In case your HD 7 is flashed with a different of the above 1, 2 ROMs but your Firmware version at your phone settings>about>more information

Telstra Nodo Rom for Telstra HD7???
Hi Ansar....Loving your work mate.
I noticed you have used the Telstra HD7 'nodo' rom as a base for a few variants.
Is there any chance your could sign one so it can actually load on to the Telstra HD7. I a demo Telstra HD7 in need of an update to nodo.
I tried the SEA releases using the CV 841 but to no avail and was hoping you could realse a signed one that will owrk on a the 841 variant.
Cheer.

NoDo ROM SEA_2.20.841.02
I was able to use DFT's RSPL & HSPL successfully and I by coincidence reflashed my HD7 with RUU_Schubert_hTC_Asia_SEA_WWE_1.57.728.02_Radio_5.52.09.16_22.33a.50.10U_by_ansar
Now, my SPL version is 1.57 (not available in DFT's RSPL list) so I want to change it to 2.20 (which is available in DFT's RSPL list) by using these two ROMs but was unsuccessful (followed your instructions correctly)
I got ERROR [244] Invalid Model ID
Why is that?

Hi there. how can I install this coming from deepshining rom?

After Flashing a Rom, cannot turn on the device

After flashing this rom : [Rom][WM6.5][27 Aug'09]New Elfin ROM With Latest build 23034 Xip/Sys
The device stay in the 'smart mobility' screen,
I can't even boot it up first time
I can't turn it on so how can flash back other rom?
Can someone tell me what can I do?
Please Help me. thank you
You can use this Unbricker ROM ---> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2913636#post2913636. It's the easyest way, without using other WM devices. It worked for me.
You can also use the Elf/Elfin Unbricker (Gold Card) ----> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=437996. Hadn't tried this one though.
Hope that I helped.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A user of this forum, 911sniper, provided us with an HTC test-only ROM:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=735
Alternate download link:
http://www.neufgiga.com/n/50-17/shar...492127a54134b/
Alternate download link:
http://www.4shared.com/file/82315205/ea440324/RUU.html
IMPORTANT: Read the steps below before flashing!!!!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a ROM that can potentially overwrite and/or unbrick a device with an original (non-patched) SPL. It has a wildcard for Model ID (ELF0*****) and CID (11111111).
I don't have a bricked Elf but I tested it with an original CID-locked SPL and it overwrote it and flashed a new generic HTC ROM with the following:
IPL 2.11.1002
SPL 2.11.1000 MFG
ROM version: 2.11.0. WWE
ROM date: 08/14/07
Radio: 02.98.90
CE OS 5.2.1620 (Build 18125.0.4.2)
Here are the steps to make it work:
Quote:
Download this ROM from the link above
Two ways to flash:
Rename the file to ELF0IMG.nbh if you want to flash from SD card (you must format the card to FAT32 first)
Put the ROM in a RUU folder that contains the RomUpdateUtility.exe. You must remove any other .NBH files in that folder first.
Start your bricked Elf in bootloader mode (hold down camera button and reset). If you are using the SD card, it should flash right away.
NOTE: If the device flashed successfully but is now stuck at the new boot screen, you are still ok. Now you can flash ANY shipped ROM at the bootloader (if you have an Elfin, flash only an Elfin shipped ROM) and your device will be running again. If you can't flash a shipped ROM after successfully flashing the Unbricker ROM, then make a Gold Card and follow the steps in that thread.
NOTE: If the Unbricker ROM doesn't work then make a Gold Card and use it again on that card.
NOTE:
One thing I noticed is that you cannot use the white screen method (elf-uspl.exe) after you flash this ROM. If you try that, then the message "Not in use" pops up under the penguin. However, you can flash ANY shipped ROM from bootloader after this unbricker ROM has been flashed. From there, you can do white screen method and then flash the Hard-SPL/USPL/cooked ROM.

