Desire Hd with 850/1900 mhz 3g bands? - Desire HD General

Is there a model that has 850/1900 mhz 3g bands ? i really like the desire hd but all i can find is models with 3g in : 900/2100 i was told i should buy the inspire 4g but i dont wanna have to pay overprice for the 4g, i live in latinamerica so i dont have use for the 4g here , wasted money

Yes there is
I'm using it now. It's sold by TELUS in Canada.
Desire HD and Inspire 4G are same price and speed. At/t just.branded it 4G to compete with other carriers. But reality they are both hspa phones.

Will ulocked sgs work on t mobile 3g network

Sent from my T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide using XDA App
i looked into bringing in a HTC Desire from UK as it's in Tmo's lineup there and
found that Tmo USA uses different freq band for 3g here - they use AWS IV which is 1700/2100
the 2100 is for download and the 1700 for upload - the UK HTC Desire only had 2100, no 1700 band
found out that without both sides, Tmo USA network will not network with the phone at 3G, only 2G
so unless it's a TMO USA phone you're buying, the answer is no
Thanks for the info

[Q] 3G International Compatibility

Does anyone know if the MyTouch supports UMTS Band 1? This spec sheet says it does:
http://www.tmonews.com/2010/10/t-mobile-reveals-full-mytouch-hd-specs-t-mobile-tv-included/
But on the T-Mobile site for the product specs, it only shows Band IV.

+1 I want to know too.
Bump..
Anyone?
Can this phone hop on the 3G networks in Asia (mainly Taiwan)?
Not likely at all. I would trust the Tmobile web spec.

T-Mobile and Samsung galaxy s 2

Sorry for posting it in the wrong section.. the only reason why I did that is because our vibrant is on t-mobile and I wanted to ask if someone knows if non us version of galaxy s 2 would work on tmobiles 3g or even 4g? Im not sure if the phone has 4g.
I just love how wide the screen is and how clean and simple the phone looks....
Willing to take other phone recommendations.

T-mobile 3g/hspa+ bands
1700/2100
Galaxy S II Bands
HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
it would get 3G on At&T but NOT T-Mobile due to the lack of the 1700 Band.
other then lack of 3G the phone would be fully functional. just stuck using GPRS/Edge for Data.

So in other words it would not be fully functional, and if on T-Mobile a waste of money.

Basicly.... unless u dont need data..
Would it really hurt them just to make it so it would run every frequency?

Maybe. If it works on 1700Mhz and can use HSPA+ it will be able to do 3G. If it only gets 1900Mhz with GSM then it can do Edge.
Unless your area has been refarmed.

MrObvious, It's not very obvious what refarmed is. What do you mean by that?
They are working nationwide on putting 3g not just on their 1700/2100 classic 3g frequencies but the more standard 1900 MHz since their Edge uses that frequency.

Cool, maybe then I will be able to get 3G on my Android phone when it's on 1900 but since I can't get 3G or 4G now I'm not holding my breath.

[Q] LG G2 D802 on T-Mobile US LTE

Hey everyone, does the LG G2 D802 work on T-Mobile's LTE network in the US? I found a great deal on one and thinking about purchasing today. Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks!
I got a great deal in Verizon one. I'm on t mobile $30 plan but I think its only 3g. Got 4mbps d 1.5 up.
Havnt been out yet signal weak.
Sent from my VS980 4G using xda app-developers app
d802 lte radio supports = 800/900/1800/2100/2600 MHz
tmobiles lte = band 4, 1700mhz
So no, only HSPA+
Pretty much the only non tmobile branded g2 that will get lte on tmobiles network is a canadian one iirc.

Have you checked the app settings? If hey are on the fast-tmobile blah blah blah (I know not technical) then I would imagine you getting HSPA+ hopefully
Sent from my LG-D801 using xda app-developers app
You would only get H+ on Tmobile reformatted 900/2100 and edge for when your not on those towers I would double check the 900 in your area

I'm curious why Verizon's VS980 does not work on T-Mobile's LTE 1700(4)? The phone has the correct bands.
Verizon - VS980
GSM 850/900/1800/1900
CDMA 850/1900
UMTS 850/900/1900/2100
LTE 1700(4)/700(13)
Does the UK D802 have LTE?
