tried every methods and i still cant unlock my hd2 wp7 can some one help please - HD2 Windows Phone 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting an

i tried these direction....below (did not mean to post this here )..i dont know what else to do
1. Install WP7 sdk Windows Phone Developer Tools;
2. Install zune;
3. Make partneship with zune and phone;
4. Attach the ChevronWP7.cer(you found in the toolkit) to your email and send the email to your email itself (On PC);
5. Login to your email account (On Phone), Open the email, Select attachment and install the cert;
6. Connect your phone to pc and make sure zune is running in background;
7. Run the unlocker (ChevronWP7.exe) and click unlock button(Make sure your phone date is set correctly)
(you need to close skype and disable network adapter.. hamachi.. wireless.. Dropbox.. etc)
6. Install toms .xap installer;
7. Deploy Connection Setup.xap, Touch Xplorer.xap and XBMODDeployer.xap (Install it on the phone and run XBMODDeployer.xap);
8. Copy the .provxml from the ringtons folder to the windows folder (on the phone using touch explorer app);
9. Run connection setup to install the .provxml;
10. Call Microsoft helpdesk and ask them an activating key for your hd2 (don't pm me for the key)
11. Setup up your live ID and enter the activation code (on the phone).
(also i tried these directions to ...below)
1 - Disable LAN card in your PC (Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections\ right click on "Local Area Connection" and choose "disable"). It is very important to disable ALL connections, but you MUST remember which one is used for Internet access (see below, why).
2 - Do all the standard steps of unlock - install certificate, start WPConnect e.t.s. When Chevron fails to unlock - LEAVE IT OPEN.
3. Start Notepad and open hosts. Delete lines added by Chevron (at the bottom). Save. LEAVE NOTEPAD OPEN.
4. Press Win+R and enter IPConfig /flushdns , press "enter". CMD window will blink for a second - that's normal.
5. Press Win+R again (there will be IPConfig /flushdns typed already), but DO NOT PRESS "ENTER", just leave this window open.
6. Now the trick. Start WPConnect. WHILE it connects, continue to repeatedly press "Unlock" button in Chevron, until the black CMD window of WPconnect disappears. Chevron will fail to do its job, but that's in fact is the very thing we need.
7. Now, do not touch Chevron window, just return to Network Connections and ENABLE yor LAN card.
8. Go to Notepad and JUST CLICK "Save", do not alter anything inside.
9. Return to the window with the typed command IPConfig /flushdns . Press Enter.
10. Start WPConnect, WAIT until it disappears, and press "Unlock" button in Chevron. You're done - this time unlock would work
these r the third set of steps i took 9and nothing )
1. Have Winphone developer tools installed. Download it for yourself
2. Connect Phone via USB
3. Wait till zune starts and sync completes
4. Verify that zune is not in a guest relationship
5. open a command prompt, type netstat -a to confirm that port 443 is not being used
6. open an admin command prompt, navigate to c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\ then type notepad hosts and delete any references to windowsphone developer services
7. go to the settings on the phone and turn airplane mode on (so that the phone is forced to use internet via zune)
8. While the phone is still on the settings page, run Chevron with admin privileges

post the list of steps u took.
may b u r not following some of the instructions..

it worked for me

I have been experiencing the same problem. What I have discovered is that after several attempts I have just left the chevron in the background without closing it after the last fail for around 10 minutes. After that I have just thought that it is worthed to give it a try and then suddenly was saying that the phone is unlocked and instead UNLOCK button there was just RELOCK button. Hope that this will help you. The only thing that I have shutdown was skype and the chevron was run with administrative rights.

I'm in the same trouble, the first time that i installed all work fine at 1st attemp, then the device was blocking itself and never more i can unlock again, i tried all method explained here an in other sites i reflashed the phone again, but nothing it seems that my phone is in a black list or something.

Unlocking the HTC G1 from germany!