After that, I flashed 2 roms above. Everything is fine and my HTC Mozart with Orange FR become unbranded (HTC 7 Mozart T8698) with OS 7.0.7389.0. Then I plugged the phone to the computer, Zune realized an update. Updating happend about 15 mins. Now I've got lastest update (7.0.7390)

[Q] Offical Htc Wildfire 2.1 Eclair Rom

Hi guys im so stupid i deleted my backup of my old 2.1 stock rom therefore i can't go back to it from cyanogen mod 7 can someone please provie me with the eclair rom for htc wildfire thank you remeber it has to be official rom thnaks again
http://shipped-roms.com/index.php?category=android&model=Buzz
Check ROMs with version number 1.x. These are Eclair ROMs.
hey 3xeno....iam on eclair and want to update to froyo...iam having that 60mb file which is an update from shipped rom in my lappie.....i don't want to download it as iam having mobile network and no wifi....so plz tell me any procedure to apply update to eclair....
i had tried that method of extracting firmware file from it deleting .nbo file and then zipping it into P49IMG.ZIP bt nothing happened...my device didn't updated...
iam s-off and evrything....any method done from command or nything....plz do tell me..
I read it somewhere, but, I am not sure whether it works or not. Here's the procedure in any case:
- Rename the 60MB OTA Zip to update.zip
- Reboot into HBoot
- Press Vol Up + Power. This will supposedly take you to the Stock HTC Recovery.
- Here, select Apply sdcard:update.zip. It will install the Zip automatically.
Alternatively, you can try this via Clockworkmod also. The procedure remains the same, but, you enter Clockworkmod > Install Zip from SDCard > Apply sdcard:update.zip
To reiterate, this is what I have read elsewhere, it's not tested by me personally.
they are all version 1.0
still cant find it !!!
Go for this one:

[GUIDE] Making 1.29.401.16 RUU ROM image to work like RUU

After looking at few threads where members where asking for 1.29.401.16 RUU, and some of them finding an Image file of the same (including me) , but getting trouble to make it work like RUU. So i thought of writing a process to make it work if someone needs to get back to STOCK.
Requirements :
YOU NEED TO BE S-OFF
ALL DATA WOULD BE LOST,ALL MEANS ALL, SO BACKUP
DONT HOLD ME RESPONSIBLE IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG
PROCEDURE:
1. Download the 1.29.401.16 image file from here : https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B-4Hz5BkTjxdTV9fS01JbU5yTE0/preview?pli=1 of 1.29.401.16 ( Thanks to @west2cool for the RUU)
2. Download RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_Cingular.exe ( Link on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=39588860 Thanks @BugsyLawson )
3. Execute RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_Cingular.exe
4. when all progress bars stop, go to %temp% search the most recent folder, and search for the file ARUWizard.exe file that inside of the folder {F46C5D93-D618-4028-943D-D8C5753929A3} (name may vary) and inside there is another {50F2F878-636A-496F-A7CB-544C067E0C4B} folder name will vary, inside this last one there is the file ARUWizard.exe
5. copy that last folder to some other place in your PC/Laptop
6. stop the executing of the RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_Cingular.exe
7. In the copied folder replace the "rom.zip" with the one in PN07IMG_M7_UL_JB_50_HTC_Europe_1.29.401.16_R_Radio _4A.14.3250.13_10.33.1150.01_release_318486_signed _2_4.zip, you need to rename PN07IMG_M7_UL_JB_50_HTC_Europe_1.29.401.16_R_Radio _4A.14.3250.13_10.33.1150.01_release_318486_signed _2_4.zip to "rom.zip", actualy this zip is a img file, that's why you can't unzip. ( Thanks to @torres.sis for this Guide )
8. Execute the ARUWizard.exe
Follow the onscreen instructions , and the device will be back to stock. You should not loose S-OFF, but the bootloader would be Relocked.
Just wanted to say thank you, it worked perfectly.
And I have been looking for the 1.29.401.16 RUU for a long time
Try this, more simple: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=43693174#post43693174

I actually like your Idea as i had the very same idea just yesterday with the only difference that i was thinking it might be possible to adapt the meta inf from the ruu so we could actually create a full ruu that also flashes system this way. So we could make full RUU's from available components since Mike1986 chose to not share RUU's he gets.
Feel like diving into it?
Just a thought....

