Try plugging in the usb without the battery then hold both volume buttons insert battery then press power works for some
Currently running ______________! (<----Insert Rom Name Here)

It may have been because your keys are now remapped, try different combinations

which keys for example?

This should work!
This should work but you have to follow to the word, please:
Get your phone into DOWNLOAD mode by turning off your phone (leave battery in) and plugging it in (use USB that is connected to your PC). Wait for the green charging screen to come up. Hold Volume Up + Volume down, then press and hold Power. Let go of POWER as soon as the screen goes BLACK.
Let me know how it went.
Cheers!

Battery pull, put battery back in. Hold Vol up AND Vol down at the same time, and then plug in USB hold for 5 seconds while still holding the volume buttons.

If you had debugging checked, you can use ADB to get the phone into download mode.
Code:
adb reboot download

i tested all the ways befor but not answering
until i used the adb
i finally succed to rich the download mod page
bout when i started odin and start flashing official rom,the process doesnt start really and stoped at loading
(there was 2 pit files in official rom page, one of them ziped with the odin file download link : s1_odin_20100513
and another one was simple link for downloading suitable pit for the rom : s1_odin_20100512
and i tested s1_odin_20100512 pit )
i waited about a 45 minuts ,but nothing changes!
i restarted the pc but still the same
atlast i forsed to remove the cable and tets in again
but the pc couldnt know the phone and no connection was happend!
i removed the battery and put it back again
and when i powerd on the phone it shows the brake icon
i tested all the ways in this threades (except hardware metods):

Can you still get into Download Mode the way I mentioned above, without ADB at this point? And if you do, does Odin see the COM5? If both true, i'll send you the link to the two files you need to flash to Stock. Don’t worry about Windows seeing your phone now, but Odin must see it.

They have the correct, working files, i tried it myself. It is very important to only have 2 checked boxes on Odin when you flash and nothing else. In my case it failed the first time, I repeated the entire process again and it passed, it shouldn't take longer than 10 min. Good luck!

Just for good measure, it's not a bad idea to reinstall the Windows drivers. Also, Odin v1.3 has the best results imho. Try flashing JFD with the partition box checked off.

unfortunatly i checked the "repartition" box by the advice from one of my friends and process stoped at loading and i hade to remove the cable and u know what happened aftar it......

Ups...., I've seen a lot of people screaming because they checked that box, but everything has a way around it.
Try this if you haven't already:
1. Remove SD and SIM card
2. Remove battery
3. Plug the phone into USB (connected to PC)
4. Press and Hold Vol-up and Vol-down buttons
5. Install the battery back in while holding the buttons
Anyway, what is that brake avatar you are talking about look like? (can you post a pic)
Also, regardless of the screen on the phone, after the boot procedure, if you start Odin, does it see the phone (COM.....green)?
If none of the above helps, look up ADB guide, that's another way to manipulate the phone. Let me know how it goes with Odin.

Ah, OK. Now that I see the avatar you have been talking about I can tell you it's not soo bad. I was sitting where you are just a week ago, also by flashing the wrong ROM. The difference is that I did not have so much trouble getting into download. Do this to check if the ROM you flashed did not disble your vol buttons.
-pull the battery out to make sure the phone is off and put it back in (do not power it)
-connect the charger to the wall outlet (not PC) and then to the phone
-once the battery animation comes up, wait for the screen to turn off (about 1-2min)
-once off, press (not hold) the vol up button, the battery animation should come back (this would be a good sign)
-do the same using the vol down button once the animation dissapears again
-if true for both buttons, use one of them to bring the animation back on the screen, hold both (vol up and vol down) buttons, press and hold power button (do not let go of the vol buttons), AS SOON AS THE SCREEN GOES BLACK, let go of the power (still holding the vol buttons) until you see Downoad Mode.
If you manage to get into Download, re-install the USB drivers on Windows just in case, unplug you phone from the wall, it will stay in Download. If you're using a desktop PC, use the USB ports in the back, dirctly on the mother board and not the extensions in the front of the box since they might run less power, as in my case and Winsows would not see the phone. If you're using a laptop, I gues it wouldn't matter inless you have a USB hub, if you do, remove it. One more thing to consider, make sure you have the latest Odin, or maybe try a different version, uninstall and install it back on after the drivers.
If you don't get into download, leave the phone on and start Odin a few times to see if it catches anything, unplug the USB, plug it back in and start Odin.....etc.
I hope you left USB debugging ON the last time your phone was up and running. Consider doing these steps a few times before you give up, I had to do some of the procedures twice before success. In the meantime I will see if someone has some extra commands for ADB.
Good Luck!

