I would get another ROM and reflash it, whether it's a ZIP ROM (CWM) or a NAND ROM via DFT.

it would be awsome if you could send me a link to a good rom? android or windows? realy need this to work

Well there's lots of good roms out there... they are all very easy to flash back and forth from. I hate to say which one is "better" than another as that is purely subjective and everyone has a differing opinion. However, it seems a lot of people really like Sergios, MDJ's and CMYXLGO's ROMs. As a start you may want to check out one of those... Here is a link to the main Android NAND forum.

I have
•HSPL3 ~ SPL-2.08.HSPL
•Radio that support 576 RAM
•DFT MAGLDR Bootloader
•ClockworkMod Recovery
Installed.
Can you send a link to a rom that supports clockwork? i dont realy care witch one just one that works. am e newbie in this just got the phone yesterday, and now i kinda afraid i cant fix it :/ :/

If it turns on and will boot to the bootloader, it's fixable So don't worry that much! Try out Sergio's ROM. It supports CWM. If you do use that one be sure to back up your SD card as you have to repartition it.
The steps to install it are:
Code:
HD2 COREDROID Desire HD V1
1. Extract downloaded zip to a folder of your choice
2. Copy contents of copy_to_sd_root (initrd.gz and zImage) to the root of your sd card
3. Boot into magldr and select USB Flasher option while phone is connected to PC
4. Run DAF.exe included in the zip and follow onscreen instructions.
5. After complete devise will reboot in magldr chose "Boot AD SD" option
6. Device will boot into Clockwork Recovery
7. Select advanced
8. Select Partition SD card (remember too backup all valuable data you have on SD Card)
9. Selet (minimum 512M)(maximum 1024M) Chose what fits best for you Recomended size 1024M
10.Select Swap 0M
11.Wait for the process too finish (do not restart device stay in ClockWork recovery)
12.Connect the Device into USB
13.select mounts and storage
14.select mount USB storage
15.Copy contents of copy_to_sd_root (initrd.gz, zImage) to the root of your sd card
16.Copy CoreDroid_HD_HD2_v*.zip to the root of your sd card
17.Press back key after finish
18.Press back key once more
19.Select install zip from sdcard
20.Select choose zip from sdcard
21.Select CoreDroid_HD_HD2_v* file and then confirm
22.Wait for it too finish
23.After flash options pop up again Press back Key
24.select reboot system now
25.Let it boot wait about +-10Min Enjoy

I haven't really examined the guide you followed that much, but make sure you have installed a recent version of Magldr (i.e. the one you can download in the official Magldr thread in the WinMo subforum, version 1.11 to be precise). The first version(s) have been notorious for the Gogogo! bug persistently affecting some users.
Just a fyi, ignore this if you already have this v1.11

I got the aMagldr V1.11
The rom you sendt me doesnt work, it stopps here:
Run DAF.exe included in the zip and follow onscreen instructions.
i allredy installed a Daf.exe can that be the problem?

No, because it's not really an installer, but a flasher. I'm not really an expert on the CWM issues, but it seems to me like formatting your SD card(do a full format, not the quick one) might help you, since it's quite probably your SD card being the *****.
It may not help you, but if you've got a few minutes I'd say give it a shot. Don't forget to backup important SD (NAND isn't affected) first of course!
Oh, and there's also this small chance that your CWM download is corrupt. Not sure if that would give the gogogo error though.

Sorry for being a complete newb, but how do i do the hard format?
but do i need the DAF.exe to install the rom?

You'd have to format in Windows (which I assume is the OS you're running), which now that I think of it may be a bit of a problem. I don't think you can mount your SD card with Magldr, which means that you'd have to use an external card reader. If you don't have that, you'd have to reflash WinMo to format, but since that's quite some more work for something that I can't even guarantee to be a solution you might wanna hold on to other suggestions.
DAF.exe is the tool which flashes CWM to your phone. Some other tools and/or ROMS use the same name for their flasher though.

after this one :
8. Select Partition SD card (remember too backup all valuable data you have on SD Card)
9. Selet (minimum 512M)(maximum 1024M) Chose what fits best for you Recomended size 1024M
10.Select Swap 0M
i can't do **** i cant open the device in windows. is there no way i can just system recover the whole device? or do i have to rom it?..
realy need this to be working, prefer android but windows is okey

It sure is no brick, as long as you can boot into bootloader (turn on phone while keeping volume down pressed) there's no problem at all. No need to return it either.
If you feel really desperate try the WinMo thing, you've got nothing to lose except for about 30 minutes of your time.

winmo thing? is there any guide?
if i download a format program i can format the sd card..

