Streak from Dell

ellloooo has any one got one from dell yet i ordered mine last Thursday and they estimate delivery around the 21st why so long i don't know,just wondering if anyone has one from there because i hope its unlocked Sim free like they state on there website

They just called me and informed that they are out of stock and couple of minutes lather i just got email that my order was cancelled! and it was due to delivery 19th.
I got one from o2 notused but i need one unlocked.

Now that is a bummer hope i am not the same did they take your money because they have of my cc
I got one from car phone wharehouse first but sent it back because they said it was unlocked but it was not.
I feel sick now you have just told me that,i have just gone to their website and went through the order as if i was buying one and it says nothing about them being out of stock .
They should put it on the website

Just ordered one from Dell on the NHS Employee Purchase Program - £413, but delivery estimated at the 19th.
I tried one at my friendly local CPW and it was locked to O2 - bit of a cheek for a device that's listed as SIM-free...
I've found Dell's delivery dates to be pretty good, so here's hoping for the 19th...

You need a discount code from your Dell Account manager then you can ring the EPP hotline and order at the discounted price... normally its a 3% discount but the Streak is an extra 7% off until July 31st... As far as I'm aware the discount is available to employees of any company with a corporate account at Dell, including NHS, Local Govt., etc.
EPP phone number is 0870 907 5683 (although I was re-directed to a different number today)

Looks like they pluck the delivery date out of the air i hate waiting

I ordered 29th of June and my EDD was 19th July but yesterday they called me to tell that they are out of stock. After that phone call I noticed that my order was cancelled. Of course I contacted their live chat to ask what is going on and they apologised and asked if I remember who called me but I did not remember the name. After that they called me back to confirm new order so my new order is 5th July and delivery date is still 19th July but when I asked when it will be delivered I was told that 2-3 working days so I asked again if it will be this week and it was confirmed that Yes it will be this week as my order already finished production period.
So probably the container from china is already somewhere in the docks.

I think i will give them a phone watch this space

going to call the HM forces discount number in a bit. gona try and get full 10% discount and get the ridiculous postage of £20 taken off. will report back.

Just phoned up Dell then had a live chat with one of them and they both tell me its a new product and there is still an interim period of 10 days after your order before it can be shipped so basically BULL SH-T EXPECT IT WHEN IT ARRIVES why am i so impatient lol

Happy days same here and if you look on the Tracking sheet it says delivery as 07/07/2010 so you had better get ready lol

Same here, I ordered mine last week and have been annoyed by the ETA of 21/07 but I am pleased to see that it is shipped....
Time to pimp it out with some accessories- a Zagg shield and their case seem like the best options.

All these shippings they must have found that pallet they lost at the back of the warehouse lol

[Q] mobile phones direct - new email about pre-order

i have been emailed about my pre-order from mobile phones direct and now they are saying that delivery wont be in october, but they will start shipping on the 1st of november
i was hoping that i would be in the first shipments as i ordered on the 4th of sept
what do you guys think about this delay - i am seriously considering another phone, the blackberry i have now i doing my head in!

at least you have a phone to use in the mean time i sold mine so i could buy the DHD imo dont be so impatient

I was in the same position as you however I ordered from e2save (part of the carphone warehouse) on Saturday via quidco, the deal was cheaper and the parcel is out for delivery today by DHL.
Needless to say I have cancelled my MPD order today, so much for utimate HTC partner!

actually if you are getting a run around like that then i would cancel and order with someone else just for the principle of give **** service then lose a sale

Yes I cancelled my order too with MPD after waiting for many weeks. The funny thing is they didn't seem to care about me cancelling, no apology for delay or trying to convince me not to cancel, just confirmation to say they have cancelled.

Just a heads up, I ordered from E2Save on the 21st October and they still haven't shipped the phone, DHL tracking says 'Parcel data received awaiting coll'. I emailed them this morning and i'm still waiting for a reply.
Won't be a happy bunny if you get yours before me

I canceled my order with mpd last week. Ordered one from onestopphoneshop today £5 a month cheaper and should be dispatched today. Will update once I have dispatch notice.

lol no problem, I am gutted because my wife was out when DHL came so I have to wait until tomorrow to get my grubby mits on my DHD!

