest Apk. It will go through the whole process of syncing your account all over again after you install it. This is the only way I have been able to get it working right for my tablet (Archos), because its not supported by Google apps. Should work.

Hello Guys , Today I Flashed this rom :
[KANG][ROM] Cherry Picks Un-official CM-7.2.0-RC0 Builds for Defy and Defy+
*Earlier i was using Wajk Latest ICS version rom.*
Everything is working, but now, as the rom did not have a pre-existing Google Play app , I downloaded it and installed it.
But the problem is that when i open the app it says to add an account. When I say yes the app just closes and i cannot add my account.
I have tried through setting too , to add my account but there is no option of Add Google account . The options i get are : Corporate Exchange & Facebook.
How or what should i do to use the Google Play APP ??
Uninstall whatever you have flashed, download the latest gapps and flash them from recovery.
I was out of town mate and so couldnt thank u earlier ...
