Not one review lists the breakdown of the 32GB. This thing could have 512MB of app space for all we know.

Fantastic review. Kind of disappointing though about the meh screen and honeycomb instability.

I am not too worried about the software instability as that is easily fixable from OTA updates. I lived through Windows 95/98 for a while so I can deal with some crashes here and there. The screen though is another matter. Most of the reviews I have read don't seem to think it is a dealbreaker..

Surprised that Motorola didn't give Xooms to Android sites, that sux.

[Q] EVO3d, does it have sense 2?

as it says, anyone find out if it has it? source would be nice too if anyone can find one.
Most likely. No confirmation on that specific yet.

I would be Very surprised if it did not.
watching engadget liveblog it now...
well it has that "customize" icon on the rosie bar that has only been on sense 2.0 devices, so i would have to say yes it does.

not really a tablet craze fan, was thinking of grabbing on of those ColorNooky to root this weekend, just for fun...
but yeah, the shots of the View were pretty compelling.
hands-on coming...
wheres the kickstand?
looks like a dedi camera button? big silver thing?
Off topic I know, but why the heck does engadget never give a non-apple product a 9. Actually that kind of answers itself. Carry on.

There's a hands on on BGR's site, but it's not very detailed... It shows that button is for the camera yes, and there's a switch beside it to switch from 2d and 3d photos I think it said..

A New Video With Galaxy Tab 10.1

It's the thin version.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdu5PVjCGo0
thanks, that display does look good against the ipad 2
It also looks like stock honeycomb with no Samsung ui on top of it.
Sent this message from my Samsung Vibrant running 2.2 stock!
Seeing as this is the first time the thin 10.1 has been in public with a working OS, it is probably still an unpolished version. There were a few times when it didn't seem that responsive (could be with the way the person was using it) but hopefully, whatever quirks, laginess etc is in the device can be ironed out by the time it is released publicly.
Damn ... I want it now

My only issue is that the screen was.... glossy. Maybe it's just the color of the wallpaper. I hope not!

Um... no, I'm pretty sure it's gonna stay glossy, lol. However, the display looks amazing. It may even be iPad quality~
Edit: Im lying, I honestly can't tell from the video. Though the viewing angles do look fine.

It's not the viewing angles, it's the lights that were reflected on it. Not a problem for me, just other people I feel bad for.
One of the main reason's I'll buy this tablet is the screen.

What..? What do you mean "It's not the viewing angles.. it's the lights...", I know that lol. The reflection of the lights has to do with the glossy screen. I am very curious to know if this model of the tab is even using the PLS screen~
Honeycomb seemed very smooth here. In videos of the Xoom this wasn't always the case.
That looks awesome.

I'm surprised this video hasn't made its way onto the popular tech sites. Many people kept claiming that "Samsung is lying.", that they probably couldn't even get the tablets this thin for real. And now here is the proof and there is only one small little thread for it over here at xda.

For anyone who wants to see what gingerbread will look like

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMKIgqHAlJc
I would love to see that on my Atrix. Look at how fast it made that Droid!.
Sent from my MB860 using XDA Premium App
Yeah motoblur up until that sucks. This actually looks decent and seems quick.
I still have a Droid X my kids use for watching videos and playing games and I had to do a bunch of stuff to get gingerbread on it. Once done, Gingerbread is a well polished machine by comparison to previous versions. It adds the LITTLE THINGS that iPhone users tend to enjoy. I liked it and give it a big thumbs up.
my motoblur work like that...but......and with live wallpaper??? still fast or like a cheat?

Wow... Can't wait for this. Blurified gingerbread seems nice. A lot better than the ugly stock theme from 2.1/2.2.
Made that DX scream.
:O i want it!
i made that Droid X fast on a single core processor imagine on our dual core!
i got to say one thing tho. the dock was kind of motoblurs trade mark. its 3 little green white and blue icons, now gone...
OH WELL LET ME HAVE THAT 2.3 MOTOBLUR!
lol

I didnt post what you quoted so I cant speak for him but I will elaborate, slightly. I have gingerbread CM7 on the Captivate and there are several things I like about it.
First and formost, and this is petty, the screen does the "crt monitor" screen on/off effect animation thingy. Its superficial, but awesome. There are several other interface changes that are an improvement imo.
Secondly, native wifi internet calling via SIP. It still takes some setting up and know how but you only have to read to learn.
Of course there are "speed" improvement like always.
Theres a Download (manager) app.
Finally, security. You probably read about that already.

yes.but nothing is certain
If these turn out to be real then I'd say with their new policies supporting developers and their bootloader opening and offering these two dual core devices I can't see any reason to not trust SE. Yes at first with x10 they were a pretty poor show but now 2 years on it seems they are back on track. I can't decide if not sd card space is good, would you need more than 32 gb? That really is a whole lot of storage! Only thing is can recovery menu work with no sd card to install files. This is definately a step in the right direction with their latest decisions and polices, good on you SE

Nope, all i'm going to say is we'll see when then actually get released.
Hopefully they won't hold off too long so that they stay current with tech and cash in on this dual core craze.
I wish it was a benchmark I've heard of though.

Others may not care, but I despised the Arc S for the lack of a front camera
Agreed. Like the front facing camera. Also want microSD card option. 32gb might seem a lot now but so did 128mb back in the days. 1080p or even 720p encoding takes a lot of space...then there's the media you put on (shows, movies, music, etc.). It adds up quickly.
Yea a front facing camera would be really nice

I feel like by the time 8gb is actually needed to run Android, the other specs will be significantly outdated. I think I'll stick with the 6gb model.
The new camera app
A definitive improvement in the camera department would be my biggest reason to go to the OP5.
However, this takes battery life same or better than OP3T and a solid overall performance for granted, given the indicated price range.
IP68 and 4k. My last two phones got water damaged. Not going to buy another phone without IP68