Hello,
I new here, i'm from germay, and i only found a way for unlocking USA Phones.
Now my question is if anyone knows a way hot to unlock my phone which is from germany and also locked on german t-mobile.
Sorry if there was this question before but i havnt found it.
Merry Christmas! tollmar
Afaik the german g1 do not have a Netlock or Simlock, only the austrian have. I rooted my german g1 with a goldcard.
yes,yes,bastards is right, you need a goldcard and root our germany G1 canbe very easy , do it ,you can
My german G1 never had a Netlock. Are you sure that your one really have it?
And the first Android Devices released here in Austria also never had a Netlock, the G1 and the Magic (at least the Vodafone ones).
Well i mean the Austria one But t-mobile austria and german is the same
SO anyone got an idea?
I tried to unlock it with a code i get from a site. But it havnt worked..
Now there is not any longer the screen where i can enter the code..
Is it normal that after 1 fals entering i cant enter it anymore ?
When i Start the phone now, i just see the screen to log in google account, but cause the handy is not unlocked i dont get connection to it.
What shall i do?
Which release are you on? On 1.5 or 1.6 you could just skip it for now and use wifi later, after activating it in the settings. If it's older you have to search the forums, I've seen a few threads about that.
Well the its the fact, that the phone isnt UNLOCKED... I asked at HTC and they ment if the phone isnt Unlocked i cant logged in Google!
The best solution
I performed this procedure during rooting my G1 without a T-Mobile data plan. I don't remember who published this info so I can't give credit where it's due. I found a root kit along with specific instructions here: http://forums.t-mobile.com/t5/Opera...oot-G1-even-if-it-has-1-6-android/td-p/237395. Once you downgrade then upgrade to 1.5 or cupcake, you are within the 'security hole' to root you G1. In order to proceed from this point, you must have a data plan or follow this procedure to enable wifi and log into google. Also, this process works without a sims card. Here goes.
Activate Stock G1 over WiFi
I've seen a few guides around the internet in regards to activating a G1 over wifi without a data package, and decided to test it myself. Since it worked, I'm compiling the information that I've gathered into one easy-to-read thread.
Standard disclaimer:
Bricked phones, not my fault.
The Setup
1x Stock G1 running cupcake, this phone has no root modifications on it.
1x USB cable
1x SD card, at least 128MB
The image file to downgrade to version RC29 of Android, download here
ADB for your computer:
Linux Download
Mac Download
Windows Download
Windows Only:
Windows Drivers for Android (XP only)
--End Setup--
1. Ensure that your SD card is formated FAT32, and place the DREAIMG.nbh, that came out of the DREAIMG-RC29.zip file, in the root directory of the SD card. (No, DREAIMG is not a typo.)
2. With the phone off, insert the SD card into your G1.
3. While holding down the camera button, turn on the phone.
3a. You should see a rainbow screen, followed almost immediately by a gray screen. (mileage and colors may vary)
3b. One of the lines on the phone should read: "Press power button to start update image".
3c. Press the power button
3d. Wait for the entire process to complete, do not interrupt! It will tell you it is done updating.
4. Reboot phone.
Download the appropriate ADB file for your system, if you're on a Windurrs machine you'll need to download and install the Android drivers as well.
Ok, we're done rolling back to RC29; and we have access to the 'sploit which gives us terminal access without seeing the terminal.
Until I tell you to later on, do not touch the screen for any reason. During the rollback process the screen has turned into hot lava and will burn your hand if you touch it. If you can't resist, and touch the screen not only will you be sans one digit but you get to reboot your phone and start over.
You should now be at this screen:
<pic>
5. Hit <enter>, type "reboot"(no quotes), and hit enter again.
5a. If all went well your phone just rebooted, yay good thing!
6. We're back to the last screen.
7. Plug your phone into your computer using your USB cable.
8. If you mistype this step or it doesn't work(because you mistyped), you'll need to reboot your phone and try, try again.
9. Hit <enter>, type "setprop persist.service.adb.enable 1"(no quotes), hit <enter>
9b. If all went well you should get an error message saying something like "cannot dial 7387767 7377478.7378423.232.362253 1, it's not an emergency number. This is a good thing, we hope.
10. Set your phone down.
11. Open a terminal on your computer, and navigate to the folder containing the adb file you downloaded earlier.
edit: First cd 'drag and drop the folder Tools into the terminal window. I will copy the proper directory path.
12. If all is well, you should be able to type "adb" and get a big screen of options.
13. Type "adb devices".
13a. You should see the following: <pic>
13b. If all you see is "list of devices attached", and nothing below it, reboot your phone and move back to step 8.
13c. type "adb shell" (no quotes)
14. Copy and paste "am start -a android.intent.action.MAIN -n com.android.settings/.Settings" into your terminal.(no quotes)
15. If your copy+paste-fu is strong, you'll see this screen: <pic>
At this point you're in. You will see the 'Settings' window allowing you to set up wifi, and connect to google data and hence the internet.
Regards, davidrol

