when i press the camera button or try activating the camera or video camera i get "the application camera(process.com.android.camera) has stopped unexpectedly. please try again. with a force close.
it sounds like a software problem so i decided to root it and change the rom. same issues. i am using the cm01 kernal and the cute x rom from green curry . http://forum.sdx-developers.com/intercept-development/(virgin-mobile)-cute-rom/
is there a fix for the camera? i tried 3rd party camera apps and same issues.

hey guys... just went to try and record a video for my g/f and my camera FC'd.
steps to re-create FC
1. open messaging and select a contact
2. menu/attachments/capture video
3. camera turns on for 3 or 4 seconds, sends up a force close, and flickers a blue screen before going to home screen.
is any1 else having this problem? g2, perm#, bacon bits.
Having problems using my camera in Fission 2.5.7
If I hold the camera button the screen flashes and then goes back to whatever I was doing. If i try to use the camera app it does the same thing. Sometimes I am able to open it and take pictures but when I try to view them in the gallery they are gray and don't appear to have saved.
I have tried to restore an earlier backup to with no effect.
Try reflashing the ROM. If that doesn't work, try flashing another ROM and see if that fixes it. That will at least tell you if it's a problem with the software or if it's hardware.
I have the FV-5 camera app, which properly opens when I try to attach a picture to a text message. The picture takes fine, but when the screen jumps back to the message window, it shows the same old picture, likely the last one taken when I used the stock camera app. Can this be fixed to start linking to the FV-5 app?

My FFC has broken, and I dont have the ability to get it fixed right now.
Many apps default to using the FFC and this causes the app to immediately crash. If I accidentally hit the FFC button in the camera app I have to clear its settings to get it to work. As you can imagine this is really annoying.
Is it possible to completely disable the FFC? Such that no app even tries to look or use it?
Lately I've been having a weird issue with my camera, stock or modded on any rom.
When I open the camera and press on the little smiling emoji, it opens the screen like it should but there is nothing on it, no icons etc.
If when the screen is opened and i press the + button i get a message "unaable to find application to perform this action"
When I install a new rom I always do a full wipe
Any help appreciated

I'm pretty sure that the ROMS you installed are debloated. So they took off and unistalled certain apps, in your case: stickers for the camera app :/
You can ask the developer if he can give you the zip, but it's unlikely!
