Agreed. This looks great.

They should have made the silve samsung logo the power on button!
Then you could turn on the device no matter how you hold it
Charbax in the 1st video is crazy as always.

Spot on!
Since we're talking about a few weeks I would wait just to get a hands-on with the new toshiba, and decide then.
I have the Tab 7.7 and it is definitely a great device. I still can't get used to type on an onscreen keyboard that's why I am still using my DZ as my mobile office.

If I compare my SGS 2 to the Transformer Prime, the SGS 2 with the previous gen Exynos does everything the Prime does, and does so "snappier". I.e. installing/upgrading apps, the TP grinds to a halt until the install is complete, whereas there is barely any slowdown on the SGS 2. Both munch through 1080p video no problems. I have yet to see any application on the tablet to actually require all the CPU power the Tegra 3 offers, and if it's about watching a movie on the go, both can do it well.
The snappyness should not be defended by reasoning that the TP has to drive more pixels, after all, it's got way more horsepower too!
Now if Samsung finally put out that missing ICS update for the 7.7...

Nice
Wow... I mean, that's cool and all but it means absolutely nothing. He pulled those percentages out of his ass.
I can do the same thing, ready?
...The Galaxy S3 is 90000% better than your laptop because it's more portable.

S note on galaxy tab 10.1 gt-p7510?

Hi,
I looked at the function in galaxy note 10.1, and I really like the S note function. I have a question, is there any possibility tht s note will work on my galaxy tab 10.1 gt-p7510??
I hope that someone can.port the feature to our gtab 10.1 too.
TQ.
Are you talking about the software it self or the ability to use a pen?

I mean the software cuz i know s pen only works for the galaxy note and galaxy note 10.1. I can always use a stylus pen to replace the s pen. Thanks for making my question a bit clear !!
Someone?

Galaxy 10.1...What the...!?

Saw one for the first time at a local shop.
Screen is AWFUL...might as well buy a ipad2 for that diluted contrast. How can Samsung, the king of displays, come out with such crapiness...Wow!
(My precious, precious 7.7...)
XK
why is this here?
Because I can not understand the HUGE difference between the 7.7 and 10.1 displays quality and would like it commented by fellow 7.7 users.
Is it OK with you?
XK
Probably a pentile display, right?
Samsung really needs to get their act together on this, is absurd that they put a pentile display in their flagship phone.

SAMOLED+ vs LCD. Big SAMOLEDs are expensive, which explains most of the price of the 7.7 compared to the 7+. A SAMOLED 10.1 is not feasible today.

Samsung hasn't really got a 'good' 10.1 tab, as the Galaxy note 10.1 is as bad it seems.

I understand that...but the TFT on my original Galaxy was quite good...and so was the one in the 8.9, which I passed only because of that "lack of SD slot" stunt.
Seeing that 10.1, it's like they're moving backwards...

I actually really like last years model and cm10 jelly bean runs really well on it. Version 2 Kinda sucks. The screen isn't that great and it's ugly.

I am sorry. I should have made clear I was writing about the version 2.
...not only does Samsung load-up their "tab cannon" and sprinkle tabs all around but they also make sure the naming is as confusing as it could be...Together with screens that actual get WORSE, no wonder Mr. Hankil Yoon finds they are not doing very well

Yeah, the Tab 2 isn't the successor to the regular Tab. It's more of a low cost alternative, while the new "high end" 10.1 tablet, which you're supposed to compare to the original Tab 10.1, is the Note 10.1. AFAIK, the Note 10.1 compares well with the original Tab 10.1 in every aspect.
Yesh, confusing as hell.Samsung should have made their names more straightforward.
Quit all your damn griping and enjoy your stupid consumer electronics. Get some bleedin' perspective on life.

[REQ] Port or Create multiwindow like Rockchip's multitasking?

this is Rockchip's multitasking, Is it possible to run on Nexus4?
Wow that is impressive
that's very nice, but it seems like it would be really cramped on anything smaller than a 7" tablet
Yeah Samsung Note 10.1 has the same type of multitasking which works wonderful once you root the device because then you can multitask with any app you have and not Samsung specific ones. Bought a note 10.1 recently because of this feature.
If it was possible.. HOW on earth are you suppose to read everything on our tiny screens.. LOL

+1 works well on the note 10.1, but this looks more fluid. Even with the stylus it's a pain to hit the buttons in the corner, reminds me too much of windows. The gesture support seems much better.
Yes, it's great on a 7" inch tablet but it would be cool to have it on a Nexus 4 !
Anyone has more information about this tablet and this new multitask system ?

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong, But Samsung implementation seems to only be custom apps that work in window form, but this seems to be a framework implementation?
Meaning this should work well with all Play Store apps as long as they followed the Android development guidelines and have a tablet UI. (fragments, panels etc)

I would love to see this on the Nexus 4. Thanks for sharing!
