I'm not sure you will get notification I know I never have on a custom rom but then again only rom I ever ran was cyanogen on my hero and EVO so I could be mistaken

VU gives good life for a Sense ROM. But if you're truly looking for the best battery life, then CM7 or MIUI is your best bet.

I always come back to sense cuz the contact integration and fluidity, and the camera/gallery. Everyone's different, but I always use ADW ex no matter the ROM but don't use CM cuz I like the UI, contacts, and imaging on sense...

My goal is to give you guys at least 250mb free on data. There are a lot of new apps and features with this rom that I don't want to cut out yet.
