I don't get what you're asking? Are you asking the G2 forum for suggestions on phones that are comparable that are gonna trade with you?
If so, you've given us absolutely 0 information about how you want to use the phone or what features you're looking for...
And on top of that, I don't think you're going to find many people in the G2 Forum who think higher of a different device.

If I were you stick with this phone. I have an hd7 and don't use it so I sold it. Windows phones are just straight up boring. Mytouch 4g. Only real diffrence is screen is little bit biigger and no keyboard

Haha I see. From my personal experince with the HD7 it was a good phone but your limited on what you can do, for example the market is all most all paid apps. As for the mytouch 4g there's no reall diffrence since both are android platform but it uses modified sense ui by t-mobile. (I like stock sense since it has more options.)

Get the mt4g. I have both g2 and mt4g. Both are fast. Both are nce.
I use my g2 for my day to day browsing emailing gaming hacking etc.
Mt4g is the work phone. Rooted running latest iced glacier with mysense uninstalled and adw with honey comb theme. Its nice

Dont get a MT4G its too similar to a G2, hardware wise. My recommendation is get a Nexus S, if you want to try something different.
HD7 is a windows phone and those are just boring. I agree something different and good would be the nexus S. If not then just go with the mytouch 4G.
Id wait a bit for something else to be released. Moving on from the G2 to something else right now is not really much different. If u insist, get the mt4g. I won't buy a windows phone too locked down and they are pigs.

Well guys I decided to go with a mytouch 4g, brand new deal.traded the g2 for a hd7.played with it fire a few days, and got bored and traded that for a mytouch 4g..

How are you liking your mt4g? I am thinking of doing the same thing. I prefer the G2 but I want/need an ffc. Between voice input and Swype I do not think I need the physical keyboard as much anymore.
G2 has 512mb ram
Mt4g has 768mb ram

So no more annoying screen locking or screen resets with mt4g? And how many have made the switch and feel it's worth it?
I came from a Nexus and I'm happy. I haven't had any screen problems with this phone like I had with my Nexus One, the multi-touch actually works correctly and I'm kinda digging the mySense UI.
I love my n1, but this phones hardware is just better
I kinda miss the vanilla Android but that's about it. Oh yeah the colour trackball ... the pad is just dumb

That samsung ns thing is a plasticy piece of junk. You would be best off with an HTC VISION (g2 is an htc vision). Surely, the keyboard on Dream influenced your decision? Vision has that.
I disagree about the ns. People like it. I think it looks and feels great. I just hate.......hate Samsung. I would say g2 for Modding mt4g if u like look pretty like my gf. There are alot of rumors going around about T-Mobile getting the HTC pyramid as well though. Google that

Thanks for the reply. What I noticed is that the Samsung has less RAM.
Samsung phones suck. Big time. No way in hell would I trade my phone for that piece if crap.

i agree with the other posters...i had a samsung phone...never again...support sucks and will continue to suck
Actually, my girl has this phone, and has had no problems with it at all. while ive had to warranty out mine over four times now (mt4g), she hasnt even had a problem with it. if you are looking for something new, it wouldnt be a bad trade.

The only products that Samsung makes that are decent are their dumbphones and the Galaxy Tab... Keep the MT4G and wait for the next gen on HTC phones...
My friend has a galaxy 4g, and we did a few tests:
Web browsing : glacier is faster
Camera: glacier is much faster, by that i mean the time from unlock to actually have a photo taken, i prob could have taken a pic and put my phone away before he takes a pic. but galaxy has builtin stitch but no flash.
Screen: i like the lcd better than led, the led has a blue tint to it unless you are looking straight on, the old galaxy had settings for tuning color, but cant find it in the 4g one.
Speaker : galaxy won for sure, glacier 's speaker is a joke.
Wifi module : galaxy can get on wifi within 5 seconds, my glacier takes at least 10, if not 15.
I am starting to like soft keys but rather have a track pad and deal with the clicking.
Mods: from what i have heard, galaxy doesn't have much of development.
TLR = no. Keep the myTouch 4G

Keep the mytouch 4g. I have both and not a single thing can beat mytouch 4g. It is overall the best phone out there until htc pyramid hit the market

Not much... ram is important, the more the merrier. Cpu you can always overclock but with ram you are stuck with whatever built-in. Besides, htc vs samsuck is no comparison at all. Just my 2 pennies

I got the original vibrant and I'm waiting for my new mt4g to come in the mail tomorrow!! Overall the vibrant (original) is a great phone, it has 16 gigs of internal storage along with my 16 gig micro SD. But with the bad gps and the lack of updates and support from T-Mobile and Samsung. I got it from day one. I wouldnt still have it if it wasn't for the awesome devs on xda.

Decided to use my wife's upgrade to get myself the new LG G2x. Is there anyone else going to this phone. It is already getting a lot of promising dev support (unlike the MT3GS). Anyone else venturing to this new device?

I believe that cyanogen posted something on twitter about possibly not supporting the pyramid due to the bootloader with sense. This may be a concern of devs across the board as opposed to the vanilla android from the G2x.

I didnt hear anything about sense being on it. Its suppose to be the next dev phone so i cant see why it would be locked down tight

And it will have the same specs as tge curr MT4G to be replaced by the MT5G later one I have my eye on the SK4G or G2x .

Got my G2x yesterday, absolutely love the thing...only thing is I miss my physical keyboard ...G2x already has root and CWM recovery though!!
T-Mobile is replacing my MyTouch4G under warranty with the extra warranty coverage that I pay for.
Should I put the ROM back to stock and lock it, before sending the defective one back to them, or do they not care?
I would, just in case..I don't think S-OFF/ON matters that much unless you can get into the bootloader.

Better safe than sorry. You can always reroot the phone but can't unvoid a warranty. At a very least flash stock rom.

I received the Sensation, but I don't like it. I think that I'm going to ask for another MyTouch 4G. The Sensation seems too big in my hand. The MyTouch 4G, similar to the IPhone, I think is the perfect size.

I have a mytouch 4g i just replaced got a new in box sensation for 150 with out upgrading my contract its a huge step forward man id look into getting one