1. Flash WinMo, this should be no problem in bootloader
2. I think it's possible to format your SD card within WinMo. I've never used WinMo actually so I can't give instructions on that.
If you can't find it or if it isn't possible, mount your SD card so you can see it in Windows. Backup data if necessary. Then right click on it (in Windows), and choose format, then disable quick format which should be selected by default. After the format you should have a clean SD card.
4. Flash Magldr again, following instructions in the official Magldr thread. Download a new copy off xda, to eliminate the possibity of just having had a corrupt download.
6. Flash CWM, following instructions in the official CWM thread.
7. Flash ROM.
Edit: I used WinMo where I meant the mobile OS, and Windows where I meant the pc OS.

I did format the SD card, nothing new just that CWM disapeard.
Now its loading with aMagldr v1.11
And i Have Spl-2.08. Hspl 8g Xe
Can anyone send me a link to a good Win 6.5 rom and anykind of guide?

Can I install MAGLDR through SD card?

Similar to running Leoimg.nbh through boot screen...is it possible or does it require a pc?
Hi,
I have the same question since I broke my USB on the phone. (This is not covered by the warrenty)
I also like to know if it is posible if I can update HSPL.
Radio is posible and Rom by clockworks too.
Basicly I also like to know how the ROM organisation is and what is where in the rom and how the boot order is in the device.
Thanks.
anyone?

No - you need a USB connection to a PC.
USB Port Damaged
Hi,
I would really like to install magldr but my USB port is damaged. Does anybody know if anybody is developing a version of magldr that can be installed from the SD card. I already have hspl 2.08.
Thanks in Advance!

I have not heard of anyone working on a way to to do this and franckly I don't beleive it will ever be possible. The reason I say this is bootloader only recognizes the file name loeimg.nbh when it searches for a ROM on the SD card. This type of file the .nbh is a file extension spacific for HTC devices runnin Windows Mobile and Andriod. the .nbh is a HTC Hermes ROM image wich is a ROM update utility. So you see it is spacificaly for used with ROMs and MAGLDR is a different type of bootloader not a ROM. There for the regular bootloader will not allow it to be flashed cause it does not meet predifined specifications for bootloader to flash it even if you added the .nbh extension to it. You would have to modifiy the original bootloader to achive this and I don't think you can modifiy it in this manner. You can not even come up with a seperate bootloader for it as any other bootloader has to run in sequence after the original bootloader just like MAGLDR does. So I very highly doubt that flashing MAGLDR will ever be possible, sorry friends.
I am also looking for a solution
My USB post is damaged by a high voltage from my car charger..
Ok guys I may have been completely wrong with my last post. I just yesterday flashed MAGLDR to my HD2 for the first time just to gain some hands on experience with it. I noticed yesteday that when you flash MAGLDR it uses a ROM update utility to flash it to the HD2. I also noticed that when you extract the files for MAGLDR this is this is what you get.
DAF
DAF
EnterBootloader
ErrorBattery.fig
ErrorUSB.fig
magldr.nbh
modelID.fig
rapitool
ROMUpdateUtility.cfg
ROMUpdateUtility
RUUGetInfo
RUUResource.dll
Notice the magldr.nbh file? This is the file the ROM update utility flashes when you flash MAGLDR. It also removes the current ROM on your HD2 when you flash MAGLDR. So knowing what I know about flashing a ROM or Radio from SD card, and now knowing this information on MAGLDR. I think it might be possible to flash MAGLDR via SD card. I mean it seems to me all you would have to do is rename the magldr.nbh file to leoimg.nbh. Then copy it to the root of your SD card and flash it like a ROM or radio from SD card. I have not personally tried it yet cause I have not had time to back up my wife's SD card and reformat it yet. I have to use hers because she has a 2GB card and I have the 16GB. But if anyone else would like to test my theory feel free, but I hold no responsability if you decide to try this and it goes bad.
Ok, I did find out you can install magldr by updating through SD like T-Macgnolia mentioned, CWM you can just put in the root of the SD and then works correct. The next problem I have is the partitioning CWM uses. Everywhere I looked I only see that the partitioning is done by USB flashing, Is there a posabilety to partitioning different?

