Quick question - Vibrant General

Can I have a live wallpaper on my lock screen and just a normal wallpaper as my home screen?

No.

nope cool idea though............

ACTUALLY...
its either the 2.2.1 roms or the 2.3 roms but you can set different wallpapers on lock and home.
I'm sure if your using 2.3(?) you could make a live wallpaper, then lock screen could be a regular one;.

I'm running Double Rainbow and just checked this. It looks like you cannot have a live wallpaper as your lockscreen, though you can set a different standard wallpaper.

No... Its not. Using ADW when I change wallpaper, it doesn't change the actual lock screen wallpaper.

Apply your wallpaper of choice and then reboot the phone. Mine does this sometimes when switching wallpapers. It will switch the main wallpaper but the lockscreen will be some green grass. A reboot solves it every time.
Guys,
just saw this from a this diff forum. On CM Settings, check "Lock home in memory". After that your wallpaper will always be changed.

<Q> Lock screen question

I'm not sure if I'm just blindly missing this setting but I cannot find where to change the lockscreen wallpaper. I just flashed CM 7.0.3 and it changed from being the same as my homescreen paper to grass. Not sure if it's a CM setting or an ADW setting or if it's changeable at all. Suggestions?

I don't think you can change the wp. If you really want to change wp though, you can download something like widget locker.

There is no setting to change the wallpaper for the lock screen. The Lockscreen and the HomeScreen will have the same wallpaper. As The poster above me mentioned you can use Widget Locker to use a separate Wall Paper.
Awesome! Thanks for the tips! The grass just doesn't go with my honeybee lol.

With Miui you can have different wallpapers for lockscreen and main screen. Try it out.

Change Lock screen Wallpaper

Anybody know how to change the lock screen wallpaper? Sorry for the dumb question but I just can't seem to figure it out.

I would also like to know the answer to this!!
There is no way to change the lockscreen wallpaper on stock android.
The only way is to install a custom rom with the feature or use an alternative lockscreen app such as WidgetLocker.
Really? I don't have mine yet, but I saw a review video of somebody from the UK that had a different lock screen than stock.

Not possible without custom rom, looking forward to this though.

Can I have different wallpapers on the Nexus?

Is there an app or setting that will allow me to have a different wallpaper on my lock screen and home screen like on the iPad?
I tried an app called MultiPicture Live Wallpaper. It allowed me to have a picture for my lock screen, and a separate picture for my home screens. The problem was that the picture I was using for my home screens would take a second or two to load after I unlocked the device.
Perhaps there's another app that can yield better results, or some tweaks I can do with that particular app.

If you're willing to flash it, AOKP has that functionality

Widget Locker will do it. Amazing app over all.

What about it?
He was on about using another app : Multi.....
I am saying doesn't just changing your background internally, (holding the homescreen and choosing gallery) also change the lock screen image?
Or does he want 2 images -
One for homescreen
One for lockscreen
If so my bad

Lock screen wallpaper (4.2)

On Scott's stock 4.2 ROM with Apex launcher. But I can run Nova if that is the solution.
It's there a way to have a different wallpaper from the home screen on the lock screen? Or do I need to wait for some custom ROMS to get this. I've never tried two different backgrounds but I happened to come across a background that I really like on the lock screen but not so much on the desktop.
TIA

I was able to do it by using wallpaper wizzidri and Go locker (which meant go launcher)
I hope there is a different solution. I'm not much of a fan of go launcher especially on the tab.