No, here:
1. Open Command Prompt:
type: cd C:\Program Files\Droid Explorer\SDK\Tools\
then type: adb devices
(you should get feedback off this command telling you details about your phone)
Then type: adb reboot download
or try: su
reboot download
If you still can't get there, try this:
mount -o rw,remount -t yaffs2 /dev/block/stl9 /system
and then repeat the previous steps.

Once you get back into download mode.....
If you are running Windows 7:
Reboot your system and hit F8 to get the safe mode options, then select to disable driver signature enforcement. Make sure you right click on Odin when you start it up and select run as admin.
If you do not disable driver signature enforcement ODIN will not work on windows 7. It'll freeze in the beginning of the flash.

I did mine on Win 7 and didn't have to do anything special, installed and ran...
Then again, there are different cases.

im currently stuck at that same "brake screen" It takes me about 20 mins each time to get into download mode where odin and xp recognize the device but when i start odin it freezes at file analysis. i know it had debugging on before. when i try to adb it hangs for a sec then says device not found.
im going nuts
edit...1 click odin was the problem. used the regular with the correct files. boom. im up and running

Xperia X10i Flash Mode

Hi guys,,, just bought myself a X10i to play with,,, figured I,ve flash the thing with a rom from the developers forum,
This is where I came unstuck,,,, cant for the life of me get it into flash mode.
Instructions were as follows
1 With fone OFF. Hold down back button and insert usb cable, green light comes on and hit enter. What bloody enter, on the fone or on your keyboard. I,ve tried both, fone just keeps on booting into the main screen, nothing even resembles a flash mode screen. Tried this untill my thumb nearly bled.
Someone help please.
Read the tuts in the dev forum. P.S. no custom roms yet but there is root.

Try hold down "back button" without battery then insert USB cable and then insert battery.
When it says to hit enter, that is to continue from the screen (on the PC) that says "press any key to continue" when you are doing the steps for rooting. If you don't have that window ready the phone will only stay in flash mode for about 5 seconds and then it will continue to boot. So, just make sure you are ready with the PC before entering flash mode.

Hi,
I know this post is pretty old, but still I'm struglig the second day now to get into flash mode and still no luck despite trying every method there is on the web.
I've got Xperia X10i mini pro, reinstalled standard ROM with PC companion just to make sure it's nothing with the software or any modifications I made to it.
I'm guiding myself with instruction given here:
wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Sony_Ericsson_Xperia_Mini_Pro:_Full_Update_Guide
in order to get my bootloader unlocked
what I've done so far:
-installed Android SDK incl. SDK Tools, SDK Platform-tools, Google USB driver package. Not installed any API from SDK.
-put android_winusb.inf (18 KB size) in C:\android-sdk-windows\extras\google\usb_driver
-in general- everyting given here: wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Howto:_Install_the_Android_SDK#Windows
command
Code:
adb devices
rerurns
Code:
List of devices attached
43423531315537465737 device
in my opinion meaning it works as it should.
So I turn the phone off, unplug the cable both from computer and the phone, take the abttery out, plug both end of USB cable where these should be, hold the Back button (tried with Volume up too) and put the battery in.
The result is it only goes into flash mode for several seconds (confirmed by SuperOneClisk log) and then goes into charging mode. nothing gets displayed on the screen. Only when PC Companion is on it detects it, than looses it and pops up with a window on how to properly connect the device... :/
So can someone please tell me what I do wrong?
Why it doesn't stay in flash mode?
PS. when I enter *#*#7378423#*#* to access the service menu, after pressing the last * the numbers just disappear and nothing happens...
Pls help
Edit:
I somehow got around that with s1tool and Flashtool. But eventually I could not go along the way given at cyanogenmod.com and unlocked with the help of this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1254225

You need workclock recovery installed in your phone, you can find all the info and links in the forum or you can use youtube. With out that you can't install any rom.

Start here. All the info is in the wiki.