Hi
OrsoNerOne
thanks for the tip!
So is cwm magldr a special version of magldr?
I tried renaming version 1.3 and renaming to leoimg.nbh but it gets stuck on grey screen displaying -loading......
Should partition my sd first? Do I use any partitioning software, if so?
Thanks t-magnolia for the possibility of doing this!

No CWM is a recovery program much like native.Android devices have. It allows you to flash a Android ROM with the. zip file on your SD card just like a native Android device it also allows you to flash updates via your SD card and make a Nand Droid back up of your Android before flashingva update or new ROM and then use that back up to restore your settings apps and all once you have flashed the update or ROM. You can also use it to do a system recovery (this is like a hard reset for Win No) of your Android ROM if the need arises.
MAGLDR is a custom bootloader that allows you to flash Android or WP7 to a HTC HD2. Just as the bootloader for Win Mo starts up and allows Win Mo to boot, note you do not see the bootloader like you do MAGLDR but trust me bootloader runs first on boot up of Win No. MAGLDR also allows you to do a system recovery but CWM does it more like a native Android device would. MAGLDR is a very powerful and functional bootloader that can do way more than the Win Mo bootloader, but it just can not boot Win Mo yet lol kinda funny isn't it. Anyway read the CWM and MAGLDR threads they will teach you alot. Check my sig for links to both.
One more thing MAGLDR and CWM allows you to have access to your SD card as a mass storage device. MAGLDR has a Mass Storage option and CWM has a mount SD option. Oh and by the way you do not want to partition your SD card. You want it freshly formatted with fat 32 if at all possible, of course make a back up of hour intuit SD card before formatting it.
Thanks for the thanks but I did not make flashing MAGLDR and CWM via SD card. This was done by the rest devs that created these programs. I just happen to notice that it is posinle because the used .nbh files for both of them. Now this was either out of necesiety or out of some good pre planning of the devs. But the .nbh file is a file specific to HTC devices so you all desire Wichita one it was lol.

Hello t-magnolia,
So my .situation is that I have hsol 2.08 and my usb port won't work at all. I don't have magldr installed and am still booting android via winmo.
So if I want to install a nand based rom, what should the steps be please?
I have tried renaming magldr.nbh to leoimg.nbh and put it in the root of my sd. However, it goes.into a grey screen and displays 'loading.........' In blue text and just hangs.

Your problem is either you need to reformat your SD card with Fat 32 or you are using to large GB SD card. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but even if you get MAGLDR on your HD2 you still will npot be able to Flash a NAND Android ROM with out a working USB. Yes you can flash a NAND Android ROM via SD card using Clock Work Mod Recovery(CWM) but you still have to have a functioning USB port to flash CWM to your HD2. Sorry my friend but you will have to get your change your mainboard to get a working USB port befor you can go NAND Android with your HD2.
Haven't read the whole thread but once you've flashed MAGLDR it would be useless as you need a USB connection to flash CWM or a ROM.

Stops after GO GO GO at first boot

Hi
I have tried to install android on my phone and after a few attempts I finally got to the step where to install Android which works fine.
But after first boot it is written that it may take upto 20 minutes.... I have tried with different kernels with same results.... it simply stops after GO GO GO then it comes to the android screen and nothing happens... I have tried to let it be for 5 hours... still no reaction!
What I do is to copy the .zip file to my SD card and go to to the boot menu and coose "Install from zip file on SD card".
Any good ideas how to solve it?

You need to provide more details for folks around here to reply. Ie:
1. Which model are you using - LEO512 or LEO1024
2. Which MAGLDR was flashed. Version 1.13? Because earlier version had the freeze at GOGOGO! problem.
3. Which android build did you use (DAF build type or CWR type?)
Only then we can even start to suggest what to do to help you
Wait....Are you using builds that requires SDCards to be partitioned? If yes, did you partition as required?

My suggestions is either try reflashing or find another ROM that works for your HD2.