It's probably worth noting that I spoke to MPD this morning and they have had a shipment in and will continue to get them this week so should be dispatching them on a first come first served basis.
I'm hoping the guy I spoke to is right when he says I should probably get mine tomorrow or Wednesday, but I'm guessing Wednesday now.

the woman i ordered with today said they got a shipment of 140 just when i was ordering so it said "in stock" and so she said that i should get it tomorrow
maybe we will both get it tomorrow

Mobile Phones Direct - S*** in Service
I've ordered mine with MPD on 20th September and there is no sign of it.
I got the same email stating that they will update me about the delivery on 1st November...
I never buy with them again...

i think e2save are sending out t-mobile orders first!
i cancelled my vodafone order with them, as i had pre-ordered beginning ov october, only to hear t-mobile orders had been delivered before mine. and that people had ordered them last week, and had them next day !!!
also, all the tariffs keep changing there, last week t-mobile unlimited web 600 was £25 a month, free handset, now its £29.99 handset cost. and the vodafone deal i had has disappeared! now more expensive!!
ive given up, and am waiting til next year and 1.2 ghz ++ devices now.
and hearing all the complaints, it sounds like this is yet another rushed beta device from HTC.

I've cancelled my order with MPD just 30 minutes before. (helping those poor souls who still believe in MPD and queing there).
Ordered mine with Mobiles.co.uk (free phone + £50.00 Quidco) for the same deal on 26th October 10:00 PM. got it delivered today at 11:00 AM...

I'm so glad I cancelled my MPD order! I've had my DHD since last Monday thanks to me not being willing to wait any more!

Got mine sim free from phones 4 u [email protected] £449.95, i cancelled the expansys £499order, mind you i had rang the phones 4 u northampton, corby, leicester, market harborough, coventry, and kettering branches,
if they try to tell you it is contract only, just tell them you know they sell it sim free, they tend to back down and say something like "i have just checked with my manager and oh yes i see it is available sim free.....sir"

(Q) anyone ordered from phones4u...if so...

The reason I asked is because I ordered my Samsung galaxy note from phones4u on Thursday, as I read on google the release date was the 3rd. I saw it on phones4u with a deal with orange. and I bought it.
Anyhow, I was told the following day (Friday) after calling them that the phone was on pre-order, and it would be with me at 11.11.2011 at the latest!
So basically I am confused, I've read on various forums that others ordered it around the same time and received it the next day, and this is all from phones4u!
Anyone else in a similar situation?

Hey man, did you get your phone yet?
I upgraded my vodafone contract early with phones4u yesterday to the Note (from Galaxy S). They said 3 - 5 working days yada yada. I went on the online chat today just to ask if they had a more accurate date so I could arrange to be in, but the woman told me it's not released until the 17th... I'm assuming she was confusing the Note with the Nexus and gave up in the end.

Got my phone from phones4u. Just walked in to my local store and walked out with the phone, simples. This was on the release day and not online, I think you will have better luck by going in store.

Dialaphone woes
I ordered mine over a week ago from Dialaphone (subsidary of Phones4U) they gave me a delivery date of 11th November, but emailed me late last night to say no stock. Hmm.. I did an anonymous cold call to them earlier in the week, they said same thing but failed to let me know that my phone was never going to arrive today.
Luckily I ordered one from Handtec, and it arrived within 24hrs yesterday. When the Dialaphone one eventually arrives I will tell them to shove it!
Crap customer service, but Handtec saved the day with 100% satisfaction.
PS the SG Note is a dream to use!

Yeah I just walked in to phones4u on release day and bought it there and then on a brand new orange contract.

Phones4u are now saying they're awaiting stock, but still saying the "release date" is the 17th. Oh well. If I'm luck I'll get it by Friday!
Wondering if this is because I'm going through the upgrades section. I know phone companies keep their stock for new customers and for upgrades completely separate sometimes. Suppose it means they can get new customers on to contracts as quickly as possible, and keep those existing customers on hold for a while.
Either way, I can't fecking wait.

