[RQ] HTC HD2 Stock ROMs - HD2 General

Okay... First of all, I'm sorry for starting a new thread, but it is really urgent...
I installed a WP7 ROM on my dad's HD2, just to see if I could. Apparently I can. Aaaand, here's the problem... I have no idea how to revert it to a stock HD2 ROM. Yes, I am an idiot... I've been looking around the forum and the official HTC site for hours now, but I can't seem to find a proper ROM... So, please, PLEASE, somebody help...
The device serial number is SH07SNW00110, if that's of any help. Please help. (((((

If its a Tmous then look here
If its an EU HD2 then look here
If its a branded device then remember to get the right ROM for your carrier.
Hope that helps.

Thank you!

if you want your phone exactly like before, make sure you also uninstall HSPL

..HardSPL is uninstalled when you revert from WP7.

If you revert with flashing a STOCK Rom - hspl will be erased. Exactly.

If you flash the correct stock rom, definitely will delete hspl. The stock rom contain spl, radio and os, while custom rom contains only os (although few of the also contain radio)
Cheers...

White Screen after Soft reset and HD hangs/freezes

Hi You all,
Can someone help me out? I have installed an custom rom, like Energy of Artemis 8.0. When installing a programme to run on the HD and have to do a soft reset my HD freezes and have to install the custom rom again, otherwise he wil not work at all. It won't go into the bootloader?
Thank you for your help,
Arno
It sounds like you flashed an incompatible radio, perhaps ask you querys in the thread of whoevers ROM you flashed.

That's because radios with 51 in the naming convention don't support the 576m hack and at least for the NRG rom I know these radios won't work. You need to use either 2.08.50 or 2.07.50 for that rom (can't speak for the Artemis rom).

i think not depend from radio
if the radio is wrong, your device don't boot
try Mtty or task29 solution
for cleaner well memory device
and after flash rom execute hard reset

Believe me it is the radio. Read the NRG thread and there are at least 57,365 people with the same problem. Ok, I may be exaggerating just a little but it seems like that many. The device does boot but gets stuck at the white HTC screen.

just to throw in a little agreement with clydeb, on non tmous phones,if the radio is incorrect the phone starts, but hangs on the grey screen until you boot to bootloader and correct the radio.
i'm using Artemis 8.0...radio is 2.08 no problem at all...

Does flashing change anything about my vodafone contract/package?

noob here...
Haven't got a response yet.
I am thinking about flashing my HD2, but I am little afraid. I have superflat rate, unlimited emails and free calls in 3 different networks and stuff like that.
Will I loose something else except the warranty?
kind regards
vito
Im no expert, i wouldnt think it would!! You could always revert back to stock so it wouldnt affect your warranty.
Maybe some1 else could shed some light on this?

i love cheese..and ok...I will try to flash the same ROm you guys have.. Energy?
I was gonna install HSPL first..but my SPL version is not 1.42...
1) To install this HSPL there must be SPL 1.42.0000 on your device.
Otherwise the installation will fail!
To check your SPL version, hold the Volume Down button and do a reset.
It is possible to downgrade to this SPL, by just flashing to an Official ROM
with this SPL version.
I think you can install hspl 2. Try that - it will just give you an error message if incompatible. What SPL do you have on your phone?

Use HSPL2 instead then it much more versatile in any case.

What hspl version do you have - check in bootloader mode - it should end in x.xx.HSPL and not in x.xx.0000.

Question on how to replace sound drivers in T-Mo 2.13 ROM

I had asked the question about a stock 2.13 T-mobile Rom with sound drivers from 2.10 so that Android would not have the robotic sound, but the thread seams to have disappeared. Any idea why? Seems like an innocent enough question. Anyway I was able to cook a 2.10 ROM to my liking, but I would still like to know how to switch those drivers since 2.13 was a little more stable and faster on my HD2. Thanks for the help

Becareful with just swapping over those files in that post. I tried it last night everything worked well, except for data. At one point I thought the phone was bricked. Had to flash stock rom from sd card to get everything back to normal. Might want to check with some of the chefs for any further details of how to get this done on a stock rom.

Dude, if you seriously expect people to try and help you, you need to provide more information. You cant expect people to diagnose your issue by saying something like "hey my phone dont boot, fix please?"
My guess is that you are not leaving it long enough to extract files or that you haven't partitioned your recovery properly.
i waited an hour... i think thats enough?!
partition is well done, other roms going fine
what informations do you need?

Did you flash CWM...what size?
Did you wipe data,cache partition,dalvik?
Did you install a ROM for magldr or clk?(not previously, what did you do this time?)
You know,a little history can help someone to help you.

Hi,
Each ROM nowadays seems to have a different sized CWM partition.
This is generally well explained on the [OP].
Read carefully,or at least post which ROM you intend to use,so that someone could maybe check for you.

Hi,
Only other thing I can think of is;
have you got the correct ROM for your phone...magldr/clk...tmous/EU 512
OP, you should really use the search feature instead of asking repeat questions.
Do this:
Task 29
Update Radio
MagLDR 1.13
Clockwork Mod Recovery
ROM
Done.

So now that you have it figured. Run the Tmous version and see if you like it then download the EU version with CWM partition size 190 instead of the 240 you used for the Tmous version. It works and you get more free ram. I am runnning EU ROM with 150 partition and am getting 250+ ram free 24/7. Just a tip to any US HD2, you can run the EU version of any Rom.
And please rename thread with [SOLVED] at the beginning of thread name. Now others won't need to waste time and help, and "EXPERTS" won't come to flame.