Thats odd.... I only know that the experience may vary across different units (ie: wake-up lag, power drain, etc). Never have i heard that not all builds can be successfully booted. I still think the problems has to do with settings (i.e.: config.txt, NAND partition layout, SD Card partition size and formats etc).
If you have a prob with the builds, please specify clearly which version and your configurations. Only then folks here can advice accordingly....
can't hurt...
task 29, WM6.5 rom installation, magdlr installation then flash the rom again
make shure you created ext partition on SD if required for making work the ROM (check its trhead)....
Do a fresh installation(Format SD->Task 29->Flash Radio->Flash MAGLDR->Flash CWM->Flash ROM from zip using AD recovery option in MAGLDR.. Maybe you are using an incompatible radio?
if i have this problem, i flash windows back (LEOIMG.nbh is always on my sdcard).
this will help me.
after one "no-function"-flash dont try an other flash by the same config like the config before.
I think that problem is in kernel . you trying kernel for new desire, use for N1.

i guess you did a ROM flash through clockworkmod? if so, did you flash the correct partition sizes (sense roms need often about 400mb /system partition). If not you need to find the 400mb clockwork recovery in this forum.
If you flashed a rom via DAF, please disregard this.
also please post in the correct forum (Q and A would be correct for this topic i believe)

If your phone has T-mobile on top and buttons are colored red & grees - its LEO1024.
If all grey without any logo on its case/housing - then its LEO512/EURO model.
difference is the NAND size. LEO1024 has 1GB and LEO512 has 512MB.
Peter,
I'll quickly write the outline here, hopefully it helps. But detailed guide on each subject has been posted numerous times here. Please look for them.
Outline to get RAFDROID up and running (Based on your post, im assuming yours is LEO512)
1. Flash MAGLDR 1.13 (this involves entering tricolor screen and flashing like good'ol WM6.5)
2. From MAGLDR, choose USB Flasher mode (Option 4 i think...) and flash Clockwork Mod Recovery with 400MB layout. (this is important, wrong layout will cause bootloop and androd will not boot)
3. Assuming you have 2GB microSD card - Use a memcard reader and connect it to your PC. Dont use mass-storage option from MAGLDR. Launch Minitool Partition and create 1GB FAT32 Primary partiton followed by 1GB EXT3 with 4096 block size primary partition. This process is not as complicated as it may sound
4. Put the downloaded RAFDROID CWR zip file into the FAT32 partition. (When the partitioning is complete, windows will only see 1GB in your microSD. The 2nd 1GB EXT3 partition will only be available to android, so dont worry about it)
5.Once done, pop you microsd in your LEO, and choose Recovery option from menu. Once you enter the recovery menu, choose Install from ZIP file and choose the RAFDROID zip file that you have just put in.
6. Wait, and choose reboot. Whole process should be about 20 min.
7. Enjoy your android
Guys, please add anything if i missed out any steps

Very confused user........HTC HD2 + MIUI

Hi guys,
I have read this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1021837
I am using a HTC HD2 (international version)
I would like to know if it's possible to do the following?
- boot MIUI (http://www.miui.com/download.html) from SD card
From what I have read about MAGLDR, it seemed that I can copy MIUI to SD, and select option 2 in MAGLDR...........
Quoted:
Option #2
Boot AD SD, this will in the future allow you to boot Android from your SD card, but as for now it is not working just yet. This option also allows you to boot other Android specific software such as Clock Work Mod Recovery(CWM) that you have placed specific files for on your SD card. This option is not really needed for CWM as you no longer have to place files for it on your SD card you can flash it straight to NAND.
But it seemed that I need to burn MAGLDR into my phone, which I am afraid of bricking it............
Could someone let me know if I have the whole concept wrong?
Is it possible to run Haret after booting into Win6.5 to run MIUI (http://www.miui.com/download.html) from SD?
i think these tutorials answered by questions............but still a bit afraid to brick my phone..........
http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile/what-is-magldr-and-how-to-install-and-use-it-on-htc-hd2/
http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile/how-to-boot-android-from-sd-card-of-htc-hd2-with-magldr/
You can boot Miui in Winmo via SD. (using haret)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=969661
If you follow the instructions, you probably won't brick your phone by installing magldr.
I didn't want to use MIUI in SD format as no1 is doing it now:
Quoted:
SORRY I will stop to release any MIUI mods , including SD/MAGLDR version, owing to some unhappy things, check here:http://www.miui.com/thread-59240-1-1.html

Managed to install magldr and CMW~~ and trying to "install"/"flash" MIUI files and trying to boot up and stuck at green HTC for 30 mins...........
Any ideas?
Wrong CWM partition file, Check the thread for info on how big the CWM partition has to be.

