That is the size of X10 a little longer. Photos are closeups and that is why they look like that.
Yep, tried multitouch visible test and I get four points. A fifth finger makes no impression... The four that are there are rock solid, though. Can't say as I see a clear need for all five fingers at the same time, but maybe I'm missing something?

I was lucky enough to be invited to the Press Release seminar two days ago in Hong Kong, with actual Engineering sample units to be played with.
Damn this thing is really light. I've also heard that DoCoMo in Japan has released the red colored version exclusively, aside from the silver and dark blue edition that is released as originally announced. The exclusive unit also has double the size of ROM for storage as well!
How I wish I can bring that home right away... haha!
BTW it comes with an HDMI cable if you purchase from online SE or directly from the Sony Store with the arc, but if you purchase Neo, it will not be bundled with.

Yeah, the "other" colour for Japan is pink The 1gb ROM is a mistake on Docomo's part, and for some reason they chose to not give us the HDMI cable over here (the shop staff I asked didn't even know the Arc had HDMI out )

I finally got my HAD TO HAVE IT NOW Xperia - going to sell it .. Haven't even put it in my purse or taken it out of the house. I think that [and this is just a guess] that black is more common. Not because silver is hard to get and there are many black ones available but because silver [in my opinion] doesn't look as good as the black because of the black keys. I would prefer the silver one if it weren't for the black keys.

I listed it for $825 .. I paid more. But then, I am in the U.S.A. and we always get the shaft when it comes to cool phones .. Basically I paid $75 to play with it for a day. IT WAS WORTH IT THOUGH !!! If I could see the screen I would FOR SURE keep it.

I you go to settings-system-display-textsize and change it to one step bigger and install HTC enlargestartmenu - is it then not big enough for your old eyes ?

Yes it's looks very nice, and with HSPA! Except Korea's UMTS networks are only 2100mhz, so Stateside you might be stuck with just EDGE unless Samsung just happens to make it multi-band.

The version listed on Engadget is Korean only, you wont see anything that will properly work in the USA. The Omnia is going to be released soon, sans- WVGA resolution and Tv tuner..
go to settings then screen
and then from screen go to text size
and you should be able to increase the text from that tab
it's at the bottom to the far left
also could enable cleartype which would make the text more clear

Thank you, but that's just a 3d render of the phone which would look nothing like the phone would if I held it in my hand.
I did look for this both on google and youtube before posting here, and I can't find any real imagery of the brown telephone at all.

I got it from HTC for testing purpose. Work at the largest mobile phone distributor in Norway.
A great phone with a unique UI, great 5MP autofocus camera and Marked with lots of free applications that gives you the possibilities to download programs of your needs. I really love it. In Norway we are still waiting for the Marked with possibilities to buy applications. Will hopefully be released later this year by Google

My first one! I bought it on Sony Style USA. Initially, I was going to stick with my X10a, since it would get 2.3 soon, until the successor to the arc (duo?) is released later this year or early next. But, I just could not help myself once I saw it on Sony Style. I hope I did the right thing!

I only got it today so I haven't even fully charged it yet. I'll give it a full run out tomorrow and see how long it lasts.
Things of note so far, the screen is much more accurate than the galaxy s2. While typing at full speed I hardly make any mistakes but I made quite a lot more with
the s2. Also it seems to collect a lot of fingerprints so I would recommend getting a screen and back cover

You're also getting a rebate on service (which effectively ties you to Docomo since the rebate expires immediately if you exit early on top of your ETF and remaining handset obligation - in fact the Japanese word for phone contracts has the same root as the word used for bondage).

I've been trying to find some of the alternate colors for the Note 3.
I'm on T-Mobile and I noticed they only offer black & white.
After digging a little deeper it looks like none of the carriers have the colorful varieties.
Can anyone confirm this. Can I get the Note 3 in other colors?
As far as I know you are stuck with white and black for the initial offering with pink to perhaps follow. Pink phones don't sell well and require inventory space. Space is At a premium for most retail shops.

After watching the drop test video, I ended up pulling the trigger on a slim Spigen case. I'm hoping that at least maybe the impact to the case would help minimize shock to the phone a little bit. I know that getting a flip cover to protect the screen side would be more effective, but I don't think that I'd really want to flip the cover open each time I want to use my phone.

Supposedly it screws up the NFC feature, which I don't really care about at this point. Thought they look pretty slick personally. And for 7 bux shipped, no big loss if it's junk...

There is a Grey Color coming too, Samsung Middle East Posted a pic of it on their facebook page
Maybe cover the back with alcantara?
