I have a htc blackstone. The wifi turn on but it detect nothing
I can connect it on my home wifi but the htc have to stay just next to the antena. Someone can help me? Thanks

Thanks for your help but this software doesn't help me to improve the reception of my wifi signal :s I've also try wifi monster but the problem is the same ...
Have you tried manually entering you wifi's SSID???
that worked for me once when it didnt automatically find my wifi
Hello, I finaly have open my blackstone and it was an hardware problem: The coaxial cable of wifi antenna was unplug Now wifi and bluetooth work fine

I have searched a lot on this forum and have not found any solution to the wifi problem on HTC diamond....I am sure there are experts in this forum who have worked around their way and I would request them to post their comments as to how they have got their WIFI talking on HTC Diamond...........
I am trying connecting to my home wireless network. It finds the network but unable to connect to it. Any help please? Has anyone managed to get it connected to any Wifi? I ahve already set the power management to "best performace...no succes.......

There is no wifi problem on the Diamond. it works fine for on every ROM I have used.
It sounds like you haven't set the access key in your Diamond.

Would be kind enough to elaborate......Mine is open WIFI router, there is no need for any pass keys......my other phone O2 stealth perfectly connects while HTC diamond doesn't.........
Please do have a problem and that the reason there are so many view on this thread in just 30 minutes....

i've never known any problems, have u flashed a cooked ROM or changed the Radio?
if so, i would try going back to stock and see if it works then, if not, send it back as faulty.
I'm not aware of any 'known issue' with the WiFi on the Diamond either, certainly mine and my girlfriend's both work fine in this respect. If you've never successfully connected to any wireless network then you've got a hardware issue; send your phone back to be repaired and stop wasting time looking for a software solution would be my advice.

Glad that a lot of users doesn't had problem with the wifi, but it's an iminent malfunction, and looks to be a hardware problems...
I had change my rom and radios a lot, and the issues are the same:
Opened the comm manager or the settings-connection-wifi, turn on the wifi, and it's turn off again...
In my case, often worked properly after soft reset, and i often connect with 3g or gprs, but...it's a suck!!!

if your diamond is not connecting to your router there is some posibilities. Are you at home or work, at work on the AP you can have security setings and MAC filtering. At home if you have not implement security and mac filtering you can be to far of your router, You must be between -60 and -80 Db max and at -80 it is easyer with a MIMO router, etc...

1) I download a radio rom thing and install it
2) restart the device and the wifi is working perfectly.

I have NOT got connection to secured wifi net. I tried it at home and etc., when I try connect to open wifi, it is OK, but secure wep, wpa etc. is problem,
I reinstall my router at home, I unlocked my HTC and tried all avillable ROM from xda and a chanched different radio.
Now I have got official ROM from HTC - last from page support of HTC,
but problem is here.
I would like restore my ROM, but my pc update had failure and pls help me with this problem.
Try the following:
Change router channel
Try connecting to another router / network LAWFULLY!
Hard reset
Take it to the vendor of the phone
Hi, I have a htc diamond and used to connect via wifi almost daily. then from one day to another I cant turn on wifi, it stays off when i click on it. when I go into the settings menu under wifi, the screen where all the connections/accesspoints are shown is gone. I only get to see the network adapters tabpage. it's strange because I didn't change anything at all.
Could someone help me get it back working ?

try installing something like wifimonster which might reactivate your wifi adapter. i would guess it somehow got disabled.
Hi guys I am having an anoying problem with my phone.
I connect my Wifi to and ad-hoc connections which works fine for all devices.
The connect is stable and almost 100% quality
The problem is that the phone doesn't have any data transfer, I can get online for but for only a few seconds like update Weather and open a page, then is like offline the Wifi stays connected.
I tried using both settings connects to internet and to work, I got the same problem.
Can please someone help, it must be a problem in the settings, I am new in WM phones
Have you checked if you need to put in a security code? Is signal strength ok? And sometimes you have to wait quite a while for the webpage to be downloaded.

I have WEP code inserted, the signal is very strong 90 to 100% I am really close to the source.
The pages open pretty fast but after some seconds it doesnt open anything neither Skype or Weather works but the connection stays on.
I even try static IP and still got the same issue, I wounder whats is the problem, Saturday I will connect it directly to router instead of an ad-hoc to see what the results may be.
I really need help with this... It is so anoying.
I do not understand, yesterday it worked all day, and today is not working only for a few seconds and the only thing I touch was trying to connect to a network in different place.

I think I just found problem. DNS It seems that the phone the last dns added. What I did now was to delete the dns numbers so the server may add it again. It is working again.

i have htc touch p3450 and i try to connect into a wifi in a mall it connects but the problem is i cannot brows the internet neither weather does not operate even in the house ,... why?? its very annoying,.. i am connected to a wpa-psk and tkip in the house using psp but my phone not... help please..

Since past couple of days my HTC HD Mini handset is not detecting the wifi network. I tried placing it very near to router but still I could not see any available network.
I also tried to add network manually and giving the security key. But still it does not show the network and says <network id> unavailable.
As far as I remember I have not done changes in settings.
Can anyone help me to identify and resolve this problem?

I think it must be a hardware failure. To ensure get a hardreset. If the problem continues, no doubt.

Did you try another wifi router? If yes, it migth be h/w issue. otherwise, should be setup issue.

To my surprise, now my phone has started detecting the wifi network. For some odd reason it was not detecting any of the wifi network.
I really don't know how it started working now but I will use your tips in case I face similar problem in future.

actually i had the same problem in the start... to fix this issue u had to open ur wifi router and go to its settings....
for my TP-link wifi router.. i go to wireless settings.. in this there is an option of CHANNEL... it was automatic.. i changed it to 8 and it started working...

I have Omnia 7 and I have major trouble...
When i turn WiFi on it works normally, but if I try to run an aplication that requires internet connection my phone just doesn't run that application(WiFi is still on)...So I don't know what to do...please help!!!!
when you go to wifi settings, the connection of the wifi is CONECTED?
sometimes wp7 turns of wifi because of battery, and need to do the connections manually.
