Somone pleaseeeeee guide me in connecting to kies and upgrade my firmware...
Hopefully waiting for a reply soonnn

1. Make sure you're on stock firmware.
2. Probably better to post in i9000 forum.

I restored my machine to factory settings, now i am able to connect my sgs using 2.0.
Please let me know how to upgrade my firmware
Venkat.

Venkat, this forum the samsung Vibrant is T959
you are I9000
You should go back to Samsung Galaxy S Section then find I9000 and post there, we really don't know much about how I9000 people update, flash etc. though i think its the same... can't ever be too safe

+1 I9000 forum is where you need to post. the Vibrant 959 is similar but the software is not the same post in the I9000 forum better advice will be found there

If you browsed any of the posts on the first page, you would have seen that i9000 firmwares flashed onto other Galaxy S devices were unsafe. Please refrain from posting about, let alone modifying, devices which you don't understand.

HELP! Need the korean rom m380w wifi version!

hey guys i did a mess O.O i installed a p7510 rom to my korean galaxy tab. And i really need the original rom for the m380w. I lost my backup and cant find it anywhere.. please need your help!!
Didn't you try Galaxy Task 14 and said it was working? I would guess most any one of them would work, seems even the one I just bought here in the states had Korean stuff on it out of the box.

[Q] {HELP!}What is the different between GT-P5110 & GT-P5113

Hi All,
I've a question as the title. I'm new to the tablet family, but I've experience on my galaxy note & SIII.
I recently got my hand on the GT-P5113, since I would like to change the language or regional setting (Chinese- Hong Kong)
Is it compatable for me to flash other P5110 stock rom to the P5113 via Odin?
Will is cause problems or even brick it?
many thanks!!
IR blaster and lack of vibration in the 3. Would of thought roms were interchangeable between the two

As far as I remember reading when I bought this was that ROMs are actually specific to each device.
Thank you for the replies.
I want to find out if anyone has tried flashing different region rom.
I don't mind losing the IR function, but other than this, will it cause major issue and most importantly will it brick!!
I want to keep it simple no root, stock rom is fine, as the Tab is for my uncle to use.
Any input and reassurance is much appreciated!!
If I go ahead and try, any problem, I can always flash back the original Rom, Right??
One more thing, Does both the 5110 & 5113 use the same CPU.
I know for a fact that the US Galaxy Note & International Note uses different CPU. That's why they are so incompatible.
According to this post

5113 roms can be flashed to a 5110

From what I know, you can flash N9005 firmware together with the appropriate PIT file.
You can find the firmware for your device in the convenience way by using Phone INFO ★Samsung★ app > Menu > 'Firmware Browser'.

SM N9007- Samsung forgot this model or is there hope yet?

Hey guys,
Just going through the search forums and by the looks of it unless samsung pick up the pace I'm stuck on 4.4.2 because Optus tried to save some money.
has anyone had any success with a towelroot note 3 9007 variant and been able to run a lollipop rom on it yet? if so was odin required and which rom do you use.
thanks in advance