[Q] how can i download HTC HUB 1.7 for my Omnia 7

htc hub is good,i want install it on my Omnia, but i can`t find the xap file.
maybe someone can help me, thx
try here not sure it will work
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=955726&highlight=htc+hub
doesn't work on mine...
will you let us know if you find a working version?
HTC HUB
You need a dev unlocked phone.
Use the chevron wp7 method.
IF YOU HAVE ERRORS CONECTING THE PHONE TO CHEVRONwp7 PROGRAM, two ways to try to solve it.
METHOD ONE:
Attention: if port 443 is used (see on your list) stop IIS or exit Skype program
METHOD 2
1. Click the Windows Icon.
2. On the search box, type device manager, click enter
3. Click continue when prompted
4. On the device manager window, find "Portable Devices"
5. Right click on your Leo. Uninstall
6. Unplug your device. if you can find another "Portable Devices" uninstall it also (as it was for my case)
7. Restart PC
8. Plug device again (Do not open Zune software yet)
9. Windows should try to install driver for the device. Click on it. After installing there should be two things in there... the other one is your Leo ready to use. I can't remember the other one, but I think it is "storage card ready to use"
10. When done correctly. Zune will open up on its own.
11. See the device sync
12. Your free space should appear in the zune software
13. Run Chevron
14. It should open now without the "uh oh" error
Then follow the original instruction on how to install chevron
I have tried it on my omnia 7 and it works. The HTC Hub can be found as an .xap file in the xda wp7 forums if im not wrong. you can install it with Tom's Xap Installer 1.2 in the xda forums too
HOPE I HELPED

finally i got a root for my phonee!!!!