NO WIPE ZIP
or
FULL STOCK WIPE ZIP
For this tutorial we will use the FULL STOCK WIPE ZIP (to archive a clean install – this will wipe everything on your phone excluding the External SD card)
c) Place the downloaded M9_3.35.401.12_FullStock_wipe.zip into your Android SDK Platform Tools Folder (for example C:\Android\ if this is where all your tools are found)
d) Download the latest version of TWRP recovery from
http://www.teamw.in/devices/htconem9.html
Place the downloaded twrp-2.8.7.0-hima.img in your Android SDK Platform Tools Folder
e) Once you are 101% ready to begin the process start by connecting your device and launching the command window (hold shift, right click in window with all the required ADB/FASTBOOT aps and select "open command window here) once the black terminal window appears start by typing in
adb devices
if your phone appears in the list we can continue by typing:
adb reboot download
wait a few seconds for the screen to appear and type:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
your phone should now be in the RUU mode with a silver HTC logo, now type
(if you renamed the original file type its current name, by default it is as follows)
fastboot flash zip M9_3.35.401.12_FullStock_wipe.zip
f) you will most likely receive something like this towards the end after running the above command...
FAIL90 hboot pre-update! please flush image again immediate
FAILED (remote: FAIL90 hboot pre-update! please flush image again immediate)
For "hboot-preupdate" response, restart the same procedure for device...
just type the above command again and phone will flash the update again and hopefully it will take at least a minute or more to complete, hopefully there will be no more errors, just in case repeat the above command... Just in case you do see errors try looking them on Sneakyghost's thread found here
g) Once this is done and everything passed than we have successfully upgraded our firmware to Marshmallow... Since we selected the FULL STOCK WIPE option we need to flash TWRP once again (as it was wiped) and don't bother resetting or hoping for the phone to boot normally as it won’t...
(if you renamed the original file type its current name, by default it is as follows)
Type:
fastboot flash recovery twrp-2.8.7.0-hima.img
and once it’s done
adb reboot-bootloader
*if for any reason you need to reset your phone and gain access to the bootloader menu, download mode, recovery etc. you can always do this manually by holding vol up, vol down and power buttons at the same time for a few seconds to reset the device, to get into the bootloader, recovery, download mode etc. After the phone resets continue holding the vol down and power button until you reach the bootloader menu.
*if you type adb devices and you see multiple devices or emulators that prevent the commands from working I suggest running the following:
adb kill-server
adb devices
Now only your connected device should appear…
h) It is now time to enter our recently flashed recovery to finally install our latest ROM.
Enter the recovery manually or by typing
adb reboot recovery
From there you may select the wipe option (swipe to factory Reset) and proceed to the Install section, browse for your ROM file and select it.
i) Within Aroma installer select all your preferred options and begin to install, once the flashing completes your device should reboot and now you keep your fingers crossed and wait (will take several minutes so just be patient…. And DONE!!! You now have the latest Marshmallow firmware and ViperOneM9 ROM installed.
#Please note that I’m no expert when it comes to these matters, this guide is here to help anyone who is unsure what to do, I tried to write it up the best way possible (sorry that there are no fancy pictures) if there any errors or issues with my methods please feel free to correct them but so far they worked for me and hopefully will also work for you. (This guide will also help you flash other ROM's) If you need more help please feel free to ask, there is always someone here on xda who knows the answers 
Excellent write up !!
Many thanks !!!....g

Very nice writeup. Just got an M9 for the wife. I've been around the block so I get everything, but I've been away from HTC since the One X...well, there's the N9 but it's a nexus. What are the RUU mode and Download mode. If I remember correctly there was only the bootloader to go to on the One X. If it's complicated is there somewhere I can read about the modes?
Can you write instructions for s-on and unlocked boatloader? Thanks.

Excellent write-up! For extra-completeness, could you please cover changing the mid in android-info and dealing with error 22 (stuff about headers). I'm still fighting that one...
Thanks for your time.

Have you received the official Marshmallow OTA yet on your device? the S-OFF method is available for those who don't want to wait for official updates, I will gladly write up a S-ON method once more people receive the official update...

Also try the following as error 22 was not covered in the error handling section...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59783531&postcount=3
Download 7zip, open the zip inside of the program, right click on the Android text file and open within. Change the mid to yours hit save. It will ask if you want to update the zip, hit yes. Then try and flash.
SneakyGhosts post explains this:
Error 22 is new to me too but the string is kind of self explanatory: every archive has a header where the archive-program finds info about what type of archive and what compression. If the error says anything about this header, the logical conclusion is either a corrupted, broken archive or an unsupported archive type.
I suspect the latter simply due to the fact that the zip was unpacked and repacked, which then easily creates an incompatible zip.

because you need the latest firmware in order to install 4.x.x and the only way to get the latest firmware is via the OTA or by flashing it with the s-off method.

I'm still kind of "fuzzy" on this whole firmware thing.... IF I don't want to wait (on ATT) and IF I go S-OFF, which firmware can I/should I use for Marshmallow?
