AnTutu Benchmark - Vibrant General

I know some of you think benchmarks are wack but I use them from time to time to see if im gaining any better performance from different roms and kernels. Used to use Quadrant all the time but a friend told me about AnTutu on the market. Don't know if any of you have used it, but its free and im kind digging it over Quadrant. Try it out if you haven't. Here are some screen shots.

Thanks will check it out.
Here's a link for anyone wanting to try it out.

Just tried it out. Got a score in the low 1500s. Seems pretty good, although it's kind of depressing not seeing my phone at the top of the list like it always was in Quadrant

Thanks for the heads up

Lol yeah im used to seeing my score at the top too. This bench gives out some useful info tho. More than the free version of quadrant. Don't know if I wanna pay 24 bucks for the pro version of quadrant to see how that is. Sure its a lot better than the free version. Im going to stick with this for a bit until I find something better.
Trigger + Tigersblood = Winning

quadrant pro is bull does nothing but give "detailed" stats which means the same thing this does for free, the bar thing is colored and it gives GPU CPU etc.
After saying all that, i should admit...
I have Quadrant Advanced...
I'll check this out in a sec. thanks for sharing!

I ran this benchmark a couple weeks ago and scored 2081.
I re-ran the benchmark after the recent update, and I just scored 3254 total, which ranks me 30th in the world. Wow!

Linpack + Froyo = Beautiful MFLOPS

So before froyo I was running Cyanogenmod 5.0.7 test 3 on the nexus one. When you ran a Linpack test the result would be an average of 7.0MFLOPS well check this out. I grabbed the pre-rooted Froyo update file that PAUL posted. Flashed it over 5.0.7 test-3 (no wipe) and below are my results. 38 MFLOPS and the system isn't even optimized yet....

super nice to see such high numbers!
but im thinkin of reverting back to stock kernal as the USB deal is really annoying.
I'm sure why this is in development but ill bite. I got 44+ with setcpu oc. I was number 24 overall last I checked.
damn I only got 35 overall.
I've hit 45 a few times!
i was in 1st but jesus phone took me out ;p and some persian damn them!! 47mflops
I'm generally around 38-39 and have inched over 40 a few times. What are you guys running to get up to 45?!

Cyans .34 kernel oc'd. But I never got past 44.
Odd... I only got like... 15-16. Any ideas why it's so low for me?
EDIT: Nevermind! For some reason after an autodetect, my max CPU was set at 384000. Set it to 998000 and it's in the high 30's.
i hit 43.656 0.12 secs norm res : 3.36
you guys should try prolaucher in the market
Launcher pro won't work with froyo. Only lets you have 3 screens.

It works fine. Set the screens you want, and all the options as you want them. Leave the app, go to settings, applications, manage, and then find launcherpro. Select it and then click force stop. Should be perfect next time you run it.
Sheesh, how would I have known to do all that?!?!?!
Tried that. Wont work when you hit home button it always goes back to Froyo home instead of launcherpro

Linpack scores on stock xoom after 3.0.1

My score in linpack are now around 35 sin e I updated....that's a drop of 10 to 15 points from before the update. Anyone else notice a drop in linpack?
Sent from my Xoom using Tapatalk
Do you have flash installed?
Also, what app do you use to check the linpack? [edit] nevermind. I found it.
33.614.
3.0.1 with flash installed.
36.14 when I uninstalled flash.
I know it's the same range, but it's strange how everything seems faster without flash installed. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it twice today to see if it made a difference, and I think I'm going to leave it uninstalled until next week.
Speaking of Linpack, how does the iPad2 score this:

Is that just an Android vs iOS thing?
First thing I did was unistall flash and then reboot....no good. Then I unintalled most of my apps, reboot, retest, same results. Using linpack app from market.

Does your Linpack score somehow have something to do with how your Xoom performs, real world?

True, but that cannot be the only thing at work here. I mean the iPad2 is scoring 5x better than the Xoom in linpack. I highly doubt that the hardware is 5x better than the Xoom, especially when the iPad2's CPU is only clocked at 900mhz.

Anandtech. I would trust their numbers over any other site I can think of. They are legit. You can go check out the numbers in their preview of the iPad2.

Random Epic4G Quadrant Results

I am using Syndicate Frozen Rom 1.1.1 and got some stunning benchmark results.
Stock ROM i was getting around 900-1000, now that I've switched to the SFR1.1.1 (EXT4) my maximum is now 2654 which is just under what my roommate gets on his dual core android tablet.

Evaluating ANTUTU 5, impressions so far.

I was selected to test out an Alpha version of ANTUTU 5, here are my impressions so far. It is markedly longer than previously. There are new CPU tests, including Single Thread Integer, Single Thread Floating Point, refined 2D tests, which are now performed in landscape, and an all new 3D test Project Anarchy, which is a Forrest Scene. Pretty Cool. Cant wait for the final project.

I am testing it too and I've noticed something but I am not sure if it's related to Antutu. When it goes to CPU Interger Test or Float point test, all cores go to 100% usage except for CORE1. For some reason, it stays at 1-10%. Maybe it's the kernel. I am using ElementalX

What's your RealPi score?

Anyone done a Pi bench on their S6? I imagine several others Pi scores will beat my 6. 30 seconds.
Use AGM + FFT Formula, test 1000000 digits, and post your fastest time.

Sorry guys
First run after download, no special settings, only power saving mode is disabled.
Nice one kurczak94! However...
I just did another run. I believe this is going to be the fastest that the test will do on my phone.
edit: oh, nope, I'm wrong! I just did another faster test which I'll post in a bit. How are you guys getting the full length of the result screen showing in your screenshots? I have to scroll down to show the time and that cuts off the top saying 'Intitialising... '

You probably will, I'm getting nothing faster than 6. 19 at the moment. Good score, you've matched me.
Not sure if this is considered cheating, but I'm running the Sac23 ROM and Ktoonsez kernel on my Sprint S6. I didn't expect to get a higher score cause I haven't adjusted kernel at all. I might try some over clocking and run it again later.

Let's see what others say about it, but imo, it's legit because you've simply managed to get the phone tweaked to run faster. Excellent time! :good:
Pro tip for everyone: Power off the phone and let it cool right down before running the bench to obtain the best scores. Example, when I ran Pi just a moment ago after just finishing running antutu, my Pi was over 8 seconds.
After many attempts yesterday and today of running the test consecutively, I just this moment got a freak 6. 17 seconds.
Edit: skip that, just improved again. 6. 16 secs. Blimey.