I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR PHONE
* Steps:
1st You need to get to: alpharev.nl/x/beta/ to download the tool, and to get your “beta key” which you’ll get in a pop-up window in the same download page after you click the download link for (windows version).
The “beta key” is a must; the tool won’t work without it!
You’ll be asked to provide your phone “serial no.”, typically it should be something like HTXXETDXXXXX, and you can get it from:
Settings --> about phone --> phone identity.
Now, do the following:
1. Run latest version of HTC Sync on your PC and connect phone in HTC Sync mode and sync all your files. Remove HTC Sync and not the drivers.
2. Reboot phone.
3. Settings->Applications->Development->Check “USB Debugging”.
4. Run AlphaRevX and connect phone to PC in “Charge Only mode”.
5. AlphaRevX should recognize your phone and show your Device Serial number.
7. Type out the “key” in the AlphaRevX software, keeping in mind the upper and lower case letters and press enter (you can copy / paste the key).
8. AlphaRevX should start doing its job and you’ll get S-OFF in less than 90 seconds.
9. If it takes longer, just wait for the 15 minutes mark, if nothing, then reboot phone and retry.
(Some members got S-OFF after multiple tries)
Rooting the device:
Step 1 - Installing the USB drivers
Download USB drivers (here) and extract them on desktop. Turn off your wildfire and boot into HBOOT by holding the VOLUME DOWN + POWER button. Connect your phone to your PC and it will show "drivers installing" or similar there for Android device. When prompted, install the drivers by going to device manager and browsing to the folder where you extracted the drivers. Once installed, disconnect and reboot your phone normally.
Now you need to install the “Android bootloader interface”.
Connect your HTC wildfire to the PC and it will ask for drivers again, now go to device manager, click on unknown device “other devices”.
Click on update driver -> install from specific location -> No i will choose to install -> choose Android phone and click on “adb interface” -> click next -> when asked to install click on continue anyway, just install them.
Once done you will see your phone recognized as "Android bootloader interface".
Now disconnect your phone and go into:
Settings -> applications - > development - > enable USB Debugging.
Congratulations, the first step is complete.
go to:http://www.4shared.com/file/K3HTXWWd/GingerBreak-v120.html
and download the file...and put it anywhere in ur phone....
switch on your phone and install gingerbreak..
awitch on the app...
and then press root..
after it is done it will either reboot itself or you reboot it manually...
congrats your phone is now rooted..!!!!
Nice. I rooted my phone this way aswell!
Its usefull for people with newer HBOOT versions!
no need to do this so complicated...
just s-off using alpharev x, install clockwork mod recovery and start flashing ROOTED roms.
no need for gingerbreak. and if you want to root your current ROM, just use the su.zip
!!
i felt that this was easier then that one..!!

I'm in a similar situation. I was asked to use latest CWM. I happened to use Tenfar's CWM that came with the boot loader unlock.
I haven't tried it yet. Will give a shot this weekend
Hi!
I'd suggest the following:
1. Install ADB from the Android SDK.
2. Turn on Settings -> Applications -> Development -> USB Debugging.
3. Connect your phone to a computer. (If you do not have a cable, have it connect to the same local network.)
4. Select 'Motorola Phone Portal' as connection method.
5. Reboot while holding Vol. Down.
6. When you see 'Fastboot', tap Vol. Down until 'Early USB Enumeration' appears.
7. Press Vol. Up.
8. Go to a command line where your ADB executable is.
8a. If you have connected by network, find out your device's IP address and type adb connect <IP>
9. Type adb wait-for-device
10. Type adb logcat
Now, Android's system log should appear. Scroll up and carefully look for error messages - the cause for this could be widely different, I had the same problem with 'Error: ID mismatch' or something along those lines. It is likely that the application itself is the problem, and that uninstalling it will fix things. If you come to that conclusion from the log:
11. Terminate logcat (Ctrl+C, usually)
12. Type adb shell
13. Type cd /data/app
14. Type ls *gapps* (If that fails, type ls and look manually)
15. Take the file name for Gapps' .apk and type rm <filename>
16. Reboot
17. Rejoice
Sincerely,
V

I can't turn on my phone, or DO ANYTHING with it, the only thing is that I get "M" screnn taht's all, if i want to turn it down I hae to do a battery poll.
Excactly, that's what Early Enumeration is for Usually, USB is loaded when the OS is up, I suppose - at least you can't normally connect with ADB during boot. However, with Early Enumeration set, you can connect while the phone is still booting and access every capability ADB or the shell is able to provide. (Granted, uninstalling the .apk in question with adb uninstall did not work for me, that's why I posted the manual approach, but that may have been an error on my side.)
I wonder if my issue is the same. Mine is stuck in a 'dual core' reboot over and over.. I can't get into recovery mode or anything. Sometimes I hate phones.

(I have enabled advanced reboot.) I use the command "adb reboot-bootloader" in boots to fastboot. Now it loses connection. I Open the Run dialog box by pressing Windows Key+R. Type “devmgmt.msc” besides Android is a yellow triangle, then click Update Driver.A new window will pop up. Select the ‘Browse my computer for driver software’ option. I copied the drivers from the OnePlus 5 folder. Try to install but nothing. This is where in stuck. Please help. Thanks