Sorry, noob question............
check which thread?..............
I've burnt the 400MB version...............
The thread of the rom you are trying to install.
Oh! Okay, I thought making it a bigger size will allow it to have more access to disk space for it's OS + programs, okay, I'll look into this area
How bigger the CWM partition, the bigger the OS space, which you can't use for apps.
But I can choose to install apps in SD card?
A closer look @ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=11894125#post11894125
and I figured that it's running MIUI from SD which is not what I wanted?
I want it to flash into my NAND...............
That one is running from NAND. Follow his tutorial to get it running.
hmmmmmmm, okay.........let me try it again...........
Was doing the CMW thingy,
It failed with:
USB Init Failed...........
The thing is I have 1.3 of CMW, and the tutorial wants me to flash a v1.2 of CMW
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=898913
Eelkede, from his post (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=11894125#post11894125)
can you tell which size of CMW should I flash?
I might go here to reflash the correct size (v1.3 instead of v1.2)
btw, I used this to help me flash..............
http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile...kmod-recovery-on-android-htc-hd2-with-magldr/
150 mb is enough (you can edit it to a lower number, but let's just start normal)
Follow the Instructions you posted.
Put the .zip of the ROM on your sd card
Reboot phone, open the CWM (AD Recovery).
Select: Install Zip from sd card, find the .zip, install. Let it boot (it can take a while, just leave it).
Optional: Install (same way as rom) Language pack, reboot.
Done.
Oh! I used http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile...kmod-recovery-on-android-htc-hd2-with-magldr/
and flashed to 250MB and it's working now!
One thing I noticed; I was using Win6.5 + loading MIUI from SD using Harret, and this is faster than the one I had loaded in NAND..........
You mean it loads faster? or does it handles faster (in android)?
Could be, always reboot a few times before making a final judgement. You can try overclocking your device.
Glad I could help, have fun with MIUI on your device!

[Q] bricked phone? cLK screen only with messages?

The screen you see with the text is just clk it self. Because you do not have a ROM for clk to boot you are seeing this screen. Click on the HD2 guid in my link and it will walk you through how to instll Clockwork Mod Recovery so you can flash a ROM. Or ypou can use the HD2 NAND Toolkit to flash Clockwork Mod Recovery. Or you can also just download the latest version of clk that is also linked in my guide also as it already has Clockwork Mod Recovery included with it.
Thanks for help and info.
I guess this is the link you are referring to:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1021837
?
There are so many options, I have no idea where to start? What is the most simple solution? And how do I put Android on it?
Also, I am not sure if my battery is about 30% full, is it possible to charge it before I proceed. The red light does not come on.
Thanks
Hi
If you want to change your ROM with one another like Android NAND ROM or Windows 6.5 ROM, then use this steps.
For NAND Android ROM; You must flollow this sequence;
first check your device if it is 2.08.HSPL, and format your sdcard ext3 or ext4 and 1gb primary (which one you must use is pointed out by your Android chief). Copy new Android ROM into your sdcard's FAT32 (it must be primary again) section. insert it into your HTC device.
1. do task29
2. install radio rom 2.15.50.14
3. install magldr 1.13
4. do recovery 5.0.2.6
5. do clear cache and dalvik cache.
6. Choose your android ROM .zip file on sdcard, load and enjoy...
For Windows 6.5 Follow this sequence;
Choose a proper win 6.5 ROM for you and, check your device if it is 2.08.HSPL, Format your sdcard like FAT 32 primary partition. insert it into your HTC device.
1. do Task29
2. Install Radio ROM 2.15.50.14
3. Run LeoCustomRUU.exe like "Run as Administrator" which Windows 6.5 rom you chose to use.
HD2Toolkit ; it contains Task29, Magldr, Recovery, Clk and HSPL tools.
www.mediafire.com/?2qz0xa7xfxney47
Radio ROM 2.15.50.14;
www.mediafire.com/?1th8o158r2t6dba
Or more simple one
-Take any "RUU_signed.nbh" from an original win 6.5 ROM and copy it to your SD card.
- Rename to "leoimg.nbh"
- Reset your device while pressing the volume down button.
regards...
Sorry guys, it sounds to complicated to me.
How do I format those partitions?
Any software?
do I do it from PC?
my phone is not working at present
I would like to install latest android though.

What to I do in order to install latest android?
Step by step if possible?