Good luck and welcome.
you need to install the drivers too. If you previously had a Samsung Moment then you should uninstall those drivers first. The drivers you need should be in the clockwork post or the root post.
FYI- you dont need to root if you are going to flash a rom that is already rooted.

I mean PDA Net,it will ask you to download app for windows, download it put it on ur pc,reboot windows hold F8 then disable driver signiture, install pda net on ur pc and it will install drivers for u,just hope u not using 64bit windows cuz then it might get more complicated
i hate to be a ****.. but everything needed is in the 1st stickied thread in this sub-forum... 32 and 64 bit drivers are there along with the one click root... install the drivers, enable debugging on phone download the one click root. 2.4.0 extract it then run the "run.bat" sit back and wait.. when its all done your phone will be rooted, have supersuser and clockwork recovery.
if that dont make sense you should give the wiki a read before just jumping in.

If you want more than just root (a custom rom) you need to install ClockworkMod Recovery first. Root allows you to theme and change fonts and over/underclock and other things like that, but you seem like you want to apply roms instead of developing them (like myself), so you will need ClockworkMod before anything else.
If the one-click exploit for root worked, the same thing for CWM should work too. Before you try to flash it, just make sure:
1. You have the USB drivers installed.
2. You have freshly rebooted your phone. (This is important and frequently overlooked.)
3. USB debugging is activated.
4. Stay awake is activated (my own safety check, lol).
Get the CWM one-click from here:
http://www.sdx-downloads.com/devs/noobnl/one.click.clockworkmod2.5.1.0-flasher-fixed.zip
Unzip it, go through the list above, and run the "run-try-last.bat". Your phone should auto-reboot (you should hear some device inserted and removed sounds on your Windows, give it a minute or two). Let your phone reboot, and then turn it off. Then hold down the volume-down and camera buttons, then hold the power button (during the samsung logo) until the recovery comes up.
If your text is green, it worked and you can start flashing roms/kernels/themes/apps/whatever. If the text is blue, restart. If it boots normally while you're holding the buttons, your recovery somehow got completely deleted and Odin is required.
now what do u mean as far as freshly rebooted....like reboot to factory , like empty phone or simply turn off and then back on?

Do I understand you used rom manager to install cwm? If so you just flashed TF201 recovery ( cwm ) onto a TF300 unit.

Humor me!
Example:
I can run "adb logcat" and get logs long before unit completely boots or leaves the screen you are stuck on. Force power off by holding power till screen goes black power on, give one of the commands I gave above,. Do the same and try the other command. Report. You are pretty well trapped and we are looking for any way to process one command by adb or fastboot.
If neither of the above works we have a couple more option. but they will be handled much the same.
In looking at our posts I don't believe we are communicating very well.
Maybe someone else can come in and help you better.
Anyone?

Edit:I went to the center asus, and I taked my asus tablet, they told me that asus did that price (150€, i not accept that price and i take my tab to home), and that there may be a cable (I doubt it) that has the ability to connect your tablet to your PC even if bricked.
the tablet now is currently charging because battery is too low to poweron.
i hope you might help me. I'm desperate
The pc didn't recognize it in any way, try vol+ and power , vol- and power but nothing, can't access to flash menu and pc didn't recognize. how can i do?

If you have cord plugged between pc and tablet and both powered on do you get anything if you use command ( adb devices )? I'm not talking about trying to get into any menu or using volume or anything else.
Just connect the cord between pc and tablet and give command.
You may have already done this but I'm not sure and it would be nice to know the message if the command fails!

connect powered tablet to pc and in terminal type - adb devices - tell me what response you get from command.
It may not work but is worth a try before you go farther.
If you have not set your path for adb you will need to cd into proper directory with terminal first before sending command. I can't even guess because I don't know your OS but since you had cwm you have used the terninal - Windows = cmd or command.com

This shows us you are in your home directory and your os does not know where adb is located. You probably used fastboot to flash cwm to your tablet. Fastboot and adb are normally in the same directory and you need to cd to that directory as you did when you flashed cwm.
If you don't know where that is located you can search for adb or fastboot.
Sorry I don't have windows, I'm using Ubuntu on a mac (I don't even use mac but have it on an external drive if needed). We can figure it out if we are both patient.
So if the above does not give needed results tell me and we'll adjust.
Ok i've tried fastboot and adb but fastboot tell me:wait for device and adb devices can't recognize tablet, there are no device under the list of connected device.
I've tried fastboot reboot and adb reboot to test if the device was connected but nothing happened.