Spoke to phones4u this morning, as today (17th November) is the day they claimed that the Galaxy Note was being "released".
I have been told that they've got stock and that it's being delivered to me on Monday, so fingers crossed!
I also asked about email confirmation, as I didn't get any - at all. Apparently this is because the upgrades process is "nearly completely manual". Suppose that would make sense, and also explain why it's difficult to get stock levels accurate.
Really hope it's here by Monday!

I had the same issue going through phones4u to upgrade my orange contract and the online chat system is useless, i was told that there was no stock of the handsets by the online people, but when i spoke to an account manager they said there where plenty and it was orange who did not want me to get the deal phones4u had offered as it was reserved for new customers!!
So basically i told orange i would go to another company ie vodafone or someone like that and they soon changed there tune so now today the 17th i am waiting for royal mail to drop mine off........

still no joy with phones4u. Just phoned them and apparently they've had trouble getting the transaction to go through the till, but it should be being dispatched by special delivery this afternoon. at which point I should FINALLY get some form of email confirmation.

"Delivery by 03/04/2013"
was it just updated recently? (0.o)

I spoke to the guys at 3 today via their sales team and they stated that they have the Silver in stock and would be delivered tomorrow should I order today the black one however isn't expected until 03/04/2013

What! I ordered from 3 yesterday an they said mine will be with me on 28th this month

Mines showing delivery Monday 25th but its not dispatched.

I ordered mine through Very with the same date of the 25th. Seeing as it was cheaper to pay for over couple of months. However after calling them 4 times to find out when I was going to receive the device I was given the suppliers number to call which turned out to be Nokia Support. I have since cancelled the order with Very and taken out a contract with 3 instead. Device should be with me by the 28th. Hopefully.

Hahaha! This made my day! lol I wonder what could have happened if some less knowledgeable people got that response They could have called nokia and inquired about HTC Epic fail!

Interesting and annoying that different stores have different prices for sim free.
I will be in that area next Friday but by that time Asda may have shipped mine so would need to go through hassle of returning it and refund for £40 saving.

On that basis, I will be taking the day off work on Monday and if it does not arrive I will be certainly giving them a piece of my mind. I have no confidence that it will be here/there on the 25th or 27th for that matter.

People buying from Very Handtec and Asda are all in the same boat. We have no actual ides when we will get our phones.
Only places that seem to give a realistic date is Three as they delivered phones this week as advertised.

Well ounce I signed my my electronic agreement they will withdraw the down payment and ship I was told by rep that he has seen several of the devices ship out already

I have had three reps tell me it's backordered and not shipping until 11/8-11/28 and my account recently updated to reflect this on the order. At this point, you're better off trying to walk into a store on 10/28 first thing when they open and pick it up.

Or you could just pre order hoping for the best. Then if it doesn't come by the 28th, cancel the pre order and just walk into the store to buy it.

I recieved an email expected shipping date is 10/18/--10/24 next day shipping

I pre-ordered my V20 (taking full advantage of the $200 trade from LG by swapping my Note 4 in) yesterday and woke up this morning to three texts, one including a tracking number for my order having already shipped. Will update when I can see a location or when it arrives.

Nah, at this point you're just better off walking into a store and picking it up. Everything I've got points to 11/8 being the early edge of the next availability range. At this point after all that I've been put through, I'm starting to entertain the idea of looking at other carriers. T-Mobile got me in over a dozen years ago for their customer service and now even that isn't any better than any other carrier I've had. (AT&T, Sprint and Verizon, had all three in one way or another.)

I ordered Monday morning, CC charged yesterday and ready for shipping this morning. I just got an email from Ups this evening saying it will be here tomorrow. I wasn't expecting that.
It has arrived, and I is very nice, now time to say goodbye to my Note 7...

I ordered at 10am central Monday morning in store (JOD). I have origin scan in Louisville and scheduled for delivery on Wednesday. I changed delivery to a hold at UPS customer center so I could get it at 9am when they open.

I just pre ordered mine. If I don't like it I'll pay it off and sell it on Swappa at full price lol. Or at least get my money back. Plus I keep the headphones too lol. Now the waiting game begins.

Tried to cancel the order and they said I couldn't because my cc was charged and on there end it shows ready for shipment however there was no tracking info. The only thing i got back was my expedited shipping fee credited to my account..........