Which Android ROM do you have in hand? Did you look for any android ROM, or which one do you want?
Some steps depends on your ROM which you have chosen.
I am still using an old Android ROM. You must choose a ROM firstly.
First off all the SD card partitioning is not needed to get Android running on your HD2. No offense to powerofthink but they are making this way more complicated than it has to be. The only real thing you need to be sure of is that your SD card is formatted with Fat 32, But most SD cards come formatted this way.
Now download clk 1.5 by Rick_1995, from his clk thread. This version already has Clockwork Mod Recovery included in it so you will have CWM when you flash this file. You flash it just like you flashed the other versionn of clk you flashed before.
Next download the ROM of your choice. Then boot into CWM by holding down the home button while you boot your HD2 up. When you see CWM appear on the screen use the volume buttons to scroll down to "Mounts and storage" and press the send button. Next connect your device to your computer via USB cable and then scroll down to "-mount USB storage" and press the send button. This will allow you to transfer your ROM's .zip file to your SD card by allowing your computer to mount your SD card as a removable. Go to the Windows Start Menu and click on computer and you should see your SD card listed as a removable drive, click on it then copy and past your ROM .zip file to your SD card. Once you have your ROM transferred to your SD card go back to your device and go back to the main menu of CWM by pressing the back button on your device. This will on mount your SD card from your computer. Next scroll down to "-install zip from sdcard" in the main menu of CWM and press the send buttonn. Then scroll down to "-choose zip from sdcard" and press the send button. Now scroll down until you see the .zip file for your ROM and select it by pressing the send button. Select yes in the next menu and let the ROM install. After the ROM is done installing use the back button to go back to the main menu of CWM and select reboot now. Then just let yopur device boot all the way up to the lock screen of the ROM and unlock it and go through the setup.
It is no need to partion when you use clk because clk does all the partitioning for you, unlike MAGLDR which you have to manually re partition manually when you change ROMs.
well I would like to install latest 4.04 ice cream sandwich, but modded for speed if possible?
my card is formatted in fat32 8gig.
Any links for that sort of ROM including procedure for beginners?
I am even more confused now
cheers
I can not do anything.
When I try to either use MAGLDR or cLK, phone responds more and less, but when it comes to progress bar it stays at 0% all the time regardless what procedure I want to do.
e.g.
Starting To Perform MAGLDR Installation
Setting Up Environment for MAGLDR
Starting Installation in 3
Starting Installation in 2
Starting Installation in 1
Checking phone for information!
Starting MAGLDR Installation, Check progress on Phone screen.
Is it a problem that I have cLK installed from before, in cLK progress is also at 0%.
I tried to use official Windows ROM 6.5 from HTC page but does not work too.
Did I brick the phone?