One step down. If you have tf300t on left side about one inch - 25.4 mm below sdcard there is a small hole (reset). With cord still plugged between pc and tablet, power on tablet and use a small paperclip to insert gently into hole. As you insert you will feel it stop, gently push slightly farther and you will feel a little spring.
This will cause your unit to restart and if we are lucky there will be a change in what happens with commands (adb - fastboot) and or what is displayed on the screen.

Only two things left that I know about. You previously listed a link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1766227 that might possibly work but at the position we are in currently if it doesn't work we won't know the difference and the drivers already on your pc that are known to work will be replaced so.
1.
I have seen a post somewhere that the case was removed and the battery disconnected and then reconnected and that allowed access to the bootloader menu by holding down volume while reconnecting the battery.
2.
Try the drivers listed above.

I don't like either choice but with no adb or fastboot access, no recovery, and no bootloader menu we are pretty well trapped.
Just thought of something I have read twice recently. Even though fastboot appears to not work give it the command two or three times. I think I would try this first. Since a stock blob contains rom and recovery I would try to flash stock 10.4.2.13 blob.
fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash system blob
wait here because this is a big file
fastboot -i 0x0B05 reboot
You would unzip stock 10.4.2.13 twice to get the blob. Place the blob into the directory where you found fastboot.

Does windows device manager sees any kind of a transformer device?
If yes try to install the drivers by hand.
right klick on the device
choose update driver software
choose search manually on computer
next window choose from a list on computer (the one at the buttom of the window)
Then you will get a 2sided window
right side you have the company names
left side you have the model type
if you have something like asus ther on the right side choose it
then on the left side choose Asus android ADB device (!!!! not the one with Composite)
then klick on next
if a window pops up saying something like its not recommended just hit yes and install it anyway.
Translatet it from German, so I hope the translation is correct. Just follow the steps and you will know what I mean.

Lg g3 auto-rec "hard brick" fix

Hello everyone, first let me give major props to my man @bender_007 for creating the amazing LG G Series Autorec Apps which make installing TWRP on LG G Devices a simple process and for also helping me and others who ignorantly misused his app, thanks B!
Anyway recently I bought a LG G3 on Verizon that was on 35b 5.1.1 Lollipop and I rooted. Boy was I eager to get some TWRP poppin on this beast, however flashing TWRP thru Flashify and TWRP Manager left me unsuccessful giving me Secure Booting Error. So desperate I seen Autorec on the Play Store, installed immediately. From there I went through the app's proccesses and from there attempted to boot into recovery hoping for some success.... I did not realize this was went for 24b 5.0.1 until it was late, I mean hey he says it in the description. The phone was dead it wouldn't show anything on the display when I held the power button and it only vibrated, I was f***ed.... At least that is what I thought. I used the method below that me and @bender_007 were collaborating upon as he tried to help me. So please give him credit. I cannot guarantee this will work for you but it worked for me and you don't have to worry about opening up your phone and shorting pins, that nonsense if this works for you.

