Sometimes when I pause a song and go do something else, the song doesn't play when it resume it. The time on the song still goes and ringtones still work, but the sound won't work for the song. Do I have a defective phone, or is it a common problem?

The songs on my comp play great. But there are times that I transfer songs and the song will play well up until a certain point and all of a sudden a completely different song begins playing (while the original song and info and slider continues scrolling) and after 5-10 seconds of that other song, the original song will continue.
Multiple songs, all transferred at the same time. Not all the songs have the issue though. If I delete and re-transfer they are ok.
Just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this.
I dont have the G1 YET! But this has happened to me before working with usb-sticks or my old mp3 player (long time ago). Like two songs merged together, or some kind of offspring. It was weird.
as the title says when i use my HD to listen to music using the touchflo music player, after a few minutes, the sound cuts out for a few seconds during the song, then resumes. and its not like the song pauses , because when the sound comes back its further along in the song.
initially i thought it was because of the song but the same playlist plays fine using mobile wmp.
anyone else have this problem and has a fix?

Has anyone else been experiencing problems with the music player? When my screen goes black I get random pauses in the song playing just about every ten seconds. It's very annoying and I was wondering if anyone else had this problem or had a fix for it.
I have also encountered this problem. Did a little testing and noticed songs still in mp3 format don't have the random pauses but once a song formated in m4a (according to properties on HD2) starts, the random pauses resume. Any solutions to this would be great!!!
Ahh, that would make sense why some songs played and some skipped. Thanks for that, I'll just have to convert everything I guess.. for now
I'm finding with the stock music player a weird issue. it starts a new song, will play approx. 1 sec, stop, and start playing the song from where it left off. This happens quite often. Anyone else have the issue ?
I have a weird problem with my Nexus 4.
I had a song on it for quit some time, yesterday I tried to play it with Google's Music player (play music I think).
Instead of the song I heard weird electrical noise, the weird thing is, the same song on Youtube is producing the same noises.
Other songs work prefectly.
How can I fix that?