Clockwork: Can't mount /sdcard

Hey folks..
I've got a really annoying problem..
Installing CWM-Roms doesn't work on my HTC HD2..
I'll start from the beginning:
I bought a HD2 with a broken Screen and repaired it using one of these chinese fakes (It works briliant, but i want to be precise).
When I start the HD2 it shows the LOGO of the T-Mobile Windows 6.5 Version I first flashed. And then boots into Android. I was able to install Android , because it is a DFT- Version.
If I start the Bootloader (Volume Down + Power-Button) the following text is shown:
PB8110 HX-BC
SPL-2.08.HSPL 8G XE
0x05
CotullaHSPL 0x50
So let's start installing a different ROM. Everything seems to be ready
I am using this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1044830 Tutorial
for this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21173918 Rom!
I start with installing the Radio ( Version 2.15.50.14 ). In the next step I installed magldr 1.13.
Works good ! In the Magldr all funktions work! USB- Flasher, mounting Mass-Storage and so on...
I Install the 400 mb Clockwork Mod, which I got from the Tutorial. ( also tried 250 mb Version a few days ago) .... When i start the phone now, magldr starts on its own.. I don't need to press any buttons to get into the menu.
I press on AD Recovery and the Clockworkmenu opens..
For partitioning I press in advanced ---> partition sd card--->1024M--->0M Swap Size--->(Partitioning SD Card ...please wait... Done!)
Back in the Main-menu of clockworkmod I click on "wipedata/factory reset...HD2 says:"Data Wipe complete"
I take out the sd card and copy the ROM to the root of it ( The SD card isn't partitioned)
I put the sd- card back into the phone, start it --->magldr menu starts--> press on Ad Recovery--> install from sd card--> choose zip from sd card
And now there is the Error--> E: Can't mount /sdcard
CWM can't so anything to the sd card.. Mounting mass-storage doesn't work either! Magloader ha full access to the sd card....
Where is the mistake? I've done the Tutorial step by step...
cLK doesn't work as well.. clk isn't able to go into Fastboot mode...
Can somebody help?
Thank you !!
Sorry for my language ... I'm quite tired and english isn't my mothertoung, so my
syntax isn't realy creative
Try formatting using SD Formatter v3.1 with format size adjustment on (quick format should be ok) from pc.
Then if you want ext partition use cwm as before.
First, it can happen that formatting sd in cwm can messed up.
Put card in card reader and format fully your card in windows.
You can also download gparted and make boot cd, boot it and delete all partition on sd cdard, just be careful to select your sdcard and not your hard disk.
If you don't have card reader and nothing helps, ask some friend which have android to format your sd card.
Few tips:
For start try installing magldr roms not clk.
Use cwm 5.0.2.7 for hd2
Use hd2 nand toolkit if you want all utilities in one.
Dont flash cwm with system partition so big as 400mb, there isn't really need for that.
Ever devs give you advice for how big your boot/system/cache partition needs to be if you wanna use particular rom.
Changing system and other partitions size can be done in 2 ways:
1)go to your cwm folder on pc and look for FLASH.CFG, be carefull there also one file similiar name, you need to open flash.cfg as it would be word document and you'll see partition size in there, change to size which dev of room advise.
2) use hd2 nand toolkit and follow instructions from forum
If you are first time in nand installing, read guide how ti use hd2 nand toolkit and cwm, or guide how to install nand rom.
Sent from my SlimICS using xda premium
Hmm formating didn`t work.. I'll try partitioning now...
Nope Doesn't help anything.. CWM istn't able to find the sd-card ( I've tried with 3 different sd-cards)
Where can I get this CWM Version? I've seached but didn't found it for the hd2... What the hell is wrong with my device ...Has someone an idea?
I would not be blaming cwm myself, sounds really like a hardware fault!:silly::silly:
Could be wrong tho':silly::silly:
:cyclops:
hmm that would be bad -.-
but its strange, because the for example magldr is able to mount the sd card and my windows 6.5 is also able to acess the card and use it...
So it cant be the sd-slot that is broken .. And as I said i tried 3 different sd-cards , even bought a new one just to be sure..
Flashing my good old htc touch hd was alot easier
I've tried to flash back to the o2 stockrom now, but i get the same error...
There are alot of people that have this error on the internet, but they all got a different solution and non of them has worked for me yet...
If someone got an idea, feel welcome to tell me.
Thank you
Now I understand, if your sd-card worked on windows? then it is a bit of a problem!!
google is your friend...

Does trying to set an AD Dir (services =>bootsettings => ad sd dir) show up the sdcard directory or drop back to the MAGDLr home screen?
Other options, try flashing a different recovery (CWM Touch beta 8 works for me), or try using MiniTool to change the sdcard partition to Promary, from logical.
Okay services=>bootsettings=>AD SD Dir=> no directory is shown ..just <.> ... clicking on this results in a drop back to the magdlr home screen...
Ahh and i had already tried minitool... Didn't change anything unluckily.. Il this version of cwm now
Thank you
ohh damn.. I just thought, that on wm6.5 the sd card worked...
Tested it again ..it doesn't...
Okay .. Magldr is able to connect the Sd-card to my computer via USB, but the Roms can't use the SD card? ..Strange...
Is that possible? I mean is it possible that it is something with the hardware?
Then my hd2 will be on ebay tomorrow
If you used all sd-cards with windows they are kinda locked by windows and you won't be able to use them with android unless you are able to reformat them to fat32.
This thread might help you sort it out.:cyclops:
Hmm they write, that WP7 locks sd-cards... but i never had a phone with windows 7
and the android of my girlfriend accepts at least one of the cards ...
And wp7 cab sender doesn't work with wm6.5 here.. I'll try the killdisc
At all WM 6.% can't read or see the sd-card either .. just magdlr can mount the sd card
Okay ! Problem solved!
It was a tiny hardware problem!
look at the attached photo...
The arrow points on a little piece of metal. In my phone it was bend towards the edge of the mainboard.
This tiny piece of metal is very important for the sd-slot ..Normally when a sd card is inside the slot, this piece gots contact to another metal piece..
So if you got a problem like me just look for this thing!