THE LATEST KDZ FOR YOUR PHONE MODEL (GOOGLE IT)
Your Dead but Still Amazing LG G3 and a USB Cable
Note: IF DONE PROPERLY YOU WILL STILL HAVE ALL YOUR EXSISTING DATA PRE-BRICK
PROCEDURE
1. Gather all materials, and know the locations of all your downloaded files.
2. Install the drivers for your phone.
3. Unzip LGFlashTool_2014.zip
4. Move the .KDZ you should've downloaded to the LGFLASHTOOL_2014 folder.
5. Open Device Manager (press start, type in Device Manager into search bar, hit enter)
6. Click View, "Show Hidden Devices"
7. PLUG in USB CABLE TO COMPUTER ONLY!
8. THIS STEP IS VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT! TAKE THE BATTERY OUT OF YOUR LG G3. PUT IT BACK IN. CLOSE THE BACK. HOLD VOLUME UP ONLY, WHILE HOLDING POWER UP DO NOT LET GO PLUG IN OTHER HALF OF USB CABLE INTO PHONE. KEEP HOLDING VOLUME UP FOR 20 SECONDS. YOURE PHONES SCREEN WILL STILL BE BLACK AND IT SHOULDVE VIBRATED ABOUT 2 SECONDS AFTER YOU PLUGGED IN WIRE (You'll know when you do it right when COMPUTER says installing drivers in bottom right corner.)
9. In Device Manager under Modems there should be something like LGandroidNET I DONT REMEMBER EXACTLY THIS IS ALL OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD. Anyway, if it says that then you are good, believe it or not your in download mode. (IF YOU DO NOT SEE THIS REPEAT STEP 8)
10. Go to LGFlashTool_2014 folder and run the LGFlashTool2014.exe application.
11. Change PhoneMode to Emergency
12. For "SELECT KDZ FILE" open the folder of the the FlashTool, it should be on it by default and pick the KDZ file.
13. Click "Normal Flash"
14. On the next SCREEN click "START" at the bottom
15. Now there should be a pop-up that says "Select Country & Language" Do not mess with this, just click "OK"
16. There should be a SCREEN now that has a % or whatever... From HERE TO THE END OF IT DO NOT UNPLUG YOUR PHONE!!!
17. When you hit like 85% your phone will boot up do not UNPLUG still and once it hits 100% your done! Safe to UNPLUG and YOU FIXED YOUR PHONE!!!!!!
If you have any questions please ask I have pure empathy for anyone who goes through this hell.
The first time I attempted to connect the phone I successfully had the phone under the modem tab. After being unable to find a .KDZ file (after a minute of searching) I stupidly tried another approach. Now after that not cooperating, I came back to attempt this again after finding a .KDZ file and am unable to set up the device properly to show under the modem tab. I'm following your instructions exactly and gave no luck. Any idea why this would be happening?

Okay I'm here to provide my best assistance and for that you'll have to answer a few questions?
1. What is your device model? ex. VS985 Verizon
2. What KDZ did you attempt to flash? ex. VS98547a_01.kdz
Looking forward to your reply.

@wombatthing I would go to device manager go to view "Show Hidden devices" then disconnect your phone take out battery put it back in close back then hold volume up for 20 SECONDS while doing that connect to computer. It probably won't say installing drivers because you said it worked the First time, from there see if it's under Modems. Good luck my friend in here for any questions

Will this method keep all my files that were stored in the internal memory? I'm not worried about the device, i just want my files! Camera pictures etc.
Edit. I tried it but in DIAG mode because i'm afraid emergency can delete my files? I can see the "LGandroidNET " but no vibration and seems like the driivers never install properly. My phone is completely dead.
@bender_007 @OneShotGoGetter
Thanks

My friend all is good. First of all as long as it says LGandroidnet you are good you should be in download mode, in lg flash took for mode click emergency and not diag then click normal flash THIS WILL KEEP YOURE DATA IF YOU SEE CRS FLASH OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT THEN ITLL RESET YOURE PHONE just do Emergency and Normal Flash and it should work. Hope I help if you have questions please ask.
@Ray1000 "Emergency" Mode is just Download Mode flashing. Diag is not that's why you were unsuccessful.
Thanks for this! I'm getting stuck at the end (step 16) when the flash tool says:
"Problem with communication between cell phone and PC.
Please disconnect the cable from your cell phone in order and remove and connect the battery. Power on your cell phone and press the Restart button to resume update. If LG Support Tool is stopped abnormally, try with [Options]-[Upgrade Recovery] in tool menu."
I've tried just clicking the retry button, and also unplugging the phone and putting it in recovery mode again before clicking retry. Neither has worked so far. Any thoughts?
Phone is D855, kdz version is D855V20b_00
For all people with Windows 10 an problems with drivers (device is detected by Windows but app is not connecting). Decompress de correct cab for your Windows version, and update the driver "Qualcomm HS-USB QDloader 9008" with the path you used to extract. Now this driver isn't advertising that isn't signed anymore, and all apps will connect with your LG G3
Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 2.1.0.5 x86
Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 2.1.0.5 x64

Sorry for the late response. First of all you are welcome. I don't know if you fixed the problem yet but I'll help anyway. First remove youre battery for at least 10 seconds then put battery in, hold up and connect charger for 20 seconds. Of you are unsuccessful try reinstalling drivers. Best of luck my friend.

