[HELP] My TAB stop at the boot screen after flash - Galaxy Tab General

Hi all, I've just bought a Galaxy Tab last week, today I flashed it to the firmware JMI from the samfirmware.com . However, after flashing, it didn't work. It stopped at the boot screen and I couldn't enter the recovery mode by volume up+power.
Anyone know the solution pls help me to save my Galaxy Tab
thanks

This should be in the general section not development.
From the Tab.

Flash the JMI from Rotohammer in Odin and you will be fine again. restart youre tab in download modus. Volume down+powerbutton. The roms from samfirrware suck.

In Odin click repartion, load/use the pitfile that can be found on Roto's server.
In Odin click PDA, load/use the RotoJMI-Rom

You have a locked bootloader because all new firmwares on samfirmware have locked bootloaders
Search for bootloader patch in this forum. Apply and flash what you want thereafter
Never flash directly from samfirmware

Galaxy S boot fail

Hi
Yesterday i wanted to instal on my galaxy s the darky rom. But when the install of CF-ROOT file with odin finished. my phone restarted and stuck on the black Galaxy s screen and only vibrates. I only managed to enter Power reset or unknown upload mode. Ís there a way to fix the phone?
Thx in forward.
ASK Darky its his rom .
Makes more sense to ask the fella that built the rom .
jje
id try and re-install the original rom 1st, what it was on before you tried to update.....

[Q] Galaxy Tab hangs on Galaxy Tab Logo after firmware upgrade

Hello, I have upgraded my galaxy tab (pda jj3-phone jid - csc jj2) to roto jmi firmware with odin 1.7. all the process seems to be ok, no error message.
After rebooting, the device hangs on galaxy tab samsung logo. factory reset is no longer possible. Does anybody have a idea?
Many thanks in advance.
ZK
Ever heard of "if it ain't broke dont fix it"? So, there you go
sure... sure but now it is
Try using volume UP rocker + power button.
This should put the phone into recovery.. Then you select reset to factory defaults. That should do the trick.
thx kragebein, unfortunately my device won't to go in recovery mode
Are you sure you are doing it right? Hold down the up volume rocker and the power button at the same time until you hit the recovery screen? Optionally you could try to see if you get it in download mode, and reflash your phone.. i had severe problems with mine, but got it fixed today by using roto-jma rom..

Yes, I think I dit it right. Download mode can be activated with volume down & power, but not recovery mode with volume up & power. I have tried to load the firmware again without any error message, but no way.

You need to flash a complete rom, like Roto JME FULL v.4 with the tab in download mode. He gives complete instructions.
Some releases are just upgrades, so start with a complete rom.

I have tried that and either it fails to upload the primary bootloader (boot.bin) or it stays the same after flashing: it doesn't go beyond the first Samsung Screen. No adb connection possible.
How can I flash a primary bootloader without protection? With JTAG only?
A forum member, Rotohammer used a Jtag box to fix the bootloader issue. He doesn't recieve PM's, but someone he collaborated with to solve the bootloader issue is a fellow named Chainfire. Perhaps you can contact him for the procedure.
But when you flashed the JME did you use the hidden .pit file with repartition selected?
If I was in your spot I would
1. turn off the tab (push power button for 10 sec)
2. then push power and volume down to go to download (yellow digger screen or phone and pc screen)
3. Connect to pc with odin3 already opened, wait until the yellow box shows the connection
4. Load the p1_hidden.pit and check repartition
5. Flash that, then power off, go into DL again, load and flash JME v4 full rom
6. Now flash a modem
hi guys im thinking that u guys may have flash a lock bootloader rom
or u actually already have a lock bootloader rom
try load a roto jme v4 full version see if it works~
1. download odin 1.7
2. download Addon-JME-Modem.zip / P1_add_hidden.pit / Roto-JME-Full-v4.zip from http://files.deodexed.com/ModADroid-Galaxy-Tablet/Rotohammer/JME/
3. and follow the instruction here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=895827
I wish i said that.

The bootloader mentioned above is in a thread about the black screen and white line you are experiencing. It has the link to that jj4 file.

Thanks, but this didn't help. I think it may be a hardware issue (e.g. the kernel can't be loaded, panic or something). I will return my tab tomorrow.

Galaxy TAb 7.7 brick, please helpppppp

Hi,
My SGT 7.7 seems brick after I took it out of my bag. It gets stuck and stays on the boot screen where says "Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7" for a few seconds, and then just keep rebooting.
It is able to go into the Download Mode when I press "Power+Vol-", but no response when I press "Power+Vol+". I tried to flash all kinds of firmware with Odin, but nothing work.
I also tried to flash it with .pit, PDA, PHONE and CSC. I got this screen and then stopped and Odin says "Now Writing, Please wait about 2 minutes."
I appreciate your help!
please
I need file PIT for galaxy tab 7.7 p6800

you are writing that you already tried it with .pit, pda, phone, csc ..... and on 2nd post you requesting a .pit file
Hiii
But don't work
please help me..............
I think you'll need to take it to the Samsung service center, where they'll need to load your original stock firmware, pitfile, bootloader. If I remember right they ticked the partition box too.

very very good service!!!!!
Try allowing the battery to go flat and see if that gets you out of the loop. You may need to do a factory reset if you manage to re-boot normally.

We need more info:
Which file dit you flash?
Dit you flash one file in PHONE?
or mulitple files, like PIT+BOOTLADER+PDA?
Also it is a good idea to check the MD5 before you flash to make shure the download is not corrupt.
Can you stil go into download mode? Volume Down + Power + Home
Can you go into recovery? Volume UP + Power + Home
Also you can retry with Odin3 v1.85.

Here is my suggestion, reboot the phone into recovery mode. (it's ok if its a stock recovery)
After going into recovery do a "factory reset" and see if the phone starts up normally.
There is at least a 50/50 chance that it will.
If it still does not boot then you need to go to SamMobile: http://www.sammobile.com
and get the stock official ODIN flash firmware for your specific phone model.
I would have given you the exact download link for your specific phone if you would
have been more SPECIFIC and added the EXACT model of your phone in your post.

After successfully flashing the latest stock ROM with Odin, are you performing a factory wipe before booting the phone for the first time?

Flash TWRP after you flash stock and immediately try to boot into recovery before the first ever boot, then wipe everything.

You are unchecking auto reboot in Odin? You are using the correct button combination to enter recovery?

Yes i did that several times...power button volume up and main button below the screen...i flashed twrp recovery right now after flashing stock firmware...wit no use....only download mode whic i can enter....foes that mean the phone is brick?but it can flash firmware successfuly every time i flash stock firmware it gives PASS....
Is there any custom rom can be flashed via odin?
Looks like you are doing every right and it could be a bad memory chip in the phone.
I think the last hope would be to take the phone to a shop with a riff or octopus box and have them force flash the phone. If that doesn't solve the problem, memory chip is probably defective.
Thanx for everyone who provided his help, knwoledge and experience to solve my issue.
Appreciate it from my heart????
Have you solved the problem ? If yes can tell us what did the trick ?
Thanks,

Hi Alitaleb,
I read back the posts, and it seems you have a problem close to mine (not exactelly the same but similar..) see here :
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/help/help-understanding-to-wipe-device-t3679424
I was thinking of something about your problem, are you sure that the volume button is not defective ? I explain myself:
when you want to go to the recovery mode, the volume up has to be pushed, if the up button does not respond correctly then you may think you push up but in fact it is the down position that is detected by your phone...
I would suggest you to dismantle the back of your phone and check if there is no some dirt or simply broken part in the volume button..
Cheers,