Hi,
Thank you for this post. But unfortunately I can not get back my device. What happened was I bricked my phone while flashing TWRP. It's a G3 D855 and does not power on at all. Screen is blank, no LED or vibrate. I tried volume up/down combinations with power button but nothing happens. However when I connect it to PC, device manager shows it under Modem and COM ports.

The only problem was phone did not vibrate when I connect it as you mentioned.
Do you think my phone is gone forever? Is there any other way? Appreciate a reply.

He guys thank you very much. My LG3 was already down for months after many failed attempts and I was about to bin it. Decided to give it one last try, found your instructions and it works, I now have Marshmallow!! (However I downloaded the KDZ file from "downloadmirror.de" and I am not sure if that was a good idea.

Completely dead after updating

So I downloaded the Android 7.1.1 and installed it via the update tool on the phone. I have not rooted, nor was I running a custom rom.
Everything went fine, until I looked over and noticed the phone was turned off. I figured it was part of the process, but after leaving it, nothing happened. I now can not power the phone on(It won't even vibrate to indicate it is trying)
The LED is also not turning on when I plug it in.
Any ideas?

Couple of questions:
1. Where did you download Nougat 7.1.1 from?
2. Did you get any message when you unzip the file?
3. Did you notice anything unusual during update before you realised the phone didn't turn on?
Try if you can get into recovery by holding Power and Volume Up. If you can, try updating from there. That is, copy the update zip to the external sdcard, find Apply update from external sdcard, press the Power button. Let it finish then Reboot.
Good luck

I found it online, based on the link it looks like it is from ZTE's russia page.
This could be why it happened?
I got no messages at all. I just selected to install from an SD card in the settings menu, and it started everything.
As best as I can tell, it went out while the little android guy was on screen.
Can't get to recover, phone won't power on at all. Tried holding the power button for 45 seconds and that also did nothing.

I downloaded from ZTE Russian site as well and updated fine. Nothing wrong with the software.
As you can't even boot into recovery, I'm afraid your phone is permanently bricked. I'm at my wits end. Maybe someone else has a better idea.

I also have a bricked Axon 7 mini, what we need is to figure out where the Test-Point is located. I have tried to find it without success.
@ viper98,,
In you case, you can send your phone to repair center. This issue might not be fixed by flash or TWRP.
Thanks!

hi. could you please let me know exactly how you did this?
mine is totally dead, no buttons work, not detected by pc in any way.
made a deepflash cable....nothing
only a tiny dash at the corner of the screen, blinking when connected to pc.
if I open the phone and shortcircuit the test point would I get the COM port detected?
this is all I need, but I thought what you did was the same as the deepflash cable does?
PLEASE!!!! I killed it trying to roll back to android 6 after upgrading to 7 loosing my imei,.
now I don't care about imei, just bring it back to life. but to be honest I think mine is gone forever.....
did you remove the battery to make sure the phone was not in charging mode? please....how did you do it?
Thanks in advance
EDL-MODE Test-Point method
1. Open up your phone and disconnect the battery
2. Circuit test-point
3. Use deepflash cable and push button
4. Connect the battery
5. Push button on deepflash cable or change to regular usb cable when you see HS-USB Diagnostics 9008 in device manager. Flash edl recovery image with miflash.
Only Deepflash Cable method without opening phone
1. Use deepflash cable and push button
2. Press power key
3. Look for HS-USB Diagnostics 9008 in device manager.
With the right deepflash it's the same as using test-point. It was not that easy to open the phone. This one from ebay is the only deepflash cable that worked for me, tried my own homemade without success. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2-in1-Deep...140594?hash=item3af2795332:g:8kgAAOSw-QZZyfgH

After 2 months I also recovered mine from its "deep afterlife".
The above procedure was quite straightforward, actually all you need is patience, skills to open the phone to begin with, perseverance, but most of all...... faith!
To be honest I'm not sure how, but after the test point nothing happened, and I left my phone plugged in, battery disconnected, and left it alone for a while to finally hear the windows driver sound.......at the end it worked. Thanks a lot.

Yeah it is no fun to open up the phone. Happy to hear that you revived the phone from the dead.
